EDIT: Sera called me back an hour after leaving saying how sorry she was mad wanted to know if we could come back in and they did it for free! I tipped the lady I wish I remembered her name she was so kind to my daughter! Just wish they would've done it while we were there! But it all worked out! Booked online for my daughters hair cut for 2 pm and got 2 emails at 12:42 pm saying is was accepted by Seta, we went 30 mins early because we got done eating, my daughter had to use the restroom, Seta got defensive as if I was lying because she didn't confirm anything! I showed them the email but they turned us away, they stated that Seta didn't set it up right and she goes how about I call you some other time if I have an opening! We drove 30 mins to this appointment for nothing and even though They messed up they still pushed us out the door! Worst costumer service! read more

Seta did an amazing job. I came in with washed out color in three shades. I was too blond and wanted to go back to my original color with highlights. It is a nice shade of dark brown with beautiful even highlights, She spent a lot of time and made sure I was picking the color I wanted. I take my hair seriously and had blonde partial bayalage done by Lisa Marie at Salon 705. Lisa was so amazing! She really listened to exactly what I wanted and followed through flawlessly. We moved here from out of state so I had my hair done some where else 2x previously and I was disappointed. Lisa was friendly, down to earth, definitely knew her stuff, was courteous of time management and the price was manageable. Salon 705 was clean and easy to get to. just relocated to Tampa area from North Carolina & I was in the need of getting my hair highlighted, so I read reviews & decided to try this salon. I reached out to one of the stylists, Hannah, as I had seen some of her highlights on others online & scheduled an appointment. I had sent her a photo of my hair, and when I arrived at my appointment on Monday I showed her one of her clients hair colors that I liked & I also gave her the info on the color my hair stylist in NC used on me, told her to decide which was best, she never went over ANYTHING with me, in fact she didn't speak much in my entire 3 hour appointment (I've never had a PARTIAL hair highlight take 3 hours) at this point I was concerned, I had read the pricing on salon 705 website and partial highlights started at $85 - I was charged $240!! She butchered my husbands hair in a 5 minute cut, it's gapped all over and he's probably going to shave his head. She spent 3 hours adding foils to ONLY the top part of my hair and charged a total of $240! I almost fell over. I've never paid this for my hair in my life. My husband and I just paid it and left, we both felt sick and so I texted Hannah and asked for a breakdown of a receipt, which she sent me a receipt that only said $240, so I had no idea what she charged for my husbands butchered cut, or what she charged me for just the top part of my head being foiled, she told me that it was $240 because she ALSO cut my hair (she BARELY trimmed a few split ends and I mean barely ! I would think a trim would be included in a service such as highlighting but if not, maybe she should have told me it was going to be EXTRA for my few split ends to be snipped and she also told me via text that she had to use a different highlight technique with her foils because of my root color & because I had dark underneath (I've been getting partial highlights for YEARS and never seen a technique that takes 3 hours) but Hannah said she had to use this technique because I was "phasing my lowlights out" , ummm I haven't had lowlights in years, I simply get highlights throughout my hair and leave the underneath darker, why wouldn't she advise me or disclose to me before doing these things? Instead she tells me she STARTS at $85 an HOUR! Are you kidding me?? You're barely out of hair school, you totally robbed me by spending 3 hours on PARTIAL foils that made no difference in my hair and my roots are STILL dark! I can't even tell that I had my hair done!! I basically got robbed because you thought I was new to the area and that you could take advantage of that. Hannah has zero personality and I've never had a hair stylist not disclose what she's doing to my hair to let me know"this might be extra", instead she just proceeded to do as she thought she should and then butcher my husbands hair and charge us $240! I now know why she added all those tiny strands of hair into foils (she was foiling the smallest strands of hair so that it looked like she used a ton of foils and added time to my appointment) my hair stylist back home can foil my hair and cut, style it and everything in one hour! Hannah used no products in my hair, she didn't flat iron it or style it, my hair still has dark roots and looks brassy and dry. I went in with healthy hair as my previous stylist uses olaplex. I got ripped off and I hope if you are reading this review you will ask the full price of getting your hair done here up front, but Hannah must think she's a top stylist for an LA salon, $85 an hour?? Wow. I've never experienced anything like this and I sent her the picture of my husbands gapped and butchered hair & she didn't reply. She is obviously very young & not fast at hair at all, but mostly she is milking the time so she can charge you $85 an hour for PARTIAL highlights (I only had my top hair highlighted and my ends trimmed & a 5 minute cut on my husbands SHORT hair & it was $240!!! This is a small salon, not like their serving cocktails and doing the works like an LA salon, but she thinks highly of herself to charge $240 for partial highlights! Beware!! read more

