I booked online and even added the deep conditioning treatment and head massage because I wanted the full experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of my expectations. When I arrived, there was no greeting or welcome, just someone eventually looking up to check me in. The waiting benches were also surprisingly uncomfortable, with the window ledges digging into my back. Once I was taken back, there was almost no communication. No "Is this your first time here?", no explanation of the process, no confirmation of the services I'd booked, and not even a quick check that the water temperature was comfortable. I also wasn't turned toward the mirror during the service, so I couldn't even see what was being done. The salon was unusually quiet overall, with very little interaction between stylists and clients, which made the atmosphere feel a bit impersonal. To make matters worse, my stylist realized only at checkout that she had forgotten to perform both of the add-on services I had paid for. She did issue me a credit after speaking with her manager, but since I had booked those services specifically for that visit, a future credit didn't really make up for the missed experience. The blowout itself was perfectly fine, but that's only part of why people book appointments like this. Most people can dry their own hair at home; the value is in feeling cared for, relaxed, and a little spoiled. I walked in excited for a special treat after a difficult few weeks and walked out feeling more disappointed than refreshed.

So I was excited when she invited me today! And now I am hooked. When we arrived the reception area was a little busy but I was greeted within a few minutes and the receptionist were super friendly. I waited about 12 minutes for my stylist to come get me from the waiting area. We started off with my hair being brushed and then we went to the washing bay where my stylist washed my hair and massaged my scalp. It felt so good!!! You can do an add-on, 15-minute massage, but you need to book that when you make the reservation. When she was done washing we went to the dry bar area and my stylist brought me a water and a small glass of champagne Your stylist will then style your hair based on the signature style you most like. I did a combination of Cosmo in Southern comfort. It looks so nice!! She did exactly what I asked for . I cannot wait to go back. I just wish there was a location closer to Georgetown. That's definitely a franchise investment opportunity. But until then, I will be making some frequent trips to the domain.

The first time, I went with one of my…read morefriends for a manicure, and they were set up for pedicures, but that got fixed right away before we even picked out colors. The second time was perfect, and they did a great job on my nails. When I got home, I accidentally messed up a nail opening the door, and they even let me come back and fixed it for free, which was super nice and unexpected. They obviously go above and beyond for clients. I also love how close they are to me, and they have really nice decor. Would definitely recommend.

The odd thing was, when I arrived there was nobody getting pedicures so it shouldn't have been a problem. Yet, she mentioned it again when my granddaughter arrived, and then again when we were paying. That aside, my pedicure was dismal. I had to keep asking to have the skin trimmed around my nails, and my granddaughter did not get a leg and foot massage from her person, even though we booked the same service. One of my friends told me a while back that she tried to schedule an appt with a "Jenny something" in RR, but couldn't because Jenny was booked 3 months out. In my skeptical mind, I was like she can't be that good only because I don't put that much effort into my hair and was never going to wait 3 months for an appt. Well, recently I was contacted by a Jenny T for a macaron order via IG. When I was reading the message from Jenny requesting the order, I happened to be over at that friend's house for dinner, and honestly, blurted out "does anyone know a Jenny T?" My friend immediately said, that's who I tried to make an appt with!! And guess what, I was in desparate need of a redo of my hair color. I colored my hair for the first time ever a few months ago, and it did not go well, I was disappointed and stuck with a color I never wanted! I've been procastinating the redo because I didn't have faith in anyone getting the color I wanted originally. I took a leap of faith and asked Jenny whether she can fix my hair and if by any chance, she is availabe before my wedding date in May. She scheduled me in 3 weeks later after I asked. She took care of my hair for 3.5 hrs, cleaned up the mess (I should say blended it in), got really close to what I wanted with a foilyage. Note that what I wanted couldn't be achieved on the first or second try because my hair is really dark to begin with. I wanted to go really light ashy gray. But I do love the color she did for my hair, my hair now has personality. My friends loved it when I sent them the photos. They have been asking me when I was going to redo the previous disaster. If you are going to drop this much money on your hair, do it with someone talented who cares about the quality of her/his work.
