Lastly, we enjoyed some brick oven pizza which we tried the mushroom (see photo) and traditional Boardwalk style pizzas which were absolutely delicious, light, but extremely tasty. Please do not let me forget about the welcoming service provided not only upon greeting us but continued through the meal. Each year, they curate a combination of local cheese and either honey/jam to pair with their wines, and every year, it's a hit. My favorite pairing this year involved their Pinot Rose, a delicious cheddar, and an orange ginger honey that was absolutely delightful. I parked myself at the bar and was introduced to Steven who was a retired engineer/entrepreneur who shared the history of some of the wines with me and some tastings. One of the reds was named after their international son in memory and it's always personal and valuable where a small business remembers its roots.
