I can honestly say this was the worst blowout I've ever had. I got an easy blowout for a wedding. When the stylist was done, I had to tell her that my hair was still wet underneath. She didn't know what she was doing - you could tell even by the way she held the brushes. Everyone else in the salon that morning was getting the most dated, 80s styles done to their hair. While the environment is low key and peaceful, the prices are obfuscated. I received what was to be a master level stylist root coloring which ended up being shades darker without a real hint even of the reddish shades in original coloring so I have a dark line that is not blended now. I was fine with that as a correction had been offered. But when I looked at my credit card bill I had been charged a bit over 100 for the coloring (expected) and almost 70 for a very simple blow out (not expected and not described). read more

I had a problem twice with this Salon! First I had a perm which never took so the girl had to redo it...if you can't do a perm why waste my time. Next problem I had a haircut with Jordyn...I asked to have her trim my hair...she gave me an ultra short hair cut...when I came home my husband said what happened to your hair??? I have never had my hair so short in my entire life!!! I had my haircut on 3/27/2019 and had to attend a family wedding on 3/30/2019....hair does not grow back in 3 days!!! They try to pull their salon off as upscale since the salon is located in Spring Lake Don't waste your time or money here!!! read more

i love this salon. it's a pretty classy, upscale salon. this location is pretty small but there is another location in Brielle new jersey that is bigger. the salon is immaculate and everyone is very friendly. my stylist is Jordayn and she is the best! the fees are based on the experience level of the stylist but i think they are right in line with the other nice salons in the area. this salon is right off my of Main Street in Spring Lake so it can get very busy in the summer especially on the weekends since the beach is right down the road. there is a nice size parking area right in front of the salon that serves all of the small businesses in that area and you can usually find a spot with no problem. i would definitely recommend Salon Kokopeli read more

FIRST TIME THERE - CAME IN AS A BLONDE LEFT AS A BRUNETTE Staff was very nice and attentive. I was however NOT happy AT ALL with my color. I went in to get blonde highlights and left as a BRUNETTE. Since my appointment, I've been trying to lighten my color at home using a clarifying shampoo which is extremely aggravating after paying over $100 bucks for the highlights. I'm hoping my stylist can get it right next time, otherwise time to move on. read more

I always ask for Jordyn because she has amazing talent, is kind, and always listens to exactly what I ask for. I've brought in pictures on a few occasions and asked her to recreate the color, style, or cut. She executes it perfectly every time.
