Alyssa listens.! after intense, discussion and consultation, we came up with a preliminary plan. And this plan has worked toward. Correcting my natural color from a disgusting blonde that the previous stylist did to my hair after my telling him I did not want blonde, and cutting off all the dead hair into a style that my newfound curls from my natural /white have been so complementary to me from my family and friends. Salon Pure was confident, excited about my vision, and I decided that was more important than finding the best deal. With regards to cost, my appointment actually ended up being CHEAPER than I was quoted... I don't know or understand the different hair dying techniques, but Susan, my stylist, advised me to go a different route than I originally planned because it would be easier on my hair, and CHEAPER for me! The whole appointment, Susan was super transparent about when she had to mix extra bowls of bleach and how much that would cost. There were ZERO surprises about the price at the end of the visit. On to Susan... the appointment was SIX HOURS long (I have a lot of hair), and Susan was SO incredibly patient, meticulous, and consistent the whole time. I am so grateful for her! My hair looks amazing. It's the color I wanted and still very healthy. I will be back and cannot imagine going to another salon!

Now going to a new salon you don't know anyone and you don't know who you are going to be working with. Shira did my color and a cut. My word, you could not ask for a nicer person to do your hair. Shira and her boss spent over twenty minutes alone figuring out what products to use to get my hair ash blonde (the color I was asking for at the other salon but never got). Not only was my hair not even close to ash blonde it had at least 5 or more shades of blonde, yellow , orange and my roots. I was there for awhile but it did not even feel like it. Everyone was so nice and the salon is very comfortable. This is one of my favorite cut and colors I ever had, and I have been coloring for a LONG time now. Shira did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I definitely recommend Bijou. They are a little pricey but my hair was a disaster and I can't believe what a difference a couple of hours and a great stylist can do.
