The absolute worst experience ever! I've booked my appointment and stated that it can be with everyone and paid for I got the confirmation email etc. all of a sudden they call and say we can't see you at the hour you booked (3:00), they said that the stylist I booked it can't see me at the time I booked. I kept telling her that I didn't book anyone specifically. She said that regardless they want let me come at 3:00. I tried to accommodate with them and tell them that I can do it too, but they said sorry we can't accept you today. They did suggest come for while I've been keep telling them that at four. The stylist at the salon are wonderful, the esthetic great and we have always gotten a great haircut. The problem is that the last three scheduled haircuts, they have canceled on us last minute or changed the time. Today, the complete left me hanging before a night out to where I cannot reschedule in time for a big event. As we only visit every three months for a solid haircut, I can only imagine this is because we are not "regular" clients- but it has made this salon less impressive and will lead me to find a new salon. Either way, this has made me feel like our service is not of importance to them - calling me to cancel 20 minutes before the appointment. Extremely Disappointed. One of the owners was cutting my hair and she walked out in the middle of the cut and left the salon. I sat there forever thinking she'd gone to grab something. No one told me anything, even though they knew she had left the property. They just let me sit there. I finally asked where she was because I had a very important appointment I needed to get to and they offered no help. They wanted me to just sit down and wait an infinite amount longer. Cameron Perez cut my hair yesterday at 4 and I absolutely adore it!!! It had been 6+ months since I had my hair cut, and the brush, heat, and environmental damage to my hair made it unmanageable and a total pain! She cut off 5 inches, extra taking care to not only trim my tangled prone knots, but also to ensure I liked the style and weight of my overall hair. I felt very pampered and taken care of! I wasn't going to write a review, but I'm going to jump on the "anyone but Jacklyn" train that I see in many other reviews. I wish I would have seen these before making my appointment. I used to see Shay, but she left the salon. I called for an appointment and they booked me with the salon owner, Jacklyn. My first experience with her was the same as the other posters: she was working on three people at the same time, had a somewhat grumpy personality (which I attributed to her just being busy), and charged me an outrageous amount for a cut, color, and highlights. Like, more than my engagement ring cost. I called her a few days later and asked if she could add more toner since some of the highlights looked more grey than blond, and she told me to wash it three times over a week and call her back. Well, I didn't have a week due to a business meeting so I bought a box of L'oreal and did it myself. Fast forward five months and I went back for a cut. She said, "What are we doing today" and I said, "Just a trim. No more than 1/2" and showed her with my fingers. She then said, "I haven't seen you for a while" to which I replied, "I've been growing my hair out, especially the layers in back. I want it long for summer. Oh, and don't touch my bangs - they are perfect right now." Again, she was working on two other customers at the same time. Her brusque attitude really turned me off and she clearly didn't want to spend time confirming what I wanted the end result to be. I didn't really panic when I saw the longer pieces on the floor as I did ask her to thin the under layers in back, but couldn't tell what she was doing since she turned me away from the mirror and silently did her work. At no point did she check in with me before making her cuts. I found that unusual. Of course, you know how this ends. She cut about 2" off the front and 3/4" off my bangs. I had no words. While she did spend time on the cut because I have lots of hair, I felt very rushed since she was constantly checking on other clients. Her blond assistant - who was also kind of grumpy - did a lot of the pre-work. Jacklyn literally put me back 6 months of effort in growing out the front, which everyone sees on dates and on Zoom. I went back about a week later to talk to her about it, as I really didn't understand what happened when I thought I had been so clear. All she said was, "I'm sorry you didn't like your cut" and stood there with her arms crossed in front of her. No authentic apology. No offer to try to make things right with me. In fact, she walked away from me when I was in the middle of a sentence. I wasn't angry and did not raise my voice, but simply wanted to be heard. I will never, ever go back there and have told nearly 20 friends about my experience, and asked them to tell their friends. Other stylists there might be OK, but since she's the owner I wouldn't go to them either since she profits from their efforts. read more

I got a balayage from Ariel back in April. She is the best. During consultation I was really worried because as much as I wanted to add color to my hair I was worried about the damage since I have never bleached my hair.Ariel took her time so explain all the methods we can use with the least amount of damage.She recommended balayage, even though it has bleach its not as damaging.She even helped me pick a color which will fade in a natural pattern without looking all blotchy. Next week I showed her a picture of the hair I wanted and she knew right away what to do. She is so sweet, gentle and she never pressures you to get a haircut or buy any products while your in the salon for something else.She lets you relax during the process, dosent talk to you the entire time when your trying to relax ( which I love).
