I was fortunate enough to have my hair cut by Chris and hair highlighted by Emily. Everyone here on the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. I was totally happy with both my cut and color results - I can be tough to please but the wonder duo lived up to their Instagram hype. They're not inexpensive but you know that going in and there are some folks here who are at a more affordable price point if you prefer. I am new to Houston from California and have been searching for a new salon to call home. I stumbled upon Callie through Instagram and was impressed with her work so booked her for highlights and a cut. When I arrived, Callie greeted me right away and we discussed what I wanted. I showed her some pictures of how bright I have gone with my color before and we agreed on what she could achieve that day. I'm not big on golden tones or anything warm since I'm a brunette so i want as much contrast as possible but still blended and natural. Callie listened and got it down right. She was efficient but wasn't sloppy as I have experienced with other stylists. She even fixed my layers that were not even from the last place in Houston I went to (and never went back). Coming from salons in the Beverly Hills area I can tell you that Salon Bugatti is top notch and I can tell everyone there is super talented. I love their products and the whole environment. I'm super super picky about my hair and definitely left happy with my result. Callie is now my go to! read more

I sooo wish I had come here first instead of going to the 5-star salon across the street that turned my hair from blonde to dull brown (and their "fixing it" resulted in most of my hair breaking off). Alexus at Salon Bugatti is a true hair professional! She listens and is responsible-without the arrogant, irresponsible, and uncaring attitude I experienced at the previous salon. I am beyond impressed with the owner and staff here. They work as a team and truly care about customer satisfaction. Alexus also fixed my daughters bad balayage from another salon. I've struggled for some time to find someone who can cut and style my fine hair correctly. It seems as though texturizing and layering hair is not something most stylists are decent at. I drove an hour away to Salon Bugatti after following Chris for several months. I could not afford him, so I assumed Alexus would certainly be trained and experienced enough to help me. Instead I left frustrated, offended and didn't even make it to the car before being in tears. Firstly, she was not very friendly. I felt like I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, honestly. I was a bit emotional when explaining my situation to her but it didn't seem to impact her one bit. It actually made her come across as insensitive and judgy. She said she couldn't really do anything with my hair, but would cut it some. She said to come back after I've grown it. Well, I wasn't looking to grow my hair out. I wanted a cute cut similar to Chris's signature cuts/styles. She basically shut me out and didn't even style my hair. She had me leave with it flat and unstyled. I spent A LOT OF MONEY and drove over an hour to leave feeling better about myself and I left feeling dismissed, more frustrated than ever, very unpretty, and regretting it all. It was such an awful experience for me. I follow Chris and the salon on Instagram for inspiration and because of my experience with Alexus I can't stomach even seeing her. Listen, I don't like leaving poor reviews. More time than not I don't bother because I'm a reasonable person and never want to negatively impact a persons reputation and livelihood...but this really was a bad experience. Chris and Salon Bugatti have a reputation to live up to. Alexus needs to come down a notch, be kind, and do what she's trusted to do....have people leave feeling better about themselves and as though she deserves their hard earned money. I see in the reviews that I'm not the only person who's had this kind of experience with her. What a disappointment. I can't not recommend Salon Bugatti because I'm sure there are highly experienced, welcoming employees who work there, and we all know Chris is phenomenal. All I can say is do NOT go to Alexus. Its always hard when moving somewhere new and finding a new stylists. I was able to make an appointment with Morgan and was amazed! The salon has a great atmosphere and immediately gave the impression that they would take care of me. and I was right! Morgan killed it! The shampoo was relaxing and she took her time to cut and my hair which I really appreciated. It made me feel like she wasn't in a rush to get it over with. The end result was fantastic and she was bale to take my ideas and give me something I could work with everyday. Only gave 4 stars because of the price. I could probably find another great stylists cheaper somewhere else but I that is too much hassle and a gable. read more

