This is a review in the hair stylist Kymberley: I loved my hair cut and color. The first time I went in, the color was absorbed at the roots more (she explained that some people have warmer scalps and will cause the roots to absorb more color). A few days later I called to see if she will correct that - and she fit me in the next day. She takes pride in her work and will work with her clients. She also understood what I wanted/needed more than myself. My hair cut is super low maintenance as I don't own a hair dryer ... And rarely even brush my hair (it's already straight). My color is unique and professional for work. Kymberley is super sweet and pleasant to talk to. Also... my hair feels better and softer after she dyed it (twice) - I have no idea how that happened. I went over the salon on my lunch break to check it out and see if anyone could fix that mess. I talked with the receptionist she asked me to wait, and then she came back with Araceli. I schedule a time to come back the next day and she not only fix my hair she made it look amazing. For the past 5 years, Araceli has executed every single one of my requests with perfectionism. I'm rating Hair and Now a 5, but please understand this is based off experience with only one stylist. My wife and I both go to Alissa Sappe who totally rocks. Great prices, fast and thorough. She always shampoos my hair, which is a major plus when going back to work afterwards. (This was a hit and miss when visiting cheaper Great Clips style salons.) Alissa has always been on time. This location is real close to the DTC, so I can get there, get my hair cut, and back to work in under an hour. Plus, every time I visit, her hair is dyed a different color. I get to look forward to something new and sometimes she matches her hair to her clothes. It's pretty sweet. read more

Kimberly (Carter) has been doing my hair for about 6 months now. She gave me some highlights when I was desperate and a great healthy cut. I don't usually do anything very different than the usual highlight and cut but being 9-months pregnant I wanted something that I would not have to worry about when baby comes. Tara is awesome! She is the first hairstylist that was able to recreate a style that I showed her from a picture and make it look even better than the picture. I had an appointment today at 11am with ARACELI PANTOJA. I arrived at 10:50. No one acknowledged me when I entered. I sat in the waiting area and saw my stylist coloring someone else in her chair. I waited. At 11 (my scheduled time) I saw ARACELI walk to the back. I continued to wait until 11:20 at which time I went and stood up at the EMPTY front desk. Finally, another hair stylist asked me what I needed. I said I had a scheduled appt at 11 with Araceli. He went looking for her in the back room. Finally she came back up front and asked me if I had an appt. I told her yes, with her at 11am. She then said I should have texted her!!! I was sitting in the waiting area in front of everyone in the salon!! Ridiculous!!! Not once did she apologize. I won't be back. My time is worth more than their rude service. read more

This place is awesome! The owner herself was so accommodating for a new client (I was basically a walk-in, even...) and stayed past the time she was supposed to, just to take me in, do a colour consultation, bleach part of my hair for an ombre, and then did the colour. It was a long day, and a long process, but not once did her enthusiasm fall off, and she was very attentive to my wants and how I was doing. She seemed disappointed that my hair didn't take to the colour quite as much as she had hoped, but I was honestly in love, and so very happy with my first colouring experience. Regarding the rest of the facility, everyone seemed upbeat and happy - customers and workers alike! There was a lot going on; you could tell at a glance that Saturdays are wildly busy, but everyone seemed to love it. I'll definitely be back for more colour AND for some of the other many services they provide, even though it takes quite a bit of travel time for me! I was assured by Anya that she can do color and she had persuaded me to come and let her do it. I had also agreed to allow her to cut my very long hair but only an inch because I like it long. All I wanted was my roots to match the same color of my hair and a tiny trim for the dead ends. When she rinsed the color out of my strawberry blonde hair my roots were the color of the clown Ronald McDonald. I instantly asked to have it corrected and suggested to skip the cut so we would have time in between clients and address the real problem. She assured me it could be fixed and have time to cut. Well the color is still Ronald McDonald and she did a hack job on my hair and took all the length that I have been growing for a year. I asked for color correction or refund so that I could get it color corrected and she absolutely refused both. She stated that she does not have a refund policy but there is no policy posted anywhere in the salon that I could see but would not correct the color. I am so sickened and disheartened that Anya ruined my hair and is not being held accountable or taking any pride in her work to allow me to walk around in public hiding behind hats with bright red roots. Anya also asked a colleague how to correct the color while I was there. read more

Well I made a last minute appointment.. I haven't had my hair cut in nearly a year and it needed it badly! This place had decent reviews so I was excited to go in, however.. the lady was quite nice but the haircut was not. She insisted on doing a dry haircut with hair clippers/buzzer. When I got home and washed it, the layers are so choppy and I had long pieces that she clearly missed. My bangs were super uneven too. All in all this is the worst haircut I've had in my 36 years of being alive. I was so excited for a fresh change and instead I look like a blind person cut my hair! I hate it and will never be back.. I gave this salon a chance because of its good reviews, but I now regret coming here and I will never be returning! Lauran was my stylist. I asked her to slightly lighten my roots so that they would blend in to the rest of my hair when red dye was added (my hair is naturally black and dyed to a dark wine red color). Lauran decided to bleach my roots to a bright yellow color! Realizing that she was bleaching my roots to a bright blonde, I asked her to immediately stop and fix how bright and unnatural my roots now looked. The bleach was really stinging my scalp, I knew this was bad news and she needed to wash it out immediately. She offered to dye my roots to a dark red to match my hair. I don't understand why she didn't offer that in the first place. After she added the dark red color to my roots, my hair looked better. She charged me $92 for the bleach and the red dye, unbelievable. I went home and took a shower, and most of the dark red dye essentially washed off my hair, revealing the uneven bleach on my roots. I also noticed a giant patch under my hair that had not even been touched by color at all! How does a hair stylist miss that!? I was upset and called Lauren to have her fix my hair a few days later, which she attempted to do free of charge. Unfortunately as soon as I washed my hair again, the ugly, uneven bleached roots become apparent. I'm now looking for a new hair stylist to color correct my hair and fix what Lauran did to my roots. Do NOT come here if you want your hair done correctly. You will find yourself spending more than you had originally expected just repairing the damage done to your hair by this place. read more

She barely said two words to me except "come on back" & "thanks, have a good day" after I paid & tipped her. I lost count of the number of times she stopped what she was doing on me (foiling, cutting & drying) to text on her phone. Not at all how I anticipated my first visit there to go. I would've spent over $50-60 on hair product but due to her lack of personality, I'll buy those same products elsewhere. Customer service is huge this day & age. I got a Groupon for a Brazilian wax here and although I really wanted to like her work because she was offering a good deal for more waxes, I will not be back. The pros: Easy to find, convenient and free parking, friendly esthetician, reasonable cost for future waxes The cons: No receptionist (the stylists all rent spots, so no one welcomed me or pointed out where the waxing was done--I felt pretty lost and ignored until the esthetician finally came out). She seemed inexperienced--the wax was by my feet, so I got strings of wax all over my legs; she pulled the wax before it was completely set so that hurt like a mother; and she barely put any tea tree oil on my area when she was done (it seemed like an afterthought). My biggest qualm though, is the fact that she simply wasn't thorough. I got all the way home and realized I had MANY hairs left in less-than-desirable areas, which defeats the purpose of getting a Brazilian wax. I'm leaving on a trip, so did not have the time to drive back down and insist that she fix it, but really, I shouldn't have to do that in the first place. So maybe turn the lights up in the room so you can actually see what you're doing, and make sure all the hairs are gone and/or show the customer a mirror so they can see down there and be satisfied (it's not like they were light-colored or hard to see) before you send customers home. read more
