Not sure what their intentions were, but steam does not fix rips. We sent photos of more rips and was determined by the manufacturer as a defect. Took a few weeks which is understandable to get an replacement, but a replacement couch was sent. Here we are again with a new couch with the same rips. Now we are being told that the rips were caused by our dog. 1st off my dogs are perimeter guard dogs and never enter the house. Again, same rips as the original couch and now they want to blame on dogs!!! This company was recommended as a local business that stand behind their product which we found out first hand is NOT true. DO NOT BUY FROM MYERS GOODS HOME & DECOR. I gave them an opportunity to keep their name untarnished, but just dismissing clear manufacture defects and blaming animals is not ok. Do they want to blame my bearded dragon and turtles too?!?! I had an instant response to a rug I inquired about. Not only that, but they organized for me to have a facetime call so I could see the rug as I was unsure about how the color would look. These guys were super nice, they rolled a number of rugs out as i was talking to them, and honored the price of a similar rug I was looking at. They sent the rug out that same day and it arrived promptly and looks amazing. 10 stars for this business wouldn't hesitate to buy again. One is popping out tomatoes and buds like there is no tomorrow and the other one, though green and growing, will not bud at all. Not giving up on it yet though. Really frustrated. If I want to lose money, I will take a chance with losing less $ at a box store. Thought the higher cost would bring better quality plant but that was not my experience. Initially I was disturbed due to the lack of help but the managers worked to get all we needed and even had their staff deliver our purchases to out home for free. I've returned a couple times although we live in Fort Mill because they looked out for us. My husband wasn't feeling well and it was taxing to have him up and down in this store but once they started helping...we were sold on this location. The manager in the paint area really know her stuff. I had purchased some paint while in the British Virgin Island and the paint job done was a disaster. She advised to use a gray primer so the red would be deeper brick color. She was spot on. The painted area came out beautiful. We needed AC for the renovation too and one staff member told us there was none because they were out of season but they existed in the store. Asking the right person got us exactly what we needed. Also on our list was window blinds which they had sourced. I went to a different store to get them while my husband went home to accompany the delivery of our items from this store. Thousands of dollars have been spent at these big box stores and it is bothersome when they treat customers like they don't matter. I'd thank the paint area manager for recognizing our needs and ensuring we got the much needed help we received.

However, they tried to deliver them on April 1st. They used a tractor trailer with a 53-foot trailer to deliver them. There was no way that would fit in my yard! Now after staying at home every day since because someone has to sign for the delivery, they still can't get my merchandise to me! When I call, they keep giving me excuses. I spent almost $800 on what I wanted. My husband took a week off work to be able to help the contractor, and still, no flooring. I asked for a refund and until it gets delivered they can't/won't give me one. Needless to say I will never trust them again and most certainly won't purchase anything else from them!

While prices here are not rock bottom, that is not their goal. They do not seek to be the lowest price ... like big box stores ... but rather they want to be the full service option. Today, when I walked in, I was greeted by two golden doodles in Christmas gear sitting by the fireplace. They have such a great variety of products year round. They must be doing something right, they've been in busy OVER 40 years!
