Despite showing my records, I was simply told that I did not have an appointment. There was no effort to review my information, acknowledge the inconvenience, or offer a meaningful solution. Instead, I was told they could not do my hair that morning. What disappointed me most was not just the scheduling issue--it was the lack of professionalism, accountability, and empathy. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how those mistakes are handled is what leaves a lasting impression. After making a significant drive and rearranging my morning, I expected at least an apology or an attempt to accommodate me. Unfortunately, this experience left me without the service I had scheduled and forced me to find another stylist at the last minute. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply to anyone looking for a salon that is dependable, organized, and values its customers' time. If reliability, communication, and professionalism are important to you, I would encourage you to consider another salon. This is my second disappointing experience with Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply in Stockbridge. During my previous visit, an adult stylist began my hair, but before the service was finished, two young girls completed the braids. After I got home, I realized the quality was unacceptable. The braids were uneven, with some noticeably longer than others, and several in the back came loose. I contacted the salon, sent photos, and explained the issues. I was told that my next visit would be discounted to make things right. Based on that promise, I scheduled another appointment on July 10 for August 1. I explained that I needed my hair done before returning to work for the new school year. I was never told that a deposit was required and was told to come for my appointment. This morning, I woke up at 7:00 a.m. and drove from Stone Mountain to Stockbridge, only to be told that I did not have an appointment. I showed my text messages, call history, and other proof that I had scheduled the appointment, but no effort was made to honor it or provide a reasonable solution. The experience felt dismissive, and I left without having my hair done. The combination of these two experiences has left me with very little confidence in this salon. First, I received a hairstyle that was not completed to an acceptable standard after being finished by children rather than experienced adult braiders. Then, when I returned after being promised that the situation would be corrected, my appointment could not be honored despite my documentation. I value honesty, professionalism, and respect for customers' time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Based on my personal experiences, I cannot recommend Ngozi's Braiding and Beauty Supply in Stockbridge. If you are looking for reliable scheduling, professional adult braiders, and consistent customer service, I recommend considering another salon.

However, in December 2023, she colored my hair and it was AWFUL. She said in a text message to me that she takes responsibility, but when I started to discuss the problem she became very defensive. I thought taking responsibility meant making amends. This did not mean that to her. When I went back for service, she charged me the full amount. I paid it because I did not want to lose my temper and create a scene. I texted her a couple of days later to discuss my concerns and she said in the text she took full responsibility. Today, I texted pictures of my hair and sent her a picture of my hair before this treatment. I told her in the text the least she could do was refund my money for the color since she agreed it was a mess. She said she credited my credit card and would send the money for the color service when I got back to her with the receipt. I had appointments scheduled for the rest of the month so that I could get it treated to restore the health of my hair. She canceled all appointments, Unfortunately, I will have to sue her. You never know someone's true character until there is a problem. I am saddened the relationship ended this way. I did not see this coming.

If you are looking for a fancy hair salon with a receptionist, chandeliers and an upscale atmosphere, this is not your place.
