I was checking out a product I was planning on buying and I opened the product to check the consistency to see if I needed to purchase an additional filler. When I broke the seal the employee that was standing there STARING at me stopped me rudely as if I was stealing the product i snapped back "I'm buying it" and she backed off. as I continue to browse through the store to grab another product I needed the two employees were gossiping about the stench of cigarettes lingering on other customers complaining about their smell. makes sense why no business survives in this strip mall. do better. read more

I was recommended to go to Sally Beauty Supply specifically for hair coloring needs. When I walked in I was greeted and assisted with what I needed. I have felt as though I was being watched and followed during my time in Sally Beauty Supply stores in the past, but this time, I was not comparing items/prices, I actually knew what I wanted and I got my items and left. The clerk was very helpful and asked questions and answered mine. Done and done. read more

I'm only giving this four stars cause I'm usually just running in really fast for what I need and haven't had the full experience here yet. Everyone is still very nice and always said if I need anything just called them (they gave me their names) plus I've had a really nice cashier asked if I've ever dye and bleached my hair and if I would like some advice or tips; I laughed and said no that I've been doing my own hair for about 10 years now and we go into full conversation about customer blaming the employees for ruining their own hair lol Will definitely give five stars when I have a big experience :) read more

Very nice and communicating employees so far on all of my visits. The ones I've talked to have been knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I continue to come here because the customer service is good! but I do wish they had everything that I'm looking for, In stock. When things aren't in stock it makes me leaving slightly unhappy but what can you do about it. Otherwise, love this location and employees. :) read more

Don't ever under estimate the power of good customer service! Today I went in lookin for some moisturizer for my hair (for when it's in curly big hair status) and after squeezing little samples all over my hair of different products.. was that a little ghetto?..I don't know but lets just say I was doing some comparative shopping...yeah..so I found some and went to the counter. The cashier rang me up and asked if I knew if it was on sale. After she rang me up, she said wait let me look in the paper. (I didnt even know there was a paper.) She looked and it was buy one get one free! She rang me up all over again with my two for one special! I was so excited; i felt like I won a prize! She did not have to do that. Customer service is really something that stores have forotten about. I felt sooo good because that stuff was not cheap, but ladies you know you do what you have to do for your hair. I go to this Sally's if it's more convenient, but I prefer the one at 19 & Garfield. There always seems to be too many employees working at the same time here. They're obviously bored. They try to be helpful, but it translates as hovering. I've been given too much unsolicited advice & ended up buying things I didn't really want or need just because of weird sales pressure. Went in for a toner and the "assistant manager " directed me to buy a blue one to get gold and yellow out ! Against my better judgement I figured she knew the correct way! She got confrontational about me wanting purple based opposed to blue. Guess what ? I was right I left it in for 6 min rather than the directed 10 and it made my hair blue gray ! So she can go screw herself! She has no idea what she's talking about ! At all ! A licensed salon professional in person stated I should have never been told that ! I should have known better she was like 65 and her hair looked like a skunk ! read more

My daughter (age 10) has been begging to dye the tips of her hair pink for months. Her Christmas present from grandma was money for supplies to do this. We stopped in a couple days ago. The employee who greeted us in the store was SUPER helpful! She directed us to all the right products and explained the whole process. Her professional advice was very helpful! In a world filled with paparazzi and Yelp events a girl should always look her best. What better way to do that then to swing by Sally's and pick up all your essentials! I'm kind of a snob when it comes to hair and makeup but I do love a good run to Sally's to stock up on all the other must haves. What girl doesn't have the OH CRAP I NEED BOBBY PINS moments in her life now and then. This is my local Sally's, they all have the same sort of stock I have come to notice over the years. I think what sets each Sally's apart is the seriosuly awesome employees. I have always found the gals working at this particular location to be oh so hepful and knowledgable about their products. I went in looking for a new difuser to tame my curly locks and the girls not only helped me find the best one for me but let me try it out on a dryer to make sure it worked how I wanted right in the store. I'm a sucker for folks who go above and beyond. If you need anything hair, skin, nail related and cannot get to your go to salon Sally's is the place to go. I have been coming to this Sallys for years. There is always someone to help or give an expert opinion on a product when I need it. They are always trying to help find the best deals and best product for whatever I may be in the store for. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff. They are so friendly! Definitely would, and do recommend this store to anyone. read more
