I hate to write this because Debbie was absolutely fabulous. She was incredibly patient while helping me choose a color for my pedicure, and the salon itself was very clean with friendly staff. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the quality of the gel manicure. I got my nails done on Thursday, and by Friday afternoon the gel had already peeled off two nails. I called, and they were kind enough to fit me in to repair them. However, later that same evening, two more nails peeled. While the customer service was great, I personally wouldn't recommend this salon for gel manicures based on my experience. read more

I have a more detailed review on Google for anyone interested but in a nutshell , I've been going to Stacey for well over a year for blonde highlights. She did them well, my hair was healthy , and I thought I found my forever hairdresser. Everything changed when I decided I wanted to go darker blonde. We tried toners , deepened the highlights, color with no bleach. Two separate occasions it faded out within weeks. Informed her via text. Open to suggestions. No response or phone call. Really ?! This how much they apparently value their clients. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Had haircut by Brianna, I never felt such disliked, didn't say a word, I know I only wanted a few inches cut in bottom . It took 2 seconds I said that's it? She said she dies after dry. When dry she hanker my curly thick hair up with fine tooth comb and was hurting me! I said Koch and she continued didn't say sorry. Didn't know how to blow dry or ask which side I wear on. Looks homely. Never again will I go there.I wish I left nothing for a tip! read more

I have been going to G&D salon for over 2 years and I will never trust any other salon with my hair!! I have extremely thin blonde hair which i always box dyed on my own an did soooo much damage to my hair. From day 1, Brianna has been coloring my hair and gave me the best advice on what i needed to do to get my hair back to a healthy state. I did everything the suggested and my hair seriously improved! However i still struggled with how thin my hair naturally is. It started to become a self confidence issue and many times thought of just cutting it all of. Because Brianna knew how much i wanted fuller hair she always walked me off the ledge. One day i came in for my appointment and i asked her advice on getting extensions. She suggested that i set up a consultation with Christine as she was the stylist that installes them. Christine was extremely honest, thorough and never did i feel pressured to do anything! We discussed in great detail my options. I felt so comfortable that she had my best interest in mind. After some time to think about everything i decided to give it a try. Heather ordered the extensions and when they came in there was only 12 in the pack as we all thought there was 20. Christine immediately got in touch with me to discuss options as far as keeping the 12 extensions or ordering another set a little different but would have more peices. Heather and Christine figured out the best options for me. When the 2nd set came in they ran into a little snag with toning them. Christine and Heather called me immediately to let me know what happened and what they can try to do to fix it. They both worked soooo hard to make this work for me and it did!!! I just had my extensions installed and they couldn't be more perfect!! Color match is spot on. Christine took her time, and care installing them! I can honestly say from this experience with these ladies, Brianna, Christine and Heather are 1000%, heart all in for their clients. What they have done for me i cannot thank them enough!!!! Brianna is THE BEST Hair Artist ever! I have very long hair, and have been getting it highlighted/colored/trimmed for years but nobody does it better than her. The color always looks perfect. She is also very fast. There have been times when it took 3 hours to get my hair done in other salons, but Brianna does everything from color to conditioning to cut and beautiful blow dry in an hour and a half max! Plus she is so sweet and funny! The salon is very clean and all the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend it!!! read more

I waited awhile to post something on here about this place. When I first went there I had my hair colored red which was great. I paid a decent amount...not too much for what I wanted. I went again for a totally different color which I've done in the past. Once they realized I had a gift card....I honestly believe they overcharged me. I HAVE NEVER PAID ALMOST $400 for a color change...NEVER....and I have been to more expensive more classier places than that. I should've went to my girl at Blo Out Lounge where she ALWAYS gives the price up front. She knows EXACTLY how much product will be used and if hair needs to be stripped to change color. You don't need to go to a "high-end" salon to get "high-end" hair! Guys and Dolls is a quaint and cozy family oriented, girlfriends-kind-of salon. Very professional but very comfortable; not catty as some can be. I have been going to Guys and Dolls on and off for about 12 years and have always "played-it safe" when it came to my cut and color. "Just cover my gray strands with something that is close to my color, " I'd always say. And, I always left satisfied. BUT.... Yesterday, I was on a mission because I wanted something different. But, I didn't want it to be so different that it changed my style. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for hairstylist to want to please a client that says, "I really want something different, but don't make it so different that it drastically changes my normal style." Regardless of my almost impossible request, HEATHER DID IT! She gave me a reddish, caramel, chocolate ombre that knocked my socks off. Yes - I really just wrote that it knocked my socks off. I was literally sitting in the chair looking at my hair, slapping my hands on my thighs yelling, "I LOVE IT! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!". The prices are reasonable and consistent. Consistency is key - I've been to other salons where the price they charged didn't match any item or combination of applicable items on their menu. Don't waste anymore time reading this. After over 10 years at a salon I decided to make a change. I randomly called up and was given an apt with Debi. I can't begin to express how happy I am with my color. Called on a random Thursday afternoon and got an appointment a half hour later (which is great for my hectic schedule). Easy booking with receptionist who sells some adorable craft items in the shop. After years of boxed dye at home and uneven color I needed some consistency and wanted to even out the color for my thick curly hair. Christine and Heather brainstormed together and found a great solution for my budget as a student. Christine made me feel so welcomed and really cared about my hair color needs. Her passion for hair color made me feel comfortable and confident during the entire process. Will go back for color with Christine and want to try a DevaCurl cut next with Heather. The building and the people created a great family environment and I look forward to continuing my hair journey with them. A+ service for color, overall professionalism, and kindness. I went to Guys and Dolls for the first time today and got a sea salt body glow scrub. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The price was very reasonable. Kristy made me feel very comfortable. I never had one before but have always wanted to try it. The sea salt is massaged onto the body by the tech and the massage table was warm. She also used heated towels to scrub off the salt. It was very relaxing and invigorating. Something worth trying. I will be back to this salon despite the distance from my house (about 1/2 hour with no traffic). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will be going back for more and try other services as well. It's a great find! read more

I am an admitted salon hopper! With short hair and an eagerness to shake things up and try new styles, I often find that stylists don't want to flex with me - totally not the case with Vickie at Guys and Dolls. I saw a photo posted on Facebook and immediately recognized a great hair cut and color - then I saw the photos of some funky styles and colors, and I figured I would give them a shot. I am so glad I did! Vickie (one of the owners) was a bit surprised when I first called to say I wanted something "funky and colorful) but later walked into my appointment with a professional suit and heals! I walked out with a great new hairstyle, color and stylist. When I needed to change up my make-up to go with the purple silver hair, Vickie took care of me then too.
