I'm honestly so disappointed with our experience. I took my toddler in for a haircut with Isabella, and the result looked like something I could've done at home with kitchen scissors -- and not in a good way. Uneven layers, random chunks missing... it looked rushed and careless, like there was no real attention to detail. A toddler's haircut doesn't need to be perfect, but it should at least look intentional and clean. Sadly, this looked like my child cut her own hair. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon. The color came out brassy and orange, far from the toned look I requested, and my hair was left severely overprocessed and damaged from the bleach. The appointment took over 4 hours, during which the stylist, Isabel, repeatedly left to attend to other clients before finishing my service. My scalp was left sore and burned from the toner, and it still smelled of bleach even after being washed out. Despite a supposed hair treatment being applied, my hair remained dry, brittle, and visibly damaged. The results were nowhere near the reference photos I provided and what specifically I wanted for each photo. She disregarded my questions of communication to make sure we were on the same page. Because I prefaced that I did not want my hair completely blonde and suggested we did partial balayage because that what i previously had. She shrugged me off with a comment as laughed saying "Oh its okay, your just confused because you don't know hair." My hair is basically 20 different shades of blonde, bronde, and brown, with peaking streaks of my natural dark brown hair. The overall experience was unprofessional and careless which I was still charged with the initial price of $180 even after all these inconveniences. I would not recommend Isabel or this salon to anyone. This place deserves NEGATIVE stars because if I could I would. I walked out worse than I came in and my hair will take months to recover as it was so fried and loss soooo much hair. THIS DESERVES-10000000 STARS OH HELL NOO THIS IS THE MOST ABSOLUTE MOST HORRIBLE HAIR CUT PLACE EVER!!! Let me tell you guys what happened, I was a walk in and like most people I did my research and read all the reviews, I seen all the pictures and the rating is high, a 4.5 is good..anyways I walk and asked if they take walk ins . I explained I was only wanting to get a trim and define my v shape more. THIS LADY, (I'm not sure what her name is, she looks Hispanic/ Filipino, with short hair and she's a shorter older woman.) I told her what I wanted, to which she replied "okay that's easy". She proceeds to have me seated and do the usual when cutting hair. I told her that there was no need to wet my hair since it was already straighten out. Of course she didn't listen and proceeds to squirt water on to my hair and after she was done HALF wetting my hair it was so tangled because my natural hair is pooffy. So after she does this my my hair is half wet/ pooffy and half straighten. At this point I should've walked out and left but my dumb ass decided to give this woman the Benefit of the doubt. I SHOULD NEVER HAVE!! I have REALLLLLLLY long straight hair and what she did to me was just was wicked. This lady doesn't know how to cut hair and she should've stayed at the receptionist desk and shouldn't and not ever be allowed to touch anyone's hair again!!! I'm not sure if this woman resented my hair because it was so beautiful and healthy but she did me so wrong and even had the audacity to say it looks really good. I told her it looks horrible and was uneven and she said that it looks "A LITTLE UNeven" is because of the way my head was tilt. NO THE FUCK IT WASNT. Once I seen my hair I began to panic and my anxiety started to appear and I don't even have anxiety so this must've been a panic attack. While I was crying, sobbing THIS WOMAN HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY "let me fix it" listen your a hair stylist should never say this. This women clearly wasn't licensed to cut hair. no hair stylist should say "let me fix it" this woman should've done it right the first time. While all this was happening all the other stylists were just staring at me and All the customers too. I CANT BELIEVE NO ONE ASKED IF I WAS OKAY OR IF THEY COULD HELP. NO THEY ALL JUST WATCHED ME REACT, panic, sob and WORSE PART LET THIS LADY DO THIS TO ME. I take pride in my hair, i love my hair and when this lady did this to me It felt like one of my limbs were sawed off. I will get this lady's name because I will go back. No one deserves to get their hair cut by her. I believe I could've done a better job. After leaving I straight went to my OG stylist and had her fit it. She was sad that I cheated on her with someone else but at that moment, u needed a hair cut asap and the reviews were good. Over all this is the most terrible hair cut place ever. If I could I would do a negative review. Isabelle was nice enough to come to my grandma's house for a trim and a body perm however, my grandma was very unsatisfied for it was not short enough and hardly any curl, not to mention for the price she had to pay! Needless to say she have the place another shot and made an appointment with a new girl (Rose), but in shop this time. When she got there she was told Rose could not do her hair and had to get placed with of course Isabelle. Yet again my grandma was extremely disappointed! I have been coming to this salon for years and have never been disappointed. Though only LAURIE does my hair, I like everyone in the salon! All of the hair stylist are friendly and helpful! One day, my daughter and I were both getting our hair done when I got a call and was going to have to rush out. Leo (another hair stylist) realized I was in a hurry and asked if I wanted him to straighten my daughter's hair so that Laurie would just have to style it! Now for Laurie... Yes, I have known her for YEARS (about 20) but if she didn't do great hair, I wouldn't bother coming in! When I leave the salon after a cut, color, and style, I ALWAYS get compliments! What I love the most about Laurie is that she can tell when I'm emotional and doesn't let me take it out on my hair! Recently I came in and told her I wanted to cut six inches, straighten it, and put blond highlights in it. She told me, "How about we do what we usually do. She does an amazing job and I always leave here happy! If you are looking for someone to take care of your hair I HIGHLY recommend Laurie! She also does an incredible job on wedding makeup and up-dos. I've had bad after bad experience at salons and I must say, I told Laurie what I wanted and she delivered! The color and cut was great and she was very informational as well. The people here are great! Lori does the hair for a couple of cousins and their always looks fantastic. Leo cuts the hair of both of my sons and they always look very cute with their classic little boys cut. I always go to Rose...she has been doing my hair for at least 20 years. She does my color... She is awesome at coloring hair. She just gets it right. I always get compliments on my hair. Rose is also great at cutting and styling my hair. I like to try different hair cuts and she is good at recreating the haircuts that I admire in magazines. She invests in quality products and I am really happy with her work. read more
