Sally needs to start secret shopping, like undercover boss. After being unsuccessful in reaching customer service, regarding a web glitch, I contacted the store. I was advised the sale price would be honored; with proof of the ad. I was told the items would be held. I get to the store, and the manager proceeded to tell me the item was not on sale. I'm addition, only 2 of 10 shades were in sale. Howeve, website didn't reflect that, and I had a screen shot reflecting that. The manager was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and attempted to intimidate by calling the police. All of this was in the presence, of my autistic daughter. I repeatedly asked for clarity, I repeatedly asked her to view my screen shot, and didnt. Then after agreeing to honor the sale price, starts ringing it up, and then changes her mind. Not only was she not honoring the sale price, she was not honoring the Buy 2, Get 1_ free promotion. When I asked what about meeting the customer's expectation, she tells me I can't purchase anything. I'm told to leave the store, and that I was BANNED from the store! I hadn't attacked anyone, I hadn't destroyed merchandise, I hadn't brandished a weapon. Then she says, if I don't leave, she was calling the cops. I ask, " Do you think, they can answer my question"..She picks up the phone and calls then, gives them my description. Yes, because I expected her to meet my expectations as a customer and do her job. As she is calling the police, I see the fear in my daughter's face. I'm so livid, and at the same time; I see the faces of folks killed recently at the hand of law enforcement. I see my epitaph saying " killed over Buy 2, Get 1 free"! I called my sister, shaking I'm so angry and tell her what is occurring. My sister begs me to leave the store, and we will handle this another way! I'm calling corporate, customer service, the board of directors, the district manager and my local news outlet. If, this manager is going to call the police in customer's seeking clarity, brand expectations of ask more questions than she cares to answer; How will the store prosper? read more
