First, I'd like to acknowledge Jackson. She is awesome if Jackson is in the store when you arrive, you will get great service. She will find everything for you all keeping a big smile and having a great conversation. Jackson is a five star employee. Cleanliness of store approximately four pretty clean, sparkling, but pretty clean . Products , it seems like they are well stocked and have what they advertise. Price , everything seems to be average for what it should be possibly even a little discounted compared to the major department stores and I'm guessing better quality. Parking is a huge parking lot out there in front of Sally. It's usually full because of the restaurant next-door than that plenty of parking available. read more

I usually have very friendly and helpful workers at Sally's, but today, when I stopped by this store in the morning, that wasn't the case. The young girl working reeked of marijuana didn't welcome me or offer any help or thanked me for my purchase. I guess she was too stoned to be bothered. The very polite, slim, dark-skinned gentleman wearing a small fro working here is both knowledgeable and friendly. The shop was fully stocked, and had a LOT of great sale merch. They had more alternative colors (the Manic Panic creamtones in blue, mint green, lilac, orange creamsicle) and ion temporary metallic colors on clearance. Everytime I stop here the girls are on the phone... Grant it Im not here weekly, but Its just random that when I go I have to stand there & wait for someone to get off the phone... I have bad luck... I love their Generic line & they often have great deals & sales on tons of useful items.. The parking in this whole plaza is awkward & usually hard to find... But I do like that its never mobbed... When I visited this particular Sally store in Chelsea last Saturday I received very courteous service and patient, helpful advice in choosing the most appropriate products for my needs among the vast selection there. If you're buying a big-ticket item like clippers, Sally's prices are quite high compared to Amazon. But if you need something right away, the multitude of store locations is very convenient. Other barber/beauty products and supplies are reasonably priced, much less than buying them at the supermarket or drug store. This shopping plaza is very easy to access if you're headed eastbound on Revere Beach Parkway. If you're headed westbound however, it does require a more circuitous route to get there. In either case, it's worth the trip! read more

Update: creepy saleswomen didn't last long! Current staff are nice enough; glad to be able to pick up hair supplies at this convenient location. This was my go-to spot for hair supplies because it's right beside the Home Depot. But the women working there now are outright scary: way over-processed black and bleached white hair, no eyebrows and chipped black nails. It might be cute and edgy on an 18-yr old, but on chunky scowling matrons irritated to have to pause ranting about their landlord to check out customers...not at all. Scary. read more

ok I had not read the reviews before going there. but this place deserves its grade. the place is messy, the brands are not great professional brands. nothing for pros. i thought there would be opi gel and shellac but these are second tier brands. you are better off going to CVS or TJ maxx. the prices are not even attracive. the checkout is extremely slow too. read more
