Went here for a perm and they fried my hair then refused to give me a refund because obviously if my hair is fried there no perming it again and Glenda or whatever her name is was horrible will not be back and unless you want horrible fried damaged hair then don't go here. Worst experience ever. Mary ruined my hair. I have so much breakage on my ends from her ripping the hair apart. I told her she was hurting me but that didn't change the way she was yanking my hair around. I told her I wanted more brown throughout and to leave my natural blonde on the tips. ONLY the tips. I never said I wanted high lights or to keep my blonde at the top. She tried to disagree when I said I wanted to go darker but then I showed her more pictures of a reverse balayage and she acted like she knew what to do. When I was done, I wanted to start crying but didn't want to cause a scene so I left not knowing what to do. I called back a couple hours later and asked the owner if I could have my money back and she was very defensive and said no. She did offer to fix it but I can not risk my hair being damaged anymore. read more

We were very disappointed in our services. We are from out of town, attending a wedding, and we wanted to come get styles and curls. There was 4 of us all together. Extremely over priced. One girl they charged $95 for a "evening style" when all they did was curl the hair. The stylist didn't even ask my sister what she wanted when she wanted beach curls. She blew dried her hair straight. Not even in a blow out & charged her $60 for straight blow dried hair. We're so confused. My family is hair stylist so we understand pricing and how things works. My sister in law, same thing, didn't even ask her what she wanted and blew dry it pin straight. There was a problem with the check out system at the end and my sisters stood there for 10 minutes while the owner showed her clients her new espresso martini recipe, ignoring them, knowing that we were on a time crunch. She was also drinking while at the salon by the end slurring her words. We called the salon to let them know we were unhappy and the older lady who answered told us we can come back and fix it. We told her multiple times that we had to go to a wedding and she continued to argue with me and telling me to come back. So disappointing when we were so excited to get our hair done for a family wedding. We would like refunds for this terrible experience read more

I took a gamble on this place for a couples' massage in celebration of the hubby's birthday and... I won! I was a bit nervous as it's a very small local salon and spa with a hipster vibe. I was even more nervous when they escorted us up a small flight of stairs (get it? "The Spa Above"), but that was the end of the nerves for me! From the scheduling of the massages to the rendering of services, these girls were professional, friendly, and detail oriented! More like a 4.5* then a basic 4*. I was a little apprehensive when I first arrived. The place was EMPTY except us, so justifiable so me thinks! My masseuse was excellent. A through body massage which included warm damp towels for my feet, chest & shoulders. Delivered a professional service all the way around. For my facial, again...professional service all the way around. Very through & complete & well done! The only down side is the facilities were as luxurious as I would have thought. However they worked for me albeit a little on the small side...whereas I'm NOT a little on the small side at 6'5". I definitely go again but will likely not go to Daytona again. read more

i regret going to this place! I am not from Daytona and I needed a root touch up.I went in as a blonde to have a root touch up and came out with black hair!! I'm extremely upset!! Jade is the one that ruined my hair!! I have spent over 1500$ dollars processing my hair to blonde and after one visit for a simple root touch up with Jade my hair is black!! I'm crying! I hate my hair !! I would never recommend going to see Jade! she doesn't know what she is doing! when she was applying the hair color to my hair, she did not use a brush but instead used her finger to color my hair And left hair color on my skin that stained all over my face after she rinsed my hair I told her that my hair looks really dark and that all my blonde is gone. she then tried to tell me that my hair wasn't blonde before I came in to have a root touch up! Jade and the owner treated me terrible and as if they could care less about ruining my hair and on top of it they still charged me! Now I have to go to a real professional to have my hair corrected that's going to cost me $ that I would have not otherwise had to spend if Jade did not ruin my hair! I have traveled all over the world, and nothing has toped the exceptional release of stress, tension and muscular discomfort I received during my 45 minute session with Jessica. Room temperature was perfect; the table was well-prepared; the private room led into a private bathroom for personal comfort before & after my massage. I just moved here and needed a hair dresser, I was nervous about finding one because I have curly hair. Iast minute I decided to fix my rats nest of what I called my hair. I called salon 230 an hour before they closed. The lady on the phone was very nice and said I could come In spite the fact they were closing soon. I showed up and they took me right away... long story short one of the best salon experiences iv ever had. I went from long curly hair past my sholder to a very short A- simetrical cut. I was having the worst two weeks before my birthday, with throwing my back out for the first time and experiencing a breakup I opted to get a massage here. I couldn't be more happy about that decision! I came in and had an hr massage and facial with Trudy. Let me start by saying "wow." I've been to quite a few high end massage salons and my experience here at 230 was one of my very top listed! I'm immediately greeted at the door by my name, told happy birthday and then was lead up a candle lit stairway to the room id be receiving my relaxation in. The place was so clean and inviting. Trudy really took good care of me. I never had to ask her to lighten up or add more pressure and it stayed consistent the whole duration of the massage. She really pinpointed areas in my back and asked about my activities to further help untie those knots. She didn't speak too much so I could really enjoy myself yet she spoke just enough to break the ice and make the feeling more comfortable. I felt like my friend or a close ain't were giving me a shoulder rub. Ha. The facial was wonderful. Never at any point did anything hurt or get in my eyes. You can go to nearly any salon and get a massage and facial. What really mattered here was the service I received. I recommend this place and I will be going again. read more

Amy had several positive things said about her, so that's who my mom requested. I tagged along to help. Amy went above and beyond to get an understanding of my mom's current hair routines, and really made sure my mom could handle the cut she gave her. She asked tons of questions and really took time to listen. Even better is that she actually showed my mom how to do her hair right there. She handed my mom a brush and showed her how to dry her hair properly. She also suggested several products my mom should use based on her hair type. She knows what she's talking about for sure. Had an appointment for a blow-out with Jerrica Reno. She had a little extra time, and asked if I'd like a trim too, at no extra charge. I showed her a picture of Michelle Williams short, layered look, and she looked at my long hair, and said, Are you sure? Jerrica gave me a make-over, and took my long hair (from the center of my back) above the chin like a pro! I was so happy with my transformation and Jerrica's detail and precision in cutting. Sooooo this hairstylist started on the back of my hair and didn't realize how much hair I had. WITH BLEACH. and the bleach was on the back of my head for a solid 2 hours...
