Came in this sweet shop where there were lots of options (who knew) how many clean products are out there. It's a small shop where you get personalized advice from very knowledgeable sales staff. Prices were a bit high but the upside is you get to try them before you buy. Unlike online shopping if you're not familiar with the product you take a chance when you order with hopes that you like it. Lots of options, lots of loyal neighborhood folks stopping by which tells you a lot about a small business community. Parking is a challenge in this area. read more

Just had a back facial with Stossi and am over the moon. What an amazing and relaxing experience. Stossi was so warm, welcoming, and immediately made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, and you could tell every step was thoughtful and intentional. I had the sculpt facial, I heard about this place on Instagram and used their referral code but for some reason I realized I was charged full price, which is a bummer hopefully I can use the code at a different time. I did my facial with Daiana - she was amazing and had such good energy. The spa area was spotless. I have eczema and Daiana listened to my concerns. It was so relaxing that I was falling sleep. The buccal massage was amazing (I hold a lot of tension in my jaw). Great massage if you have TMJ. To warn ya, this facial is expensive but worth it for a treat yourself moment. For health reasons, I am not able to use conventional beauty products. As such, I'm not your typical shopper for said items. I was delighted to find a local business whose entire focus is on clean beauty. When I say clean, nothing in the store is above a 2 on the EWG list. I started with just some skin cream because I had an event the following week. While in the store, I met Enrique, who let me know that not only do they sell makeup, but they also do makeup. I promptly made an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, he was ready for me. He did ask what I liked or disliked. I told him my allergies and that I trusted him and he should do what he thinks. Bear in mind that I wear make-up once a year. I decided to book a facial VERY last minute - literally the night before. I had never been here before, so I did not have an esthetician preference. I ended up getting Ashley, and it was great. Ashley has only been working here for 2 months, but I would have never guessed that if she did not tell me. I got the super clear facial ($175) and my skin felt super clear after - let me tell ya! I don't have problem skin, but Ashely somehow managed to make me feel even more confident after our session. She was able to talk me through everything that she was doing and I really felt like she cared. She asked about my normal routine before the session, because every facial and treatment is unique to your needs. I was very relaxed and comfortable during the session. Afterwards, we went to the lobby and covered all of the products that were used. They were all written down, in the scenario that I decided to come back and purchase later. I loved how I didn't feel obligated, persuaded, or pressured to buy anything. I learned a lot from Ashley and ended up purchasing some items + Christmas gifts. I love all natural products even though they're usually expensive but you get what you pay for! So I was hanging in North Park and came across this store which also does facials in the back. A lot of the products here are from local companies. I love when businesses support each other and that's what they're doing here. This is a place you need to check out because they have beauty products, health products along with some other stuff. I picked up some all natural lavender eucalyptus deo and it smells really good. Today I made a strong effort to support a local business in a neighborhood I adore. I have frequented this establishment several times; I actually have a profile in their system of products purchased. I've also recommended the establishment to friends who have a love for clean beauty. My cousin spent hundreds of dollars on Agent Nateur products, at my behest. I was absolutely appalled and offended when I went in to purchase items before I left on vacation - so, many errands to run all day - and was refused to use their bathroom as they are "only allowed for their spa clients." WTF? I'm a frequented, paying customer! I didn't just stumble in off the streets asking to use your facility!! I was a customer when they were located on North Park Way! The workers are the epitome of indignant, snobby elitist and obviously believe they're better than you, minus the darling young lady w long black hair who was the only non-Caucasian working there and has always been attentive. Maybe I wasn't white enough to use the bathroom? Did they think I'd miss the seat or something? I walked out and will not be returning and will be making sure to tell my friends and acquaintances to go elsewhere. I cannot believe I fought for parking to support this local, small business. I was referred to Shop Good by a dear friend of mine who has become a huge fan of their services and products. I mentioned to her that I needed to develop a better skin care routine. She asked if I've ever had a facial, and I hadn't. She said "oh my god, make an appointment with Shop Good." She advised me to schedule a free consultation online, which I did. I set it up with Ashley in North Park and we did a video call to talk about my skin goals and routines. From that, I set up a treatment day and she had an opening a couple of weeks out. I took it! She sent me the confirmation and some early recommendations for products that might be useful for me based on our call in case I wanted to start a routine before our session. On the day of treatment, I went in a few minutes early to shop around the store and look for the items she had recommended. Masks required in the store, of course. She was there and ready for me with the treatment room all set up. The store is very clean and the treatment room was beautiful and relaxing. Ambient light and music were a nice touch, as was the heated table to lay on. As I had never done one of these treatments I was a little nervous. Ashley took all of that nervousness away in the first 60 seconds of being in there with her. The facial treatment: wow! She used so many different techniques and treatments, leaving my face feeling so very refreshed at the end. I believe I had two (or three) masks one of which she said was like a green smoothie for my face. She also worked on some extractions I had and relaxed me even further with a face massage. Ashley is incredible! Products: when we finished the treatment, she helped me check out the products and she said she recommended all of the same ones she previously did, with one exception. She noted that my skin might be more sensitive than we originally predicted and that I could benefit from a gentler face wash. She sent me home with a face wash solution and toner spray from Botnia and a moisturizer cream and matcha mask from Berlin skin. I've been very happy with the products in my routine at home and she also showed me how to apply the products most effectively. Thank you so much Ashley!
