Despite it being the end of day, receptionist still answered phone and without hesitation confirmed Salon Azzurro was accepting new clients and offered me availability for the next day as I hoped for. Brittany and her team were the best. i often struggle with finding a calm,peaceful yet creative Vibe when out in public places - not the case here. The entire team greets guests , compliments all the transformation work of other stylists and guests. A genuine sense of sincerity and warmth. Brittany and Salon Azzurro undoubtedly exceeded my expectations. Brittany took the time to talk to me and speak a language about my hair that I could understand. We have a plan in progress - not every stylist welcomes the red head seeking to be blonde- Brittany was enthusiastic and up for the job. About every 3 months I go to Salon Azzurro for my seasonal hair cut and dye job. Adriana takes my vision and runs with it! She spends as much time as she needs to, in order to lift my hair to the color I want, without over processing it or damaging it. She is very nice, thorough and gentle. Her haircuts are also nice and gives you a blow dry with them. She's a fashion color expert who definitely knows what's she's doing. The high price of Salon Azzurro is worth it. TL;DR - Great place, friendly, clean, fun, excellent results. Highly recommended! I let my hair grow through all of 2020 with just a few trims from a local barber. My job requires video calls all day every day. It was time for a more "TV-friendly" hairstyle. My wife did some research on the community boards and identified Salon Azzurro as the right place. Joe came highly recommended for men's hairstyles - and the recommendations came not from the men, but from their wives. When I arrived for my appointment all the normal Covid precautions were in place. The people were genuinely friendly and happy. Joe asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted whatever worked for my face shape. More importantly, he listened to what I *didn't* want. He did a phenomenal job. His brother, David collected my payment and let me know that I should think about coming back every 4-6 weeks. Now, here's the real test... When I arrived home, my wife started messing with my hair. She kept sweeping it in different directions. Then she looked at me and said "it's so even...I like it". Thumbs up from critic #1 A bit later my 18 year old son sauntered by. We booked an appointment for my daughter to get her hair and makeup done for her prom. We had never been to this salon before but needed a place close to school. We could not have had a better experience! The entire staff is friendly and outgoing! Dani did my daughter's makeup and Nathali did her hair. They both talked with her, looked at pictures and came up with a look that was exactly what she wanted. The make up was especially perfect; right for a 17 year old and absolutely stunning! My daughter walked out saying she wanted to book for next year's senior prom! A lovely business with great staff, clean and welcoming environment and plenty of parking! He was friendly, made me feel comfortable, and was very honest in regards to what I should/shouldn't do with my hair. He gave a great consult for both cut and color, and my hair looked so much better than the photos I took in for reference. I was so, so thrilled with how it turned out - the cut really suited my face nicely! Probably my favorite cut ever, and I'll keep the style for a while. I always get my hair done between Ouidad and Deva for the curl cuts and Rita Hazan for color but now I have found Gisendry, who gave me an excellent Ouidad cut on my VERY curly hair. Any quite possibly the BEST blowout I have ever had in my 20 years of getting my hair done. I am sure she knows how to do all hair, which she does bc I saw her instagram videos!, but I will call her the curl whisperer for me. I've been a client here for 4 years after a lifetime of disappointing results at other salons. Before coming to Salon Azzurro I had a head of thick, coarse, dry, frizzy hair. Too often, stylists cuts my hair super short because they couldn't tame it, despite high-priced conditioning treatments. At Salon Azzurro, April (no longer employed here) convinced me to grow my hair and get a keratin treatment. Gisendry took over after April left and refined the keratin treatment to keep some fullness and body while making my hair smooth and manageable. I never imagined I'd have long, shiny, healthy hair past my shoulders, but Gisendry made it happen! She's also done a beautiful job creating natural-looking color with highlights and lowlights. I've had a total makeover! Add a facial by Veni and I'm ready for my close up! The owners Joe and David are very friendly, as are all the stylists and assistants.
