This store has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I called about an online order and was treated rudely and hung up on. I called back and after the phone rang and rang I was put on hold (no one even said hello) and after being on hold for over 12 minutes I was hung up on again. I called back and let the phone ring for 10 minutes. No one picked up. Called again. Same thing. I will NEVER do business with this store again. I always good to this sally's cuz it's close to my house and usually they have everything i need and everything is fine. BUT this time i went in; i was looking around and I see a couple paying for their items, no issue and they leave. But after they leave the store one of the girls working the register says, "Omg it's so funny how they get embarrassed when they scan their EBT card... like... they do it really quickly as if not to show anyone... like i already know." Walked in to get one thing. Girl at the counter stood at the front desk on her phone. Didn't even look up. Another girl came from the back to ask if I needed help. I said no thank you. As I was bent down looking for what I needed, girl in the picture had came down the same isle. Didn't know she was behind me so she says excuse me as she stood right over me. Not even trying to give me room to stand back up. I walked out and went elsewhere. As I was in my car I could see all the girl that "work" there gather at the register to gossip. We have been in there a few of times, when I went in to pick my hair color I always use. I asked for help finding the additive that goes with the color, she point to a shelf. Won't help me find it, won't ever bag my products. I have to throw them in my purse. The 2 girls are rude and completely uninterested in helping me at all. I was in this location today to return a brush. The girl who handled my return for a brush was rude and obviously needs some customer service training. She asked me if I used the brush and I stated no. She continued the return and while shaking her head at me said she was going to put it as used, there is a hair in it. She should have been apologizing to me vs shaking her head at me that I had been sold a USED brush. Changed your attitude, you are rude! Manager, train this girl. Very uncomfortable shopping experience for me. I came in to browse and to price match with Mid K which is the hair store I usually go to. I was greeted and asked if I needed help, and I responded with a respectful no thank you. However as soon as I reached the back corner where the natural hair products were located I was followed by not one but TWO employees. One of the workers was a young man with shoulder length hair and two nose piercings. He stood less than 3 feet behind me and watched me as I read the labels on the back of the products. This store is run just like the company. Not organized, bad service, trouble getting answers and not to mention overpriced, I found all the same items online for a lot less. I will be cancelling my Sally beauty club card and getting on without this terribly run store and this company altogether. They will/ should be out of business soon with this kind of service. I went to this store to buy a hair piece, I know exactly what I need but I always end up waiting for the sales person. Why? Because this store has twist ties on the particular product I want. Why? Well they tell me that it is a high theft item. Im shocked because it is less than 15 dollars, so I ask why? when it is in the aisle adjacent to the registers. Then I joke a lil and say well the theives only need scissors to get to it. I mean if they really want to steal this particular item....what keeps them from doing it? oh so the clerk says "that she would catch them trying to cut the twist tie off and stop them, because its close to the register". So I say to her.."I am being inconveinced you know that right"? "Yes", she says, "Sorry". I tell her thats okay...Its really not her fault. Its my fault for going through with my purchase, again. I really only go here to get nail polish I can't get at Ulta, Seche Vite, and some of their Palladio makeup products. But other than that, I hate stepping in here. Every single time I've come in the ladies or girls working there have no welcoming bone in their body. I say hi to them and they just look at me, don't smile or say anything back, and then set right back to standing at the register or rearranging the shelves. I've tried joking with them at the register or striking up a conversation, but they aren't having it. I don't feel welcome in there and I feel like I'm a burden to them. I wish I didn't have to go in at all, but they are close by and I just try to run in and run out with what I need. read more

For a few years now and getting older I have gotten uneven streaks of gray in my moustache. Which I hate because it interrupts the shape line. So I have gone to Sally Beauty Supply to get dye to cover or fill in. I have no idea if the females working here have an knowledge or not, but I do know they are always very nice. The store it self as are all of them a pain in the ass. The isles are narrow and I mean narrow, get to big butted folks from apposing ends and one will have to turn around and come in for the other side. Or if as most often is a person leaning down to read a produce, forget moving for a few minutes. But other than that it is a fine supply joint. read more

I was out of the state when I got a phone call from my hysterical 16 year old daughter. Apparently, she and her friend had decided to color their hair and it turned into a disaster. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that this happened to be the day of a formal dance at her school. My daughter had walked to Sally's to try to figure out what to do. I told her to just ask the person working there to help. This girl helped my daughter find exactly what she needed to correct the problem. She was sympathetic and very kind and helped to save the day! Couple that with one of my very best friends stepping in like a fairy godmother and my daughter had a fantastic time at the dance...and she looked beautiful. :) read more

The employees here are not helpful and love to follow you around the store like you are stealing all their products. Once you're done it's a burden for them to ring you up.
