Laser Skin & Wellness is the first experience I have had with a facial laser and they have…read moredestroyed my skin. After a long, horrible 1 year & 4 months of the pandemic I finally flew down to Palm Beach to visit my parents and wanted to do something for myself for the first time in a very long time. I went in for a consult for an IPL but was sold the Genesis Laser treatment. It was touted as a no down time laser facial that would leave me glowing and get rid of any redness. What it actually did was leave me with red, brown and white marked up skin with Lumps, bumps and holes!! My face is unrecognizable to me after the Laser Skin & Wellness Facial Laser treatment. The first day after the treatment I contacted the business and spoke to the owner. Karen (yes, Karen). I called about the state of my skin and the fact the my debit card had been charged as a credit card, which prompted a message from my bank. FYI: This business charges people an extra 3% if they want to pay by credit card, which is unethical and I've never heard of before. Accepting credit cards is the cost of doing business, so anyone charging their own customers credit card fees, which the business is suppose to pay, is a red flag of greed. When I called and told Karen of the horrible condition of my skin after her Laser Genesis, she asked me to email her pictures of my skin and she said she would call me back. I emailed the pictures and didn't hear from her so I called again. She said the technician had left and that she would ask another technician, but again no call back. I have emailed new pictures as the days went by with no improvement, but Karen just ignored each contact. It is her business, not the technicians, and she is the one who purchases the lasers and collects the money. There is no concern for the customers health and safety at this business, and absolutely no protocol for testing people's skin before using lasers on them. A young girl at the front desk didn't even allow me read the electronic consent form, stating that the technician would tell me everything I needed to know. Don't believe that lie! The technician sold this all as a benign beauty treatment but my skin was destroyed by it. More FYI: There are unvaccinated people who do not wear masks working at this business, and that is ok with Karen, even though her advertisement on Yelp falsely states that everyone has masks and gloves. To be clear, this business is all about the money and nothing else. i am attaching a recent picture of my cheek before the Laser Skin & Wellness laser treatment and pictures taken over the last 8 1/2 days, after the Laser Skin & Wellness treatment. I sent another message, just hours ago, asking Karen to cover the cost of a dermatologist (especially since I am visiting and don't live in the area) but, of course, she did not respond. Save your skin and don't go to Laser Skin & Wellness. If they destroy your skin, as they did mine, Karen will simply take your money and ignore you. What was suppose to be a quick pick me up turned into something that seems will be a long search for medical help with healing my skin, and legal battles. Laser Skin & Wellness is a despicable business. Pay heed and don't be Karen's next victim. Update: As soon as this review was posted I received an email from the business owner, Karen, who had been avoiding me for 9 days. She lied, writing that she and someone who works for her had been calling me which, of course, they had not. Let's see those phone records Karen! Anyway, she refused to pay for me to see a dermatologist and sent a few emails where she claimed that I must be having an allergic reaction to something else that had nothing to do with her lasers. Interesting that I would only have an "allergy" in the area where her lasers were used and only after they were used. She also tried to pull the "you signed a release" garbage, although her employees pull the electronic release away from you like it's on fire to prevent you from reading it. Also, I only signed for Genesis but two lasers were used on my face. I signed nothing for the second laser that zaps your face repeatedly with what feels like electric currents, so Karen is not going to hide behind a release. Karen needs to step up and be responsible when people are harmed at her business. My beautiful skin, which I have always taken care of, was destroyed in less than an hour at Laser Skin & Wellness. Update-1 month later: A month after the laser facial at Laser Skin & Wellness there is no further improvement. The damage done to my skin is quite bad (see today's pictures attached) and after a full month seems tO be permanent. The experience was disappointing. The staff did not make the visit feel fun or welcoming for the children, which took away from what should have been a special experience. The "fairy hair" application itself was problematic. The girls complained that the application was painful. Only one wrap was used, and each strand appeared to be attached to very few hairs. By the next day, roughly half of the strands had fallen out. When we raised this concern, the staff member responded dismissively and blamed my niece rather than offering to fix or replace the fairy hair. Given our prior experience with fairy hair from other stylists, where it typically lasts well over a month, we were surprised and disappointed that this application did not last even a full day. At $5 per strand, we expected a more durable result and a more professional response to concerns. Based on this experience, we would not return.