I think Alexus may have been the rudest young woman I've had greet me at a salon. She didn't introduce herself, no smile, no gesture of greeting. I had to ask if she was Alexus whom I was meeting. I don't mean this to be rude, but I thought she was just a young girl bringing me back to the stylist's station. There was no introduction, etc. once I got seated, I explained my needs, and appreciated when she explained her style was different than what I wanted. When I asked if she could recommend someone else, she told me she really didn't think anyone there could help me (btw, I just asked for texturing, layers, and didn't want blunt choppy ends), and told me that my dry hair really didn't work for their style. Wow but Okay fine. Again, I appreciate that the style was different and respect that she was upfront. But the whole reason I went to an upscale salon was because my hit is so damaged from the sun here in Texas. I had explained that I came to them because my hair was so damaged and I wanted to get it back to what it has always been before moving here. I said I appreciate the honesty, what about just doing a color? She said "what about it". I asked if I could just get color and she did everything in her power to make it clear she did not want to color my hair. She said she didn't think I would like their method because it was "beachy and lifestyle". I asked what that meant and she said "it's like, beachy and lifestyle color". Okay. "I mean, we don't really do the chunks and streaks". Right. So you're not Supercuts from 1999. Glad you hear but not sure why she thought that's what I would want. She couldn't have been more clear if she had chased me out of there with a broom, and made it clear everyone else there would feel the same. I've never had a business make me feel so below them as Alexus did. I own a business and if I ever had an employee or contractor speak and act that way they would be gone. I have included a picture of my hair (before the current outgrown blonde highlights and split ends) just so you don't all think I'm a crazy person with impossible hair or a crazy request. (I wish I had one of it brushed and styled but this morning bed head shot is all I have) This is all I wanted for color and cut. I even told her I was onboard to hear any ideas she had. I am new in Houston and was looking for salons for getting Blonde Balayage done. Found this after going throw several reviews on google and yelp. I was disappointed completely after getting my hair color done. I got my highlights done which was not colored properly , there was no color in the hair at all, Hair doesn't look at all like its colored, no point in even sitting for 2 hours in that chair, first they don't color the hair properly , I think the products they use are like that. then you have to go 2nd time to get your hair fixed . For the fix they give shittiest service , they ask you to leave with wet hair, no blow dry nothing, the hair doesn't look like its fixed. just leave like that spending allot of money. Even though you try to explain it to manager, the manager doesn't seem to understand your point and was so rude and mean. I would request the manager to just "shut the place down". No good service, over priced, over hyped. I ignored the single stars and the reviews provided by other customers and still chose this over other quality good salons. I made a mistake going here wasting my 5 hours completely. I would not recommend at all to go here. Please choose some other salon no matter what. Just a single hair cut is $85 and highlights are over priced. The worst salon till now in my life. read more

Placed under dryer with my foils18 mins, then hair rinsed and sat and waited another hour before I was brought to chair for my cut!!! No one apologized for the delay nothing was said to me as I sat there waiting......, Haircut and partial highlight on short hair tops should take 2 1/2 Hrs -mine took 3 Hrs 15 mins then I checked out and the prices quoted to me when I made my appointment turned out more!!! Questioned the prices "oh it varies" was the answer!! Instead of a highlight I got all lowlights and my blonde disappeared!!! I asked for my cut to be no shorter than my chin well it's to my ears!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED WITH MY SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH!!!! Would not recommend this salon !!!! ZERO STARS!!! read more

I was so nervous knowing I had to find a new hair colorist after moving here from Florida. I am so glad I found Emily Cooper! I booked her 3 months in advance before my move and communicated with her through email with photos. The day of my appointment, my hair turned out OUTSTANDING. I also made my followup appointment for 9 weeks later, and that appointment went even better, instagram / Pinterest worthy hair. Emily is worth the wait and the price. I have baby fine hair that is delicate and I'm a brunette but color blonde, so therefore I have to be very picky! I have no breakage with her. She's good with blondes, and that's important in my book! When I asked for a trim, she took very little, and still looked amazing. She does EXACTLY what you ask for and takes her time, I like that. She is an amazing artist, words cannot describe! She broke my base and it was the perfect shade, not brassy or off colored. Also, I like that she was with me the whole way. Being from FL, I'm used to being passed on to assistants, cutting specialist, hair shampooing assistants, assistants that apply the toner, break the base, or blow dry, and having to tip a million people, LOL. This isn't the case here, you get one on one treatment from her, she's truly the artist. The salon is not an assembly line here! They're up to date with the latest trends and techniques (bayalage, ombre, lived in color as well). Everyone in the salon looks like they do great work as well. I'm looking forward to my next appointment to see what she does this time ;) ps. If I ever have to move I'm sure I would just fly back to get my hair done here, haha! read more

Salon Bugatti is the best salon in Houston. We are so fortunate to have it located right here in The Woodlands. The atmosphere is calming and aesthetically appealing. The stylist are friendly and welcoming to all of the clients. Chris Jones is a professional. I have followed Chris since I first cut my hair with him in 2000. He is a talented stylist. He does both cut and color which is nice having the same person work on your hair. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable and happy with the finished product. I love how this salon uses only the best hair products. I LOVE ALEXUS!! I am incredibly particular with my hair and how it is cut and styled. I went from having long hair to a short bob.
