I placed my items on the counter for her to ring them up and after giving me my total and me giving her my card I realized she had missed something. I pointed it out to her and she said oh she forgot that. No big deal. I then was on my way out the door and she asked me for my receipt because she forgot to clear it out. What ever that meant. So, I had to bring her my receipt. All the time I am very calm and no attitude at all. She says sorry. I say no problem, but can I get an itemized receipt. This is when things go all wrong. She says this is one. I say oh well I couldn't tell because the receipt was so faint. She says that's why I asked for your receipt to make it better and then she rolls her eyes and raises her voice. I said well what you said and what I said are not the same thing, so all I'm doing is asking you a question. So I proceed to tell the manager and he gets very quiet. So , I say " I thought that you may want to know what kind of customer service your customers are receiving. Again nothing but silence and then he says I'll talk to her. Okay. Well I hope that talk was about how you lost a customer for life. Every time I go I the store it is always about $100.00 spent. It's bad enough to be followed around the store the entire time that I'm shopping. All black people don't steal. Awful experience. So many other great choices in the area. That's what people forget sometimes, is that we have other options.

Walking in to Platinum Skin Care made me feel like I was Roman Royalty. There are Roman statues and columns throughout the lobby. The lady at the front desk (also the owner) was so friendly and full of excellent advice. I never once felt like she was trying to make a sale when she told me what product I needed. In fact, she even recommended a few treatments she did not have on her shelves. Although I did not stay for any services, I am most definitely interested in coming back with a few of my girlfriends!

My purchase = 2 L'oreal Volume Superstar Primer+ Extended Black Mascara which were on sale even more when I walked in the store. So instead of $10.99, my price was $6.90. MY EYES LIT UP to see the sale sign besides. My free item = 4 ounce bottle of L'oreal Infallible Pro Max extended makeup set spray A big smile on my face when checking out! Cashier "Tatiana" was very pleasant to chat with me and signed me up for my rewards, that I was given my choice of a "free lipstick". The stylists always do a good job and the cost is very fair. I am not a huge makeup girly. I do love the sol de janeir, eos, and tree hut section. Overall though, I don't really buy any makeup. We did come in today to ask a specific question for a friend. The staff was super nice about it and very helpful. She even tested the product and provided a sample. She even told us we could buy it cheaper next week as it will be on sale for 25% off which was so nice of her to do. I thought that was super awesome. She could have pushed a sale and instead offered a small sample so that she can try it at home.

If you can't train staff to be helpful to customers you won't stay open long. The location is Space #119 on the map or directory. Their slogan is: "We want you to love your Lush product." Ok I would agree if their prices weren't so high! I have never shopped in here since it opened. I Googled the name and found this nearby location. My need was to buy a luscious scented soap called "Karma" that I received on my Birthday 9/17/18. The scent contains a sweet orange and patchouli. I loved it as a gift from a family member as a mini sample bar with a hair shampoo and conditioner plus a mini hand cream as well. I've never heard of this scent, yet the thoughtful gift idea was very fresh and most comforting. Yes it lasted 6 months for my nightly use on my face, arms and hands with a fresh scent and a soft, smooth feeling before my bedtime. Walking in this small store is overwhelming with different soap products containing different ingredients to produce a unique scent. Although a customer with a tickle nose may experience a sneeze or more with allergies. I took a few photos of the fruit, herbal and sweet flavored soap scents. Soaps are sold by the # ( Pound ) yes, this is their selling policy. I counted 6 female employees working inside ready to assist customers with the many areas of shopping. There are samples, baskets or create and make one for a special occasion gift or yourself. I found my "Karma" scent which was $ 36.00 # yikes.. therefore I asked an employee to cut and weigh a slab of the soap yet please keep my cost price under $ 10.00. My check out price was $ 6.12. A well stocked store from front to back along with walls and counter areas with many different handmade creations of scented soaps, candles, creams and oils. This "Lush" store maybe comforting to shop at. But since items are sold by the pound, your credit card will add up fast or your wallet of cash will empty fast as well. Then again its for those customers or shoppers that need to see, feel, and smell for that fresh, hush, rush experience. Then afterwards have a "Lush" feeling as well ! ;)

The customer service here is great, especially for a tiny store packed with guests. It is a bit difficult to walk around because there are tight pathways, plus the insane amount of customers coming in and out. This store is always busy, and each product has a list of ingredients under it. They even helped us look for nut free products. Their website and booklet has everything you need to add things to your wishlist.
