The front desk woman greeted me when I walked in and she was efficient with booking an appointment. The waxers I saw were clean and friendly. I have nothing bad to say. I read other reviews that complain about the time restraint and such. That is just to give the waxer time to wax them before the next guest. I don't see any reason why this location should get negative reviews. If you have a reaction, it isn't the locations fault, but your skin condition. I found the wax to be a perfect temperature. She had the opportunity to share with me what "sides of face" vs "full face" meant in the studio when I said the exact term "sides of my face" and when I pointed out what areas I wanted waxed. She asked me if I wanted my chin waxed but I said no, I only needed the sides of my face done. If I thought I was getting a full face wax, I wonder if she waxed my chin, if she would have charged me an additional price for chin. So there's plenty of room for communication on pricing and the ambiguous services with no descriptions online. It's easy to mix up what does "full face" mean vs "sides of face" vs "sideburns", etc. and that "full face" also does not mean eyebrows are included. Had I known what I was being charged for, I would not have come here to begin with, so it's disheartening to have given away $75 plus a cash tip to this place just to get my sideburns/cheeks + eyebrows waxed, and no other part of my face, when I could have found better pricing elsewhere. Also their online pricing was different from what they were charging me in the system, and there's no signs or brochures in person that show their latest raised prices. The last thing is the site says you get $20 off your first service as a new customer, but in person, they said it only applies to hair coloring services, which COULD be easily clarified online, but It's just online bait, which is another reason why I initially came to try out this place.

(2/5) $130 fir a polish change????…read more I wanted to share my experience at Beyond Nails after two visits with my 95-year-old mother, who has dementia. During our first visit, the technician (Wen) did an excellent job on my mother's nails, and she was very happy with the results. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the work. Whenever my mother spoke, the technician would not acknowledge or respond directly to her. Instead, she would look at me as if I needed to translate. While my mother's communication can sometimes be affected by her dementia, I felt she still deserved to be spoken to with kindness, patience, and respect. The technician was not warm or personable, which made the experience uncomfortable. We decided to give the salon another chance because my mother loved her nails. We returned for her scheduled 3:00 p.m. appointment to have a polish change on both her fingernails and toenails, keeping the same cat-eye color she already had. A few minutes after we checked in, a receptionist came over and asked what services we wanted. After I explained that we only wanted polish changes with the same cat-eye color, I was quoted $130 before we were even taken back. If I remember correctly, that was about what I paid during our first visit for a full manicure and pedicure with the original cat-eye service. The price seemed excessive for polish changes alone, and I left feeling as though we were being discouraged from receiving the service. Whether that was the intention or not, the overall experience did not make us feel welcomed or valued as customers. Because customer service is just as important to me as the quality of the nails, we chose to leave and take our business elsewhere. I sincerely hope the salon will consider providing more compassionate and respectful service, especially when working with elderly clients and those living with cognitive conditions such as dementia. $130 for a polish change??????????

The gentleman doing my nails was rushing, paid little to no attention to my cuticles, and got polish all over my fingers. When I asked him to slow down and fix it, he seemed annoyed by the request. He also didn't do the best job removing the old gel polish, so when he started to apply the new gel, it was incredibly streaky. At $37, I shouldn't have to beg for something to be fixed. I left the salon with my fingers looking like I painted themself - messy and not worth the price I paid. I sadly will not be back.
