They have a covered area where a large crowd could gather and have a cookout, gas grills supplied. Each site has a raised fire pit and nice picnic table. These would be premium sites anywhere else. Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. Blue hen falls I…read morestarted at the Boston visitor center. It's a great starting point for hiking. They have restrooms and a visitor center. I popped in before the hike to talk to a ranger about some possible options. I wanted to do the blue hen falls trail which is located across the street. The trail is 1.5 miles each way and ends at the falls. There is some elevation and stairs but I beautiful waterfall to view. Since I wanted to extend my hike a little longer I continued on the buckeye trail and was along the river part of the hike. I see a hawk fly low in the tree and several birds and frogs along the adventure.

I hiked the Brandywine Falls trail and the trail was paved and nicely maintained with steps leading down to the falls. Short 15 min 1 mile loop worth doing. Overall, the park is small but beautiful and there is no entrance fee and plenty of parking. Can be done in as little as 2 hours.
