She is highly educated and experienced and walked me through the processes my hair needed to get good color. She was thorough and gave me a time and cost quote as well. Super professional! The experience was disappointing. The staff did not make the visit feel fun or welcoming for the children, which took away from what should have been a special experience. The "fairy hair" application itself was problematic. The girls complained that the application was painful. Only one wrap was used, and each strand appeared to be attached to very few hairs. By the next day, roughly half of the strands had fallen out. When we raised this concern, the staff member responded dismissively and blamed my niece rather than offering to fix or replace the fairy hair. Given our prior experience with fairy hair from other stylists, where it typically lasts well over a month, we were surprised and disappointed that this application did not last even a full day. At $5 per strand, we expected a more durable result and a more professional response to concerns. Based on this experience, we would not return.

I had a consultation and during that consultation I got a hand written estimate of the total price out the door being $1457.35 for everything done. I agreed and set up an appointment with Erika and gave them a $500.00 deposit. During the appointment my hair is already being colored and then they tell me "oops! It's actually gonna be a higher price than what was told to me during my consultation." That's wrong. They will tell you a price just to get you to sit in their chair, then once you are trapped there and already getting worked on then they bring the bad news. The news that they lied. I would have been more than happy to pay the higher price; had that been discussed during my consultation. It's not about the money, it's the principle. Once you tell someone a price and it is agreed upon, you need to honor that agreement. I hope this never happens to anyone else, please please two nine salon, get your estimates correct during consultations and makes sure your employees are trained on prices. After all that, they did refund me my $500.00 deposit and I did not have to pay for what they had started as far a coloring. & they lost a $2000.00+ sale/client.

Katie had the arrival time for her artists at 7:15am (she had told me with adding on the extra artist we could start at 8am) but her own arrival time of 10:15am. My planner spoke to her again and the schedule was adjusted to an 8am start time since my planner noted multiple errors in the schedule. When I interviewed katie she stated that she "never does more than one wedding in a day" which I thought was great and a reason I moved forward with her. She ended up arriving at our house 45 minutes late at 11am instead of 10:15am. She then started my makeup 15 minutes later after she set up. You can imagine the stress this caused me knowing that we had to leave soon to my venue. Apparently, she was late because she was doing another bride's makeup/hair that morning. This was unfair to me. We had a timeline to stick to and she really didn't seem to care.
