I love coming here for dinner. Food is delicious, ambiance is welcoming, and service is always great. I enjoy their pizzas and am always hooked to keep ordering these :) A few pastas I've tried have been tasty as well. Love the dinners being paired with salad...yum! They have a nice bar menu with great drinks and prices. I enjoy ordering a glass of wine or a well drink to enjoy pre dinner as well to enjoy in the bar and then migrate to the back restaurant area for dinner. Wow. That's all I can say after my dinner tonight. And not a good, wow. We have eaten here plenty of times and my last experience would give them 4 stars. The food is always good. Tonight the food was fine but the service was awful. Not for everyone, just for us.... We got there at about 7 and put in our food order. The salad and soup came right out. The salad is just iceberg lettuce on a plate with a dressing packet. Nothing special. The soup was good- Italian wedding soup. Our waitress let us know our bread and butter would be right out. We finished our soups and salad....we waited, and waited. Finally I stopped a different waitress and asked for the bread. It came right out. It was warm, good bread! Our waitress came and gave us a pitcher of water so that was Nice. We continued to wait for our food. Our waitress didn't come by. About 25 minutes later I saw her glance at our table and realize we didn't have our food. I also was out of my pop for awhile too.... She went to the back- you can tell she was not happy. Then she went to the register and was working on something. I went up and asked what was going on and she basically said they lost our order and it'll be a few minutes before it comes out. The manager/owner? Was informed and he told the waitress she could offer us a free dessert or an appetizer....what!? So I asked to speak to him and he seemed put off that we were asking for any kind of compensation for them losing our order.....and wait over an hour for our food... 3 tables that had come after us had already eaten, paid and left. He finally agreed to comp our pizza...a whoppin $11 By this time we were done eating. We again had to wait another 5 minutes to ask for a box and ask for our check. I'm sad that they were not willing to do more to compensate for their mistake. Did I mention I had a 5 year old and 2 year old that were beginning to lose their mind waiting!!???? I'm not sure if I will ever come back to this location. read more

I've only enjoyed their Everything Pizza so far but was impressed by how absolutely delicious it was!! The Durand location features a wonderful, true Italian ambience and the service was equally amazing! Shout out to the bar staff for great conversation too. Was in town for a wedding, cousin in law took us out to explore his town. Of all the places we made a stop at, Ciminos was the absolute best. Wings were 10/10. I will preface this by saying it was a busy night. Of course fish Friday, you expect that. Unfortunately once we were seated my son ordered the beer battered cod, they were out. He was disappointed but decided on grilled salmon. We also ordered cheese curds and a grilled tilapia for me. Took quite some time to receive our food, once we did, the salmon was extremely dry and my baked potato was under cooked. Plus we never did receive our cheese curds. This is very much a everyone knows everyone place and if you're not a local or regular you will not receive the same attention from servers. This was our first visit. We will not be back. read more

After our first two restaurant choices were closed on that Sunday, we found ourselves here. We couldn't have found ourselves at a better spot. The service was prompt, friendly and the food was excellent. The pizza was hot and delicious. We had a large regular crust, half cheese/half pepperoni, and two kids and two adults devoured it. The breaded chicken sandwich was equally as good and freshly made. The kids thought the cheese curds were insanely good. Quality food for a reasonable price! The pizza at Cimino's wow it is so good and there's so many different options of pizza and then there's wings there's pasta there's burgers there's sandwiches and wrap there's Salads. Find many people who are nicer than the people working at Ciminos you could ask anyone in town probably like the best restaurant in town. read more

A great surprise dinner/pizza stop on a trip to Illinois. The group we were with at Lake Summerset decided this was our Sunday night choice. Excellent pizza - great cheese curds and spinach dip for appetizers. The waitress was absolute great. But I do have to give a shout out for the treatment for children. I'm very very rarely out with children but tonight it was a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old with us and they were taken care of fabulous. So 6 adults 2 kids drinks around 2 apps and 2 large pizzas - total check $106. We will be back. read more

