Amanda is my stylist now and she's great at color and I'm pretty picky about getting my highlights close to my scalp since my hair is fairly straight. She has a fun personality and knows her stuff. I purchased a groupon for a facial/microdermabrasion session. First and foremost, Jennifer was awesome! She took the time to ask what my skincare needs were and made suggestions. Not happy with the cut nor the coloring. Had a Groupon for 120.00 (I paid $40.00 for it) and when I called, she quoted me 130.00 for cut and color (my hair is very short), so I figured I'd own $10.00 plus tip. When I went to pay, she said $198.00! Rip off for sure. Not happy and would never go back or refer anyone here. So, with the Groupon, it came to 78.00! So, I paid 40.00, Groupon gave her 120.00, and I gave her 78.00. So, total of $238.00 and I had to go to another salon to get it fixed!!!! She had to even out my cut (which was a mess - layered it for an inverted bob style???), and told me she couldn't get the color any lighter......duh, me thinks maybe going back to Beauty School might help. Not the happiest of people either. Only her and another fellow working there doing hair, so not much choice of someone to do your hair. My advice? NEVER EVER GO HERE! P.S. Horrible experience, pricing outrageous, and did not get what I asked for.. Then when I called to get it corrected, gave me attitude and argued instead of being understanding and listening...would not recommend this salon to anyone. I also got talked into products I did not need and paid more than any other salon in that area, more than Above All, Phillip Pelusi, and Beauty First after I was told prices are comparable.
