A friend of mine recommended me to visit this salon as I had a wedding to attend. I spoke to the owner Leo and made an appt for my sister and I to get our extensions put in for us and have our hair curled. I've been coming to Salon de Leo for about a year and during that year I have gotten many services done from Brazilian treatments, hair color, hair cut and extensions. I always get my services done with Leo and he is truly amazing. He discusses all your options and is very honest about what results to expect. I always walk out very satisfied with the results and happy! I use to go to different stylist for haircuts and hair color because in the past I haven't met a stylist that's great at both, but Leo truly is. It was actually my first time getting extensions and I was scared but he explained to me the best place to buy them online ( he has no affiliation and there's no code he benefits from). He was right, the hair quality was top notch and he placed them in a very natural looking way. People are always surprised when they find out I have them in. As for charging, he always does alittle more than he charges me for and it's refreshing. His staff is all friendly and getting an appointment is always at a reasonable wait time from when I call to schedule. Also, my 8 year old daughter gets her hair cuts with Ada and she is amazing. I'm very picky with her hair cuts but Ada listens and has so much patience. She also does cute styles too! read more

I can't be the only female who gets anxious when it comes time to get a haircut and so I tend to avoid it until my split ends become too much to bear. One day I found a Groupon for a haircut and keratin treatment at Salon de Leo and finally decided to bite the bullet and do it. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed as if I was a regular. Leo and his team made me comfortable to the point where I was ready to chop off about 10 inches of my hair right then and there. And so I did, and I was not disappointed! Leo gave me such a nice, modern haircut and I grew to love my new short hair. The keratin treatment worked wonders as well for my previously dry and frizzy hair. I loved the new look and so did everyone else! Since then I've been back for a trim and plan to get the keratin done again soon. I don't think I will trust anyone else with my hair again. I decided to go here back in December because I found a Groupon online for a discounted rate. The atmosphere in this salon was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. The man at the front desk greeted me, took my coat, and asked if I wanted coffee or tea. After that he walked me over to the woman who would be cutting my hair. I decided to do a big chop (which scared me a little!) and she cut the perfect amount off. She looked for my feedback and stuck to what I wanted, but also gave me some suggestions on different things I could do with my hair which ended up looking great. I love Leo's expertise. I have curly hair and have had so many nightmare experiences but Leo actually made me trust hairstylists again. I have never left a hair salon even liking my hair color, ever..so when I walked out of here LOVING my hair, that says a lot. Usually when I get my hair colored it ends up turning some shade of red and/or brassy. No matter how much I've spent in the past that's always been the case. Either that or when I ask for "subtle highlights" I somehow end up with black hair and platinum blonde stripes. It's always been an endless cycle of attempt a new salon, hate it, pick up a box of hair dye on the way home and dye over it, wait couple of months and try a new salon, and so on. On top of that my hair ends up feeling like straw because of all this trial and error. But this time, with a combination of Leo's talent and his high quality products, my hair was the perfect shade of brown with blonde balyage! No redness, no brassiness, no skunk-like highlights (circa early 2000s). It really does look natural, like I've spent a summer in the sun. And because of the olaplex he uses it felt strong and healthy, not like the straw feeling that it usually gets after bleach that I've tried in other salons. Also I wanted a trim because it had been a while. Leo wasn't at all scissor happy and made my cut look new and fresh without taking away too much length. Manijah is also a stylist there and she blow dried my hair and gave me beach waves. Once again, first time a salon/stylist knew how to do a beach wave and not a prom curl. I also saw her and the other stylist, Maggie, do other clients hair and they also did really nice work! Came here on recommendation from a friend. Needed a haircut and had some spare time so called about two hours before and was fit in for same day haircut. As I walked into the salon I noticed that it smelled very nice and was very clean. I was greeted with a smile from Leo and asked to wait in the waiting area. No kidding, but less than 5 minutes later I was in a seat to get my hair washed and cut, blow dry and curling took less than an hour and it came out great. I noticed that the people at the salon were very friendly and engaged in conversations and the floors were constantly being swept.
