Working with Gonzalo at Elite Home Repairs was a great experience from start to finish. Gonzalo came and walked through our home and listened to our plans for the remodel. He offered helpful suggestions but most importantly he listened. He provided a detailed bid that was very competitive but we knew from his demeanor and communication skills that he was the right choice for us. His team was top notch and provided excellent work in a timely manner. We had a specific schedule that we needed to adhere to and from the beginning Gonzalo was honest and gave us his timeline. In the end, he finished early even with the many additional tasks we asked him to do. No hassles over change orders and all pricing throughout the process was fair. At completion we prepared a punch list and Gonzalo immediately owned all issues (all very minor) and completed the job to our satisfaction. After we moved in we have had he and his team come back for several additional upgrades we have decided to do in our home. Gonzalo made what could have been a harrowing project easy and efficient. I was…read moreinstalling Christmas lights on the edge of my roof before Thanksgiving and saw some very poor caulking on parts of my roof. I contacted this company and sent pictures to them with my complaints. I was told they would take care of it within the next week. I was contacted by the original salesman a couple weeks later asking if the repairs had been made. I told him I had not seen anyone at my house. I try to use local businesses because that is what we are asked to do. I live in Crown Colony and I will try to leave pictures of how Durdin Roofing left my roof they replaced. Places open enough for rodents to get inside my attic. I gave up on them and repaired the places myself. I tried posting pictures but I couldn't get them to past. The quality of service was the most unprofessional and below quality standards. In fact it was so bad I have video and pictures of the outcome giving Mr Jose multiple opportunities to make things right. I literally am going to spend about $800 to fix his damages and possibly more. This guy apparently hires contractors or people off the street and brings them into your property not knowing who they are nor their background and quality of work. He had two gentlemen that were arguing inside the first day and apparently he didn't know who they were. These guys told me they were hired by him and he was not prepared with any of the materials which made him late each day as he told me a specific time to be there we were all there and he never showed up till about an hour later stating that he forgot some materials and had to go to home Depot. There is plenty more to the story I have just spent two days with Jose and 12 to 14 hours each day yes that many hours my whole weekend and I lost a lot of money at this point. He did not deserve the money I ended up paying him after he left there was so much spray over damage my carpet damaged my walls I'm going to have to repaint the whole place again damaged my fans that I lend him in his crew I have no problem lending people things as it's hot or they may forget a hammer here and there but for them to destroy my fans I have paid for brand new all full of paint and overspray one of the fans is a solar power that cost me $75. That's not even a couple of months old. I've lost a lot of money have to replace new blinds the overspray was all over the windows walls door handles power cords just a horrible job. Every day he had an excuse this guy should not be a handyman nor should he be out there doing work. My experience these are facts not somebody that just made this stuff up. He also messed up our gate. He admitted he didn't know how to fix the gate. He actually ripped us off. After looking at gate he broke it more.
