I absolutely love this Salon. Between the knowledge & professionalism all the staff to the High end Products this Salon is one of its Kind. As soon as I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by the nicest receptionist who gladly brought me something to drink while I waited for my stylist . Much to my surprise It was sooner than I expected. The stylist actually took the time to discuss what I was wanting done to my hair and she discussed options since my hair was severely over processed because I had been doing home color for so long. Once everything was decided , I then got the most amazing scalp massage during my shampoo. . I was so comfortable I think I probably nodded off. Lol Now to the chair. The stylist was extremely professional and had the personality that would just make you think it was your best friend doing your hair. It took about an hour and half for my appointment and as soon as she turned my around in my chair and I saw what a HUGE transformation she did to my hair I couldn't believe THAT WAS MY BEAUTIFUL HAIR. I WAS COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS.. I'VE NEVER HAD anyone just take there time , cut, color and style my hair exactly how I wanted it to look. I am hooked . I have been going to Salon LaFaye for almost three years now. I am so fortunate to have found this salon and will never go anywhere else. I'm really particular about my hair and always have been. Rhonda is the most talented, caring and dedicated salon owner and stylist I have ever met. Being an educator for Aveda is a great honor and she is always up to date with the newest trends. I love going there and being welcomed by the entire staff whether it is just a hello to what can I get you to drink. The consistency of excellent workmanship and professionalism leaves me relaxed and confident that my hair will look awesome when I leave and easy to manage at home. I'd like to add that I get color, including highlights, straightening, and cut. I have never been disappointed. Rhonda and her staff are the real deal. Fantastic Salon. Salon LaFaye scores big on providing a great client experience. I have had my hair colored and cut by Rhonda and Caitlin! Skilled and Professional stylists that work with integrity is not an easy find but you can find them at Salon LaFaye. Lisa does a fantastic shampoo blow dry! I love that Rhonda the owner invests her time and experience in teaching the most up to date color techniques and styles to her stylists and clients. I always learn something new every visit. I love that my friends and their kids come here too. From front desk, Tricia and Harmony make my appointments and work with me to get in with a tight schedule at times. Didn't realize that my feeling a place that cultivates a dangerous/toxic environment based on my experience would be deemed "unrelated", so here's detailed about my experience: The person who did my hair was nice, cut my hair how I wanted it, I have no complaints there. But I will not come back here again as the owner is a racist and makes racist remarks. I overheard her conversation with her client talking about how they didn't think the murders of the Asian women in Atlanta was race related in any way. I have always LOVED Salon La Faye!! I have had haircuts and color done there multiple times, as well as styling, and I have never been anything less than thrilled. This is one of the best salons I've been to, and I'm of the age that I've been to more than most! Not the fanciest, not the most uptown, but friendly professional service and excellent hair cuts, color and foils. Highly recommended.