I don't know why they call it a Pizza restaurant, it is much more than that. The pizza by the way is outstanding!! The Food, Drinks, Service and hospitality are A+++. Pasta tastes like something you could easily make at home with a few ingredients from walmart. This is by far the best restaurant in Durand and the surrounding area. They have a great variety of items on the menu for any budget. I've ate here 100's of times and I've never had a bad meal. Any mistakes on orders have always been corrected without question. All of the servers and staff are exceptional and make you feel at home. The owner is always there as well. We had 2 pizzas delivered this past Friday night. After waiting for an hour and a half they finally arrived. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. The taco pizza was basically tasteless. Taco sauce couldn't even help, not to mention the brown lettuce that they used to top it. The sausage pizza was extremely greasy. Bad experience on Wed night pizza buffet night. Arrived around 6. Literally everything we wanted was empty. Most pizza gone. Wings gone. Salad gone. White pasta gone. We had to wait quite awhile to get any food. Then they only brought out a couple pizzas. Not enough to feed all the people in the line. And even longer wait for any wings. And of course they only brought out a small batch. Gone with the first few people in line. Suddenly, as we were LEAVING- the pizza table was FULL and 2 kinds of wings heaped up high! Too late for us. No excuse for such poor planning. The place was FULL! Keep all your foods refilled. Do NOT wait. Keep an eye on your foods selection and when they are half gone, COOK SOME MORE. You HAVE to be pro-active when you are advertising a very busy buffet special! read more

Update to my previously positive review: Lately it takes over an hour to get food delivered, and I am only 5 minutes away...the staff are extremely rude. This was once a great place and the food was fantastic. That is no longer the case, the pastas are still good but the pizza has gone downhill drastically this year. I have been a customer here my entire life. The updated bar and dining room area is very nice. I live in Chicago and the pizza beats most all of the places I've been to there. I haven't lived in Durand very long but I have ordered delivery from Cimino's and I think it's good. Not as good as the one in Pecatonica but it's still good. I never had any problems with my food. I ordered Fries and Mostaccioli and my guest order their pan pizza. It arrived on time and everything was hot. I'll order again. read more

I will say it takes a while to get a delivery order but beings that we live in the country I can't complain greatly because they are in fact willing to deliver which is more then I can say for anywhere else in our area so that defeats any criticism I have. I can however say that their pizza is fabulous and am extremely appreciative of the options they offer in both their delivery and in house. I am a celiac disease customer and with their recent offering of gluten free pizza I can speak with assurance that their gluten free pizza is absolutely phenomenal! Actually probably the best I've every had, even the teddy of my family who can have the normal pizza enjoys it! I have ordered three separate times from this location (all for delivery) all three of these have had something wrong with them. The first that we ordered was the Friday Fish Special, which had a good amount of food and tasted good, but one order was missing the bread that was supposed to come with it. The second time we ordered was for their Sunday pizza special. We ordered it on a game night, so we knew it would take a little longer than usual. We were told it would be about an hour. After at least an hour and a half, we called just to check the status, figuring (and being ok with) they were just really busy and it would be a bit longer. They said the delivery person had just left with it so she should be there soon. The location is literally 5 minutes away. 45-60 minutes later she arrived with the pizza. The only explanation she gave was" *giggle* Sorry I'm so late *giggle*". Needless to say both pizzas were cold and we were irritated. The third time we ordered we got their "Tour of Italy" (I think that's the name) special. This order was missing both soups, and the cheese and sauce from one part of the order was completely covering the rest of the order, so much so that I thought they had forgotten the chicken as well. The food in this meal was okay. I'm not really sure if I have enough confidence in them to get the order correct and here in a timely manner so I'm not sure if I'll order from them again. I just wish there was another restaurant in the area that delivered, if there was I would probably never order from there again. read more