Instead, I was overfilled, which caused visible and ongoing issues. I was then charged significantly more for a second injection that I did not feel was appropriate or necessary. I am still in the process of dissolving the overfill and addressing the damage that was created, which has been both stressful and costly. When I raised my concerns, Karen did not take accountability and instead dismissed them by telling me that I "looked good," rather than acknowledging the outcome or my experience. After that, the manager, Chelsea, contacted me and fully defended Karen. I was denied support, my follow-up dissolving appointment was canceled, and I was ultimately refused any assistance. I felt completely abandoned as a patient. Additionally, I formally requested my medical records. By law, they are required to provide them within 30 days, and it has now been over 30 days with no records provided. Legal reached out to me offering me money to stay quiet and not post about it and also lying saying that i agree to that they fully took care of me. I would never sign a document with lies for money in return. While the staff initially presents as very friendly, that tone changed completely once I voiced concerns. In my experience, the friendliness felt transactional and disappeared the moment accountability was required. If you are looking for a provider who listens carefully, respects patient consent, and operates with integrity, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.

About a month ago, I went to the…read morePalm Beach Gardens New Radiance office for CO2 laser consultation for under eye and lip lines. Jessica Packwood, the injector, would not discuss the laser treatment, (despite this being the gold standard for what I wanted) instead she pushed (3) syringes of Restalyne dermal filler. I later realized that the Restalyne was a same day cash sale as opposed to future CO2 treatment that I may not follow up on. This was a typical bait and switch you would expect with a shady car salesman. During the tear trough (undereye) procedure, the very first injection she made punctured an artery. She immediately acknowledged it, and apologized, gave me gauze and asked me to put pressure on the massive amount of immediate swelling. She asked me to hold compression on the injury while she proceeded with injecting more filler. I was later informed that the compression was an attempt by her to minimize filler entering the punctured artery. Standard protocol for this mistake is to stop the filler injection immediately to minimize damage to the artery, optic nerve, and filler entering the blood stream, and use hyaluronidase to dissolve the Restalyne. However, this would have stopped the procedure and resulted in no cash sale for the day - so she continued with injecting. This was a breach Florida Dept of Health regulations, completely negligent, and resulted in a massive hematoma that has still not healed. I had a large amount of internal bleeding from the punctured artery that caused a hematoma (blackeye) from my eye well down to my lower cheek (see the photos). New Radiance's response to the botched procedure was to offer bruise treatment. After the treatment Ms. Packwood acknowledged that I would need more treatment as the injury was so extensive. When I tried to schedule another bruise treatment, I was told the equipment was not working and would have to wait. At this point my injury was getting worse so I had to see a dermatologist who confirmed that that I had a hematoma from a punctured artery. When I confronted Ms. Packwood and the business manager, Zod Hayword, that continuing to inject filler after puncturing an artery was negligent, against protocol, and was a breach of duty of care, they denied any culpability and refused to even refund the cost of the Retalyne. I was house bound for 3 weeks as it was impossible to cover the damage. I lost work, couldn't leas a normal life, and the emotional impact has been huge. Five weeks out, my face is still bruised and New Radiance refuses to even return my messages, let alone give me a refund. In short, the company baited me into a procedure that was ineffective, then somehow put a needle in an artery near my eye, didn't follow proper procedure for such a mistake, and now won't do anything to rectify the problem. The lack of accountability, transparency with pricing, and access to any medical care after the artery puncture is unacceptable. It is clear that New Radiances business model is sales over patient care to the point of negligence. Do not use this company for your cosmetic needs - you will regret it. I sure do.

Got a 90-minute massage with Ted this week. I was having a back issue from a fall, went to the gym…read moreafter and aggravated it. Ted worked the trouble area perfectly. I sat up and could tell I had relief. The next day I went to my Chiropractor, and he worked out the structural issues, and said getting the massage prior to the adjustment was so beneficial. Ted will be my go-to guy, and I like that he explains the muscle areas that need work and how each group effects the others. I am so not knowledgeable, and I don't mind admitting it. But he helped me understand what would benefit will me going forward to work out without hurting myself. It's nice to be able to have confidence in someone that way. He doesn't try to be a trainer, just told me what he could tell was going on with me. So helpful.
