I have brought my child here the past 4 years on and off. She loves the pirate ship playground. It has seen better days but she will still get on it and slide. The restrooms were relatively clean and there was a baby changing stain on the women's side. The boat launch was extra Wide and concrete instead of gravel. There was also a fish cleaning station and a place to borrow life jackets. The fishing pier was awesome for taking some gorgeous sunset photos and we saw so many birds there. Between all the swings, benches, and picnic tables, there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or watch the kids play on the playground. There were constantly people playing pickle ball, so it seems like it would be an easy place to find someone to play with. The park is non smoking and pets must be kept on leashes.

The toddler park was perfect for my little one, she didn't get bored in this park like other parks we have been to. Our favorite was the different merry go rounds, music area, pretend lemonade stand and the building blocks area, and endless areas for kids to run free and get all their energy out. Possibly the best $4 (per person) you will ever spend. We first went to the Blue hole spring near…read morethe caves, however the water was murky and brown with poor visibility. So I googled nearby springs and this recreation area came up. I was totally surprised to pull up and find that the water was super clear and blue. They have a pretty large swimming area with a diving board and slides. There is plenty of room to lay out and get sun. Also allow you to swim outside of the main area. The lifeguards were super friendly when I asked if I could swim outside the area and even told me where the underground cave was outside of the main area. Underneath the diving board is an entrance to another underwater cave. Be aware that there is a current in the main swimming area. We really enjoyed swimming/snorkeling in the area and seeing the underwater caves. It's a great value!!! I highly recommend hanging out here if you're in the area!!
