I mentioned that my scalp and hair are sensitive, but no one explained what was being used. As soon as I left, I noticed a strong chemical smell. I washed my hair immediately when I got home, but it was too late--my hair started shedding from the follicle, not just breakage. Weeks later, my normally thick hair is visibly thinning, and I'm still trying to recover from the damage. Please be cautious if you have natural or color-treated hair. Ask specific questions about what they're using, because it was not clearly communicated to me. I hope management takes this seriously and reevaluates the products and client care process.
