But the hygiene is really poor here. The same tools are used across clients without any sanitation in between (clippers, cuticle trimmers, nail files, electric drimmels) and it makes me so uncomfortable. If they can just increase their hygiene practices it would be perfect. I also have the problem with the nail techs always over buffing my nails. The common practice these days in all the salons is to use the electric drimmel to buff nails and it always hurts and damages my nails so much. I used to do my own dip nails for years and know they don't need that much buffing so it's a shame. I'd love to do my own nail prep and then have the artists just paint the designs.

Today I was feeling lazy to drive, so I decided to try out this local place. Inside was kind of depressing, and the chair was uncomfortable, but they say not to judge a book by its cover. Holy hell was I wrong. I specifically told her I just wanted a cleanup, keep it clean, and keep it thick. Guys eyebrows shouldn't be thin. When she was done, and gave me the hand mirror, I literally didn't recognize myself. It was unbelievably thin for what I'm used to, I didn't even know what to say when she asked "how is it?" I was so stunned, and speechless. I answered it was ok, and even tipped $2 because I'm a wuss. I'm going on vacation tomorrow, and now I just want to stay inside my house for 2 months to wait for my brows to grow back out.

Finally at 11:15 one of the staff came out and asked if I'd like to reschedule because they ran out of lash kits. The manager was bringing them hopefully by 11:30. I told her I'd wait until 11:30 and run to the grocery store. At 11:30 I received a phone call from the staff telling me that I would need to reschedule for another day because she had another client scheduled and she wouldn't have time for me. First, if your business is lashes, how do you run out of lash kits? Second, I don't like to leave bad reviews so I tried calling to speak to a manager. No one answered after multiple calls.

Both I have gotten done here before with different people. Eyebrows were fine but the lash lift was the problem. This woman I got today I don't think she knew what she was doing but did it anyway. My eyes were burning the whole time and the stuff she put on my lashes somehow ended up all over my eyelids, my waterline, and irritated my skin. I was in pain the entire time and it was just too much of every product. She was not gentle and wasn't able to get off the glue used for the eyelid covers. This was an absolute horrible experience which makes me sad because I loved my last lash lift. If you go here for a lash lift don't go on Thursdays.
