I explained what I was needing and how pointed me in a few directions with a few products. He also gave extremely helpful suggestions since my color didn't come out quite right, and he gave me pointers to help it out. While this is a fairly small Sally Beauty, they usually h ave what I need in stock. I tend to place orders online for order pick up, if it's something I've planned for ahead. My orders are normally done within an hour or two. The employees are usually pretty friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking as the lot is huge. I placed an order for pick up at this location via mobile app and I received my email that three out of my five items were ready. This had me confused because I placed all my items to be picked up at this location at the same time. I think there was an issue with the app because it stated for two of the other items to be picked up in store, but the address that they had was my own home address. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, but I was told that she was at lunch. That was at around 12 PM. I called an hour later to speak to the manager and was told that she was still at lunch and to call back at 2 PM. I called the customer service line because I was impatient with waiting. I spoke with the representative and told him my issue and he stated that I could tell the workers at the store and that they would just provide me with the items if they had it in stock I checked on the app and they do I called back the store location and asked to speak with the manager and the worker on the phone was telling me to call the customer service line and that this was something that they cant help with since I ordered on the app. It just seemed like the manager did not want to speak with me. I told them that I already spoke with the customer service line and that I was told to call the store and when I told her that she finally handed the phone to the manager the manager was giving attitude unfortunately I did not get her name. Long story short we resolve the issue. I picked up my items, went home and look in my bag and got the wrong developer when I asked for 30 they gave me 20. I checked on the app and they do have the 30 developer in stock. It just seems like this place is not professional and does not do a good job at double checking the items. read more

This is the second time I've come to this store during business hours and it's been locked with the lights off. Hours are posted on the door, came by about 10:15 on a Monday (opens at 10) and nobody was there so I shopped down the way at Ulta for a bit, came back... still nobody. Waited in my car for another few minutes just in case but nope! Finally left around 10:45. The first time I brushed it off as usually I see only one person working and I get that things happen... but coming today and having it be closed again ughhh The times when I have shopped, though, Ive had a fine experience. Employees are casual and friendly enough, the store is clean, I can always find what I need.... Not my usual location to go to but I was in area and wanted to take advantage of their sale. I always come here for specialty shampoos for different hair colors I try out. It is the only store where I can find the purple shampoo and conditioner for blonde colors. And red conditioner for burgundy. I saw the sale online, and I thought I could go into the store to take advantage of it but the sale wasn't in the store. I ended up getting what I needed during their black friday sale. All the locations are pretty small but jammed packed of all your hair care needs. I get my heat styling tools here too. Overall I don't come here often, but when I do they always have what I need. Parking is plentiful here, it is in the Clairemont shopping center. read more

I like this particularly Sally's store. It's located in a large strip mall with plenty of parking. Parking is never an issue. The product assortment is tremendous. They offer a vast array of hair as well as nail care merchandise. Brand products are always on sale at Sally's. Products are constantly in stock at this location. Additionally, the aisle are clean, organized and free of debris. Signage is visible, clear and accurate. Sally's always has outstanding deals and savings. The sally card is an brilliant investment since it offers additional savings with each purchase. I'm all about saving!!! read more

Well I just left this location and it was ROUGH yet again. Let's start with Mackenzie. She had a really hard time looking up my past orders. Any other Sally's I've gone to have been such a pleasure to work with and they also walk me over to the aisle and volunteer to grab the items because I have no clue where anything is. Mackenzie on the other hand would just wave her hand and say, oh yeah it's over there somewhere.... I walked back and forth twice because I wasn't sure if what i grabbed was right. As I'm in the aisle looking for what I need, Lorelei stops what she's doing on the floor in another aisle and walks over to Mackenzie complaining about something that was "bullsh1t" which was very unprofessional especially when there are customers in there. I just don't understand why customer service has gone so far down the drain. read more

Sally Beauty is one of the few places I can go to to find hair products for women of color. I was greeted when I entered and found my items fairly quickly. However there were only two cashiers and they were helping other customers. I did have a couple of question however there was no one available to speak with. When I went to the cash register it was empty since the cashiers where helping customers. I stood there waiting while another customer entered the store and was also waiting in line. We stood there for about 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged by the staff. When the cashier was finally finished with the customer who did not make a purchase she came to the cash register. I can't say I have ever had a great experience at this location. Unfortunately it is the closest place for me to find hair products. AMAZING STAFF!! I've been a customer for over 14 years & I have never encountered such a knowledgeable staff as this location. Seriously, whoever hired this manager needs a promotion. The manager really is the one who helps me so much! She actually has hair training! I know that sounds obvious but most locations seems like they just hire a warm body. No this store is awesome. I recently had a hair-tasteophe & the store manager was able to help me identify isolate & treat the problem... When even the DOCTOR couldn't!! Just wanted to give the girls in this store 5 stars for being professional and trying to remain cordial while some of the other customers were being rude and annoying. Wow! Angelica the new manager is above and beyond amazing! She helped me out to get the products I needed for my pigment coloring, she was on it! Multi tasking without losing track of anything, I was so happy to purchase more products and I'm for sure coming back to take advantage of the deals they have right now. I have never met anyone as hard working and pleasant as Angelica, she really takes an interest in what you need, gives you great tips and advice. I am extremely disappointed with the store managers (CHINA is her name) lack of professionalism, hostility and open aggression displayed to me. I am a 20 year loyal client and own a well established chain of salons. I was shopping for an item for my business and a young lady mentioned she wished she had a hair dresser to fix her color issues she created by coloring own hair. I gave her my card and join checkout the store manager told me in an aggressive way "don't steal my customers you can't give a business card in store you need to stand outside". This is ABSURD and unprofessional and OUT OF LINE. She was sloppy, disrespectful and taking a business conversation personally accusing me of stealing a client who was ready to buy $20 worth of boxed dye that would RUIN HER HAIR BASED ON THE FORMULA SHE CHOSE. omg beauty junkie galore!!!!!! it's a small store but it has lots of hidden treasures! i have only been there once to buy some nail polish and makeup brush. They have a large selection of nail polish and nail art supplies (although evil-bay is cheaper), hair colours, wigs, any and all types of hair product you can dream of! make sure to bring cash... they accept credit cards but last time their printer/computer crashed so i got a old school big huge sheet of paper printed with the transaction instead of a regular receipt... oh and join their Sally club, you'll get discounts and easily make up for the $5 to join. read more

So I did what a lot of girls do and was impulsive and bleached my dark dark dark hair and now it's orange! So I went to Sally's to get some supply and a consult and the sweetest person helped me! Her name is Melissa and apparently she did the same thing and she knew the panic I was going through and she helped me so much! I will never go to this particular Sally Beauty Supply again! The employees are rude and have lousy customer service skills. I purchased a silk wrap kit, and when I got home and opened the package I found out it was a display only kit. The glue was dried up, and the bottle of activator was empty. One would think the employees would be aware of this. I returned it to the store and told the sales person they should be more aware of letting customers leave with a display only item, and when I asked to be compensated, you would have thought I was asking for a million $. Came in today for the first time. I went on the website because I was looking for clip on bangs for a costume. I walked in and was greeted by both ladies at the cashier. Brianna was helpful in finding what I wanted and it was even on sale! I looked around the store for a few items and they have cheap hairbrushes, combs and even nail polish. A lot was on clearance so I would definitely look here first if I needed spray bottles or anything than at Target or CVS. read more
