I recently visited this SBS via a friend of mine's recommendation. Because I wanted to pay with cash, I told the cashier that I would be back in a couple of hours to purchase a "membership" ($5) and several other products. The membership would allow me to purchase SBS products at their discounted rates. I returned 2 hours later, still dressed in the same clothing, and the cashier acted like she had never seen, nor spoken to me. This was REALLY odd since there was no one in the store when I was there before and no one there, but her, when I returned. Was her memory THAT bad or was she on drugs? I spent over $100 dollars and didn't even receive a "thank you for your patronage". If this is their version of customer service, I will be shopping at other locations of SBS. I was at Sally's on Nov 5. Cashier was wearing her mask under her nose. I explained that I was immune compromised and would like her to cover her nose. She refused and stated that she had problems breathing when she covers her nose. read more

I would give less than one star if I could. The salesperson asked if I needed help, I said no and after looking at products for maybe 2minutes she asked me again. I assume she thought I was trying to steal based on her attitude so I explained to the salesperson that I was trying to decide between 2 pigment lifting products both of which I have tried before. Both products that I was contemplating are guaranteed to be non-damaging and couldn't be over-processed. Rather than helping me decide between the pigment lifting products I was debating, she suggested I buy a different product- available online only (not through Sally's). When I made it clear I was looking to make an in-store purchase she recommended a different "cheaper" version of the product that could be found in-store. The sales-person who "helped" me (I think her name is Malory- short blondish hair and flappy earlobes) recommended a product to me that she promised was non-damaging and could not be over processed. Because I am not a professional stylist I took her advice and bought the product. I read and followed package directions but because I was told it couldn't over process, I didn't check frequently enough and by the time I realized she had sold me bleach lightener instead of pigment lifter my hair was already damaged beyond repair. I went from 18+ inches to a pixie. I hope this girl gets fired and goes bald, should not be working in a customer service field. read more

A hair-stylist/friend of mine recommended i stop by Sally's. I don't know much about beauty products. As a man, I've not had to learn much about these things. So when I went to buy the first straightener I've ever bought, I was pleased to receive some help from the ladies working that shift (Sunday, 6/15, 4:15 pm) on which ones they preferred and why. Both ladies were friendly and happy to help. I tried the straightener this morning and it worked perfectly. My hair is straight and not fried, and I only paid $26. Not bad at all! Friendly faces, reasonable prices, overall positive experience. I would definitely go here again for any beauty products needs. read more

Normally I love coming to Sallys, I'm even a membership card owner. Have been for years. However here lately Noone gets service we stand around while employees walk right past us. Whatever I always mark it down to it being busy. Today I was the only one in the store, I stood at the section to get my extentions where there is a clear view of the office. Normally I'd ask for help but just to see what would happen I stood there and waited for the lady in the office to notice me. When she finally got up I assumed she would come right to me. The bell rang when I walked in surely she knew some one was unattended in her store for ten minutes. Then I watched as she smelled product literally 3 ft away in the same aisle, she looked up I smiled waited for her to ask me if I needed help nope. Instead it took another five minutes for her to ask rudely if I had a question. When I responded that I just needed the extension she replied oh shit. I curse too lady but there's a time and place this wasn't one. I then had to show her which one I needed twice. When she checked me out she never said a word didn't ask for my Sallys card which I have her. 31 dollars and bye was all I got out of this lady. Also wish I could tell you her name but she didn't have a name tag. She has dark curly hair looks late 30s slider and has a bad additude. If I was the owner I'd be appalled and if I was able to I wouldn't give any stars. I used to love this place but if it keeps going down hill like this I'll find a new place to give my money. read more
