I wanted to make an exhaust upgrade to my classic 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix. I had purchased new mandrel bent head pipes and some aftermarket mufflers. I wanted to keep my existing tail pipes and perfectly placed exhaust tips. I needed an expert to make new mid pipes and tie it all together. Salem Exhaust was recommended to me. I made an appointment and showed up early. It was comforting to see that other classic car owners were trusting their cars here for exhaust work. They installed my parts in a couple of hours. I was pleased at the sound of my new hybrid system. About a week later. I noticed a small leak when cold. I scheduled a return visit and they took care of it no charge. They stand behind their work. My great experience with Salem Exhaust started when Brooke, the office manager, made sure they could do the job I needed so I wouldn't waste a trip. Then she was very helpful at working around my schedule to get me in. My small utility trailer had (I thought) a broken weld on the ramp's hinge. It turned out it also had a rusted-frozen hinge. Jason and Adrian removed the ramp, broke the hinge free with heat and an air hammer, wire-brushed the rust off the hinge pin and out of the hinge body, re-mounted the ramp and welded the hinge properly. They also greased the hinge to prevent a repeat of the problem. The cost was very reasonable and all of them were very friendly and helpful. Salem Exhaust is my choice for all future work. read more

The owner Jason is a very personable man. My first conversation was by phone and he was very helpful. He went out of his way to fit me into his busy schedule to check my car regarding a rattling issue near my engine. At my appt, Jason impressed me using a vehicle stethoscope! I've never seen that technique being used! Jason took his time trying to locate my problem which he did! He has gone beyond my expectations by welding a "broken weld" by extending the new weld a few inches more! I hate having car issues bc. I know nothing about cars and am at the mercy of the auto macanic. After reading reviews on here and Google I went to Salem exhaust bc I had a strange vibrating rattling noise. Jason got me in quickly and diagnosed the problem, had to order the part from his warehouse, set up an  appointed the next day to fix it. He squeeze me into his already busy schedule.