I got my hair done 9-21-16 by Hannah. I wanted originally some blonde foils but she showed me a picture of a balayage and I went with that the picture had beautiful BLONDES at the end with darker on the top. Well when it was finished I didn't have any blondes it was like a Carmel color that I could barely see. I was still okay with it and my bangs I wanted side bangs and it was like very hard for her to do ? Anytime I've asked for side bangs where ever I have went have been able to achieve them I have short pieces and it was like a thick bush on the side ... Which she tried to keep fixing over and over where finally I just said yea that's fine. So I then do my mom duties the rest of the night wake up the next morning for pictures and go to part my hair how I originally do and I see a blonde spot that has lots of breakage on the top of my head I didn't notice this spot because of the way she originally parted it so I text her the next day 9-22 asking her if she could fix it and she tells me that with the pictures she took before and after that the spot isn't in the pictures and it was caused from heat damage ? I don't blow dry nor straighten my hair ... I'm a mother of 2 , 9months pregnant with no time to do so. On top of not needing to do so because my hair is pin straight. I don't understand how they have customer service like this she should of just let me come in and color the blonde circle of breakage dark so it can grow back!! This is what she wrote me "Unfortunately after reviewing the picture you sent me, the after pictures I took at Salon and color formula with my owner the breakage did not occur as a result of anything done at Salon. That type of breakage is a result of heat/flame not chemical. Sorry I can not help you futher. " read more

She said "no one is here to do that. Sorry". She didn't seem the most sincere. But I think it would just be helpful to post your phone number so no one has to drive to find out information. I've been seeing Heather since 2011 and highly recommend her for any hair service. She is very friendly and fairly priced for what you get. My daughter had a biolage on her hair as a gift from me. Her hair is very thick, wavy and black. As the process was going to be s few hours long I left and returned a while later after most of the work was complete. For as much as I paid $200ish with tip I would have expected to see more color - maybe it could have been blended more? Or wider streaks? I was expecting to see auburn or light brown highlights. Instead with a couple of weeks the color faded and turned into blonde highlights. When we met few days before the appointment for a consult I asked if it was permanent or temporary color and was told it was permanent. Otherwise I may not have spent this much money on my teens hair. The hair dresser told me we would have to retouch the color every few weeks, even though she told me it would be permanent. I was expecting the color to grow out as her hair grew, not having to do touch ups or tints every few weeks. Needless to say we won't be returning and I cannot recommend read more

To the owners / management of Salon 705 you might a great salon by reading your reviews but from my experience (even before I walked thru the doors) you have been represented in a very poor light. Please let me explain, we recently moved from Connecticut and I was looking for a professional hair stylist. I looked on line and very few salon sites showed their stylist on their site. Your site however was a great site and have bios of stylist. I read the bio of Lisa and looked at her Instagram page and thought she was just the type of stylist I was looking for. I reached out to Lisa via text and set up a consultation. I texted her on Tuesday October 9th and we set up a Thursday October 11th at 5:30pm consultation. I was contacted by Lisa at 3:19pm on Thursday October 11th saying something came up and would have to reschedule. I was disappointed but understood. I asked if we could do Monday October 15th at 5:30 and she said yes absolutely. Please keep in mind I had already stated in our texts I did not know the hours of the Salon because the were not on the webpage. I arrived for my consultation at 5:30pm on Monday October 15th to find the Salon is closed. no Lisa, no text from her. I made sure to be there on time and really was excited to have found a stylist. I texted Lisa stating I was here for our scheduled consultation but she wasn't, I said thank you anyway and I will find another Salon. I have not received any response from Lisa. The lack of professionalism by Lisa is a poor representation of Salon 705 and not only did you loose a new client, my wife was looking at the Salon as well. Please rest assured I am very disappointed by this event and not only do I now question the first cancellation Lisa did with me. I LOVE salon 705. I have been going here for years. Everyone here is very talented and very nice. You walk in and get a warm cup of coffee and talk to a stylist like its a girls day. I made the mistake of going somewhere else once and my hair was so badly damaged I had to rush over to salon 705 to fix it. I knew that they do the corrective color treatment and they completely saved my hair and rushed me in knowing it was a hair emergency. I highly recommend them to anyone. read more
