Everyone was impressed with the professionalism and COVID precautions. My makeup was FANTASTIC (thank you, Fatima) and my curls lasted all night long, even a month after the wedding, people look at the photos are so impressed with how well my hair held up (thank you, Jane).

I would seriously given the service ( or more accurately, the lack there of) zero stars if that was an option. I called up in advance to let the salon know that I was running exactly 5 mins late for a wash and a Blo dry. They still call me 3 mins later to check. I arrive at 6:35 pm exact and let Sarah know that my hair is a week old dirty and that I would need 2 shampoos . She gives me a look and tells me that she has no time for a second shampoo and that she has a 7 pm. At this point- I let me hair out of the scrunchie and let her know that may not happen given my hair length and texture. She berates Morgan from the front desk in not letting her know about my hair and at this point she is rough and rude in her actions. Proceeds to shampoo my hair while berating me for being 5 mins late. I try to think of more pleasant things but then she proceeds to cursory shampoo without scrubbing. I tell her again that my hair is really dirty and she is rude in her response back. I get up with shampoo in my hair and ask to speak with the manager about the abysmal customer service. The manager is not there. Morgan at the front desk washes out my hair as a courtesy and I leave with the managers name and number. Sarah tries to engage with me once more "explaining" why I am wrong- I ask her to desist and walk on. Talk about customer service! You would have thought I was getting a wash and Blo dry for free or as charity the way I was treated. Not sure why they accept late appointments if the stylists are tired, bored or just not upto it. Wonder if the primary modus operandi is to collect money from hapless customers while being rude. Hmm... never known that to work anyplace before!!! Avoid this place even if it is your option if last resort especially Sarah. My first experience there about a week ago was also "borderline" rude with another stylist but I did not write about because it was borderline. But this second experience has compelled me to provide this review. People- be aware. Maybe there are others who are nicer at this salon- but this stylist was not! Oh and I tried calling the salon today to talk to the manager- but my calls went into oblivion. Maybe I will have better luck tomorrow.

I can honestly say that Anthony gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. You can tell from the moment you sit down he knows what he is doing, and is confident in what he does. Anthony and his staff are top notch professionals with a huge side of kindness. I felt like I was in heaven. Kristin, known as "T", colored and cut my hair to perfection. T is a beautiful person inside and out, and I loved that she absolutely heard me as I explained the texture of my hair and my issues with color. I loved the results! I will be back to see her again. Cosmo Bleu is next to a consignment shop and bubble tea place, on the "other" side of Nassau. The outside awning looks a little dated, but the interior seemed clean and not as old looking as I had expected from other reviews. Aguri did a great job with my hair and was really fun to chat with. The head massage during the shampoo was really relaxing, and she listened to what I was looking for before making her own suggestions. I just wanted to trim my bob without looking like a puffball (I have a round face, and Asian hair protests against volume), and she did just that while restyling my layers. It's been about a month since then, and my hair still looks good (with maybe one area that's grown out a bit flippy). I'm not sure if I'll be totally changing stylists quite yet, but Aguri has gained my trust.

She hardly cut my hair, I was going to an event that evening and asked to blew out my hair (curly to straight) I looked like a witch at my event. She didn't even use any product on my hair. I don't think she cut my hair in the extra pay price I paid for, she just trimmed it. At the end, I ran out of cash, and the snotty lady at the desk said run to CVS for the tip, when I asked if I can come back late or mail it in. This is not the first time the front desk was snotty. The stylist really didn't care about me as a client.

i've been bouncing from salon to salon for about a year looking for a place, i've gone to a lot of…read moredifferent salons in mercer county, some twice, but was still looking for a place that i left feeling happy without feeling like i couldn't eat lunch for the next three days because of what i just spent. i read some good reviews about issalon and decided to give it a try this morning and think i've finally found "my place!" i got there 15 minutes early for my appointment and ally took me almost immediately. i was scheduled for full highlights and am usually a little anxious in a new place but she was awesome, friendly, and so relaxed. i never worried for a second because she clearly knew what she was doing. i have trouble making decisions and a lot of salons will just sit and not give me feedback, but ally was so sincere and i really valued her input, which ended up spot on. she wasn't pushy and didn't try to convince me to buy anything or get services i didn't need or ask for just to jack the bill up, just made suggestions that were so appreciated. she was honest and gives great advice! i paid literally half as much as i have been paying in other salons, but left twice as happy, i will definitely be back :) kerry

I had to wait almost 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. The stylist didn't really listen to what I wanted for my haircut. The result was uneven and not at all what I asked for! The tools didn't look very clean, which made me uncomfortable. When I mentioned my concerns, they didn't apologize properly. For the price they charge, I expected much better service. Sadly, I won't be coming back here again.

I have a very curly hair, I showed Laura a picture of my desired haircut, she decided to dry cut my hair then shampoo it. the haircut didn't look good. I asked if she can blow dry my hair so we can fix the cut, but she explained that she was busy and have other appointment. I was told to go home and call them back. I did the following day, I called to schedule a blow dry and fixing the cut, but they told me that they are booked for two weeks. terrible service. I will never go back again. even if the stylist didn't know what she was doing, or if it was mere luck, customer service socked. Really too bad!
