Unlike my previous visits, Gaby did not step out of the room to give me privacy while I undressed -- she simply told me to take off my pants and stayed in the room, which made me very uncomfortable. During the process, I was on FaceTime with my boyfriend (camera facing only my face). Gaby made an inappropriate comment stating that I needed to get off the phone because clients become extra dramatic when they have an "audience." I found that extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I'm an adult and I know how to conduct myself. When she inspected the area, she questioned how long I had let my hair grow, and even after I clarified that it had been 2.5 weeks, she continued to argue with me. I asked her directly if I should reschedule, and she said it was fine -- but the end result proved otherwise. The waxing session was rushed, lasting barely 10 minutes. After saying "ok," she just walked out without any follow-up or indication the service was complete. I paid $85 plus a $15 tip out of courtesy, but when I got home and checked, I was shocked to find large patches of hair left behind -- the job was incomplete and sloppy. My vagina looked like Cynthia from the Rugrats. I attempted to contact the shop multiple times afterward to discuss the issue, but no one answered the phone. I ended up going to another esthetician and paying again to have the wax corrected. I've been a loyal customer in the past, especially when Norma was there, and always received quality service. Sadly, that level of professionalism and care seems to have disappeared. I do not recommend this place anymore and will not be returning.

I went back to D'Gal and the owner was OUTRAGEOUSLY unprofessional. She did not like that I asked for a refund and offered NOTHING but a "you signed paperwork." She had no empathy, didn't want me to get license information for complaints. She even called me a "Karen." This is by far the MOST unprofessional establishment I've dealt with. I paid $80 and gave a tip to be injured and insulted by this business owner. I'm very sorry that I didn't read the reviews about Gaby, the owner before coming here. This was my 3rd time here in 2 months. There are tons of other options in Killeen. Definitely, find a better one. The store front looks nice but it is lip stick on a pig.

The shop is so cute on the inside. It is just her who works there so that definitely was a plus to me to know that when I booked again it would be just her instead of another waxer if she was booked. She also gave me tips on getting waxed, things no one has ever told me about waxing.. for an example "breathing" lol I normally just hold me breath when it comes to pulling the wax off but if you just breathe during the whole process it would hurt much less. I have NEVER complained about nails in my life but I could not just sit quiet with how he left my nails. He didn't even ask me how long I wanted my nails he just cut them, and he filed so rough and carelessly he didn't even try to get the nail shapes close to the same. After nicely telling him the shape wasn't what I had in mind I pulled up a picture to show him standard almond nails. He didn't even try to fix them he sent me to someone else who also couldn't do much. The second guy just lightly filed them and tried to whip out polish to paint them and I asked him not to and just to leave it without polish. I asked for the price with no polish and he said it would be $55. I was upset because the nail shape was horrendous, my nails were pointing up, and they were unevenly filed. To top it off other staff started to surround me and grill me with what was wrong when it was pretty obvious. I felt like i was being bullied when it was not my fault they did a poor job. Not once did i raise my voice or cause a scene it was an absolutely horrible experience. Finally Amy stepped in and offered to fix them. When I was walking over to Amy's booth another worker yelled "sorry they move you again" in a snarky tone. Amy did an amazing job reshaping them but since the other two had done such a horrible job there was only so much she could do. She was apologetic and I wish I had been placed with her from the start. These people are bullies and need more experience and practice ESPECIALLY the guys because I was in shock with the work.
