Heartbroken that my hair is ruined after working so hard to get it so healthy this year, one trip to this salon for partial highlights left me with uneven blonde shades from copper to bright white. Now I am left with major breakage with thick 4 inch uneven broken strands that are so obvious on top of my head all the way around with a major BOWL HAIRCUT look because of the damage and breakage, and shades that don't even match the rest of my hair. Nothing can fix this. I never leave bad reviews. Please offer better training or limit the services the stylist offers based on their knowledge and expertise. read more

I went to salon del sol to do my highlights, but when I called for the appointment the lady assigned me an stylist named Tylor, she was nice but she don't have experience foe sure, I was excited at first but after she finished I was soo disappointed, she didn't do the color I asked for, also, she cut a big chunk of hair without letting me know, my hair brakes in peaces when I get home, I don't know how she did the highlight, but now my hair is suffering, I regretted to go there so much, now my hair it's bursted, and people asked me, what I did to my hair, it's so embarrassing. read more

I'm a military spouse, mom of 3 and just moved to LA so I needed to find the perfect hairstyles. I have unseen beaded weft extensions and needed someone who knows what they are doing, who is certified in that technique, clean and professional. Britney checked all the boxes and then some! My old stylist moved away and I had been in need of a new stylist for quite some time, but was really nervous to try someone new. I saw that Brittney was recommended in one of my mommy groups and decided to leave the box of color on the shelf and make an appointment. I'm so thrilled that I did. Brittney is wonderful! She's so friendly and easy to talk to, I felt comfortable right away. Not to mention a master at her craft and gives THE best shampoo bowl massages, which is just an added bonus! I went to patty because I started breaking out pretty bad which was unusual for me and I have a wedding coming up. After one session with her my skin cleared up within days. I have been going once a month and I seriously don't have even one pimple on my face. She also got rid of some pesky milia(I think that's what they are) which made me feel like I look younger. First of all, I've never been to this salon. I'd probably give it a higher score if I had the pleasure but... The reason I gave Salon Del Sol 2 stars is because they were extremely nice on the phone. All 4 times that I have called, 3 ladies were extremely pleasant to talk to. The other call was answered by the kind answering machine. Call #1 was answered by Peggy (I think she's the owner). Peggy was busy but gladly took my number and promised to call back within an hours time. Call #2, 2 days later since I was never called back by Peggy... I got the machine. I left a message asking to be called back. That never happened... Call #3, another 2 days later, was answered by another lovely lady (I didn't get a name but she wasn't Peggy). She took my number and told me Bridget would call me back in 15-20 minutes. You guessed it!!! I was never called back!!!!! I think their too busy so I'll just move onto another salon. read more

Oh my goodness there is nothing she can't do--peels, scrubs, enzyme treatments, LED treatments--and all catered to my skin type! She offers great treatment packages that leave your face glowing! I didn't think it was possible for people to compliment my skin, but I get it all the time! I myself am not as attentive to my face as I would like to be, but you wouldn't know it just by looking at my skin. Patty is a FANTASTIC esthetician and I recommend her to anyone who asks! Great place! I've been coming here for several years seeing Jessica. First off, she does great cut, color and style. She's a terrific stylist. The salon is clean - no dust or grime. Everyone takes care of their stations. Bathroom is always spotless. I get my hair done by Jessica and my facials and eyebrows by Patty. Love the privacy of the facials. Can we talk about the miracle that is Jennifer? I'm not immediately impressed when I get out of the chair with great hair-- I need to be able to manage it myself afterward before I get excited. I might schedule a parade, because with a shaped cut and the most on-point product recommendations ever, I can officially say this is the most competent I've ever been with my hair. It used to look good in the mirror after an hour of styling and fall to crap once I walked out the door, and forget about getting a second day out of it. This review is long overdue. Megan worked her craft on my hair for my wedding day, and I absolutely loved it. I researched dozens of hairstylists and did a couple of trials, but I was so disappointed with the results. In a last ditch effort before I resigned myself to settling, I booked a trial with Megan. I'm glad I did not give up. She worked with me to style my hair the way I wanted. Before the wedding, I asked for my hair to be highlighted with a subtle ombre. She also hand painted hair extensions for me to match my new hair. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time bright and early in the morning to style my hair at the same time I got my make up done without complaint. Because I had a 15 hour day of wedding festivities, she showed up to the church in the afternoon to retouch my hair before I walked down the aisle. Hours later, she came to the reception to tighten my curls and touch up my make up. Having her come back throughout the day kept me looking like I just stepped out of the salon every time. Megan is always friendly, responsive, and supportive. Her rates are also reasonable. I would definitely recommend Megan for hair cuts and special occasion styling. read more
