I'm very picky on who I let cut my hair just because I'm the past stylists have messed up my hair on numerous occasions so I wanted to try this place out. WOWZAS! Kelly has some sort of magical touch! She transformed brassy grey into stunning silver/lavender/unicorn mane. O_O I was expecting a slight change but floored when I saw the after. Refer to photo. Totally in love and so happy to have found her at Salon Divina. If this rating were for Kelly alone it would be an easy 10 star review! The only reason it was knocked down one star because Salon Divina has a really wrecked scheduling system. We attempted to schedule maybe 3 or 4 times and it would accept our appointment only to be canceled on the day before or the day before. It was so inconvenient. Finally, we picked another stylist and it although we did have to reschedule once or maybe twice I don't remember anymore, Kelly was worth the wait at least. :T They need to fix that online scheduler....either that or the stylists that work need to commit to the appointments they take on. I just spent 7 hours at this salon getting my hair lightened trying to achieve a BRIGHT blonde by Divina. My first and last visit at this salon and I do not recommend it. Divina bleached my whole head and lifted me to a 7/8, then Divina decided to tone it down to a ashy brown without telling me what she was doing or what toner she was putting on my hair. I made it clear that I did not want ashy hair from the beginning, I told her I wanted a bright/golden blonde color. Twice I showed her a picture of the color I was going for and she did the opposite! I was lifted to a 7/8 shade of blonde, so she could of toned it to a medium blonde, or medium golden blonde, but instead she gave me what she wanted! Divina gave me a dirty ash brown and while blow drying my hair she said your hair is a "ASH BROWN MUSHROOM" color and this is what is in right now!! I can careless what is trending, I didn't ask for this! My total was $400 and I'm really dissatisfied with the results! My hair looks muddy and patchy. She bleached my whole head and gave me a ugly shade of brown, all the bleaching and damage is very frustrating. I feel totally screwed!! read more

Honestly if I could give a 0-star review specifically to one of the stylists here, I would. This morning I had an appointment simply just to trim 2-3 inches off my hair and trim my side bangs a little as well. Instead, I left the salon absolutely devastated with a haircut I absolutely hate. To start off, apparently this place only does "dry cuts" which I have never done before but was willing to try. I grew increasingly irritated as the stylist asked me to stand for more than half of the haircut while she sat in a swivel chair and worked on my hair. It was so uncomfortable. She was impersonal and barely spoke to me before the main disaster even happened, and during the part of the appointment that I was standing she would completely stop working on my hair at certain points to chat with the stylist working on a customer next to her. It was very frustrating. My biggest complaint obviously stems from the aftermath of my haircut. It seems there must have been some miscommunication with the stylist Melissa as she stated I had some breakage with the hair stemming from the base of my skull/neck area and said she could blend it so the length would be more uniform and even. Unfortunately, I truly wish there was more clarification as I thought she meant she was going to correct the strand she was holding in her hand and not my entire hair length. When I sat back down in the salon chair from my "standing-up" haircut, my heart SUNK to the bottom of my chest. I looked at the floor and SIX TO SEVEN FREAKING INCHES OF MY HAIR WAS CUT AND LYING ON THE FLOOR. I freaked out and asked why she had cut so much of my hair, and she referred back to the breakage and blending my hair. I know that my hair was not so unbelievably unhealthy that it needed six to seven inches chopped off. Melissa continued to be SO insincere and I felt like she was trying to smooth the blame off of her and was insinuating it was what I asked for. I said I only wanted 2-3 inches trimmed, and at no point did she say, "Ok, we're gonna cut off more than what you asked for. Is that okay?" No explanation for blending, or matching the length of the breakage hidden under most of my hair anyways. I was tearing up in the chair clearly trying not to full-on cry in the salon and she couldn't give a flying crap about it. I cried in the car on the way back home as well, and still feel beyond devastated about my new terrible hairstyle. So much of my confidence stemmed from having long beautiful hair, and I feel naked and ugly without it now. That was taken away from me today, and my "confidence" is probably now sitting in a dust pan in that salon. There's no way my hair will grow back to its original length for at LEAST a whole year and that breaks my heart. I was supposed to have my hair dyed next week and I feel that I might have to cancel now that it is so short. Melissa, your lack of communication and insensitivity towards me today absolutely crushed me and I spent most of today crying because of your "work" done on my hair. I feel so unconfident because of my hair now, and I can only hope you create better means of communication with your future clients and tone down on being so scissor-happy. I'm sure the shop owner is a very lovely and kind woman, but unfortunately I will absolutely never return here ever again thanks to Melissa giving me the worst salon experience I've ever had. read more

I would not recommend anyone to book with Kathy. Her prices do not reflect her work. All her pics look really nice but she fails to tell anyone that for basic coloring that she charges insane prices. So yeah you can get those nice colors but she told me it would take 4 appointments from $200-$400 a piece just to get a basic look. She's trying to charge $1000 just for one style. I've had so many things done to my hair and know what it was capable of and because I ask for her to get my hair as light as it can go in one session she literally told me she wasn't the stylist for me.
