Award Winning Pastas Here. Sicilian Style is Exactly What We Love! Raised here.

Here is near our home in old hometown what we missed while we were away. This is it, this is what we are looking for as we travel about. Sicilian flare in the Italian Restaurants. The Best! You know my reviews are hardly necessary. You natives who live in this wonderful hometown, yes you already know what's number one and best. This review is for those of us traveling through who need to go where the service is awesome. The food is relational to our hometowns. Most of all where the feeling of at home satisfies you. Enjoy.

    Fat Tire small draft!

Food was good! Prices have gone up. But that's everywhere. Service was good. Not exceptional. But that's OK for early saturday afternoon. Had to help ourselves a bit for a few things

While I'm town for my little sisters homecoming, we stopped by here to get dinner as it's always been a family favorite growing up and it still is! Service: the hostesses and servers were fantastic the entire time! They were very accommodating for a larger group along with the pickiness of some of my siblings! Food: the food was amazing as always! Their house salad is probably my favorite thing here, as it's perfectly dressed through and through! Not only that, but the mushroom raviolis were fantastic and tasted so so fresh. Everyone at the table was swooned by their food and enjoyed every last bit of it! If you're in the Rockford/Belvidere area, I highly recommend stopping in and checking this little family owned place out!

Our favorite restaurant for sausage pizza. Fast service. They make their own sausage.

The food was delicious. We ordered the salmon entree and the chicken parm. The Salmon was just okay but the chicken parm was one of the best I've had. The sauce made the meal. Each meal came with soup or salad, potatoes or pasta, dessert and coffee. The salad was yummy, particularly the house dressing. The bread was fresh and soft. We both made a mistake and asked for a baked potato instead of pasta. The potato was fine but both our meals paired better with pasta. The ice cream with coffee was a nice touch. The coffee was really good, like wedding coffee. lol. Each meal was approximately $25 ounces which was well worth it considering what came with it.

Now I have to say our waiter was a hunk. My 82 year old friend was playfully hitting on him and he was very sweet on how he handled the situation. I believe his name was Sebastian. OK back to the food. The salad was the best I think I've ever had for a house salad. It was a vinaigrette dressing, but what made it so good was slices of Italian sausage and hard-boiled egg. I would've been happy with that, but no, I had to have more! I ordered the veal piccata with lemon sauce, and it was delicious. One of the ladies ordered a salad which looked like an Italian forzale , which is a ring of Italian hard bread with vinegar and oil on it and chopped tomatoes. It was very good and I've never seen it in a restaurant before. Everyone really enjoyed their dinners. It was one of the girls birthdays, and they stuck in the ice cream a large sparkler. Nice touch. Can't wait to go back again and try their pizza.

When we have out-of-town guests, this is the place we will take them. It's a place I would be proud to take them. It's literally the only place I've been to that I can say that about. All the food is great: from the salmon to the chicken to the pizza to the pasta .... The service is great: helpful, nice, don't rush you out.... The facility is nice: very comfortable with gorgeous architecture and furnishings. This is at the top of our rotation....

Service was the same, had to ask for napkins and a steak knife as they were not brought to us. We our server was very sweet. The bruschetta and oysters Rockefeller were the stand outs-- so good! Both our mains were a bit disappointing. The cook on my husband's steak was incorrect and it had zero char-- pretty much totally gray. My risotto was undercooked with a bit too al dente rice and watery sauce. It also was underseasoned. However the seafood was great so I ate that without hesitation. I keep saying I like but don't love Francesco's, and for dinner for $275 for two people in Rockford, I just expect better quality if we're going to be paying downtown Chicago prices. I would go back but it's not going to be a meal I seek out.
