I get my eyebrows done every two weeks. They are very thick but a salon up the street has managed them well for a couple of years. In a crunch, I had to try The Brows. I got a threading and tinting. I was thoroughly disappointed. I had a hole in my right eyebrow. And my tint was VERY off. Thankfully it only lasted two days rather than the usual week and a half. it was a young lady that did my eyebrows. when i entered, no one was in the front and she yelled from the back and told me wait 5 minutes. While I'm waiting 4 other people come in after me. we are all waiting at this point. Then when i get in the chair, I said i want just unibrow and don't take off anything just clean up. and her response was like mhm. and she began doing it and she took off everything but my unibrow. she thinned out my eyebrows on the top and bottom. My eyebrows look like 2 straight lines if no longer has an arch. she was rushing on me because more people began to come in so she was just doing want she wanted. And she made me look at them and just rushed me out the chair to do the next person which was my mom and she rushed on her as well. read more

Its really a shame, this place seems to be heading downhill pretty fast. I started going last fall and they were brisk and efficient, now it just feels rushed and flustered. I have a couple big problems that will keep me from ever returning: 1. They have started reusing the wax strips & sticks. This is so unbelievably unhygienic that it makes me cringe. My last wax, the young woman used the same wax strip for my entire Brazilian, underarms, and part of my upper arm. She only stopped using that same strip because it lost any ability to attach to the wax. Needless to say, after less than a week, my hair is already coming back. I'm assuming this is because instead of being pulled out by the root, they just broke off. VERY disappointing. 2. There is no semblance of privacy. I am not a shy person, especially when I'm getting a Brazilian- there's no point. I do take offense when my wax is interrupted by employees throwing open the door and standing there with it open so they can talk to the person doing my wax. 3. Drama. Lately it seems like I've come in the middle of an argument, which results in me being essentially abused by the esthetician because she's mad about something that happened before I got there. Very unprofessional. My last two eyebrow threadings have resulted in scabs because the woman was threading me so violently that I bled. I wish I could say better things, because their prices are awesome and the location is easily accessible. But the prices aren't worth the abuse, possible infection, and poor quality work. read more

My first experience here was mediocre but my last experience...TERRIBLE. I got my eyebrows threaded by some lady (she was pregnant) and she was rude and didn't thread my eyebrows good at all. She rushed through the job and when she was trimming my eye brows with the small scissors, she cut my skin. It was bleeding and hurt really bad! Then when I mentioned that she cut my skin, she blamed it on my "ingrown hairs". That was definitely my last time going there! Save yourself some money and go somewhere else. read more

Wow!! Just got my hair done down the road and needed my brows. Hadn't had a Brazilian done in a while so I said to myself, let's get this done, woman up! I was a little nervous because the place is so small and not nearly as fancy as the place I'm used to going. But it's the day before NYE. So I didn't want to be going from place to place and running into long wait times. First of all, don't put that off like I did LOL it only makes it worse. That said, despite having a bit of hair - sorry if that's TMI but it's a waxing place so it's relevant - she didn't have to go over any spots twice which I was quite grateful about. As a matter of fact, it was hands down the fastest Brazilian I've ever gotten. Oooeee my girly parts feel and look so much better. Got my brows threaded as well and they look perfect! She trimmed them too! I live all the way in Roswell but come to Kennesaw for the woman who does my hair. I agree with a previous post, in the beginning this place was great. I only got my eyebrows done and was quite happy. I decided to get my eyelashes done. I asked about pricing and was told $25 for cluster and artificial eye lash hair and $40 for human lashes single lash. When I sit to get them done, the ladies are going back and forth about the price I was quoted and then start speaking in their native tongue. While my eye lashes are being applied, I'm informed that the price is going up next month. When I asked how much, she said she did not know as yet. When she was done, you couldn't really tell I had lashes on. I wasn't going to say anything, but once I got home, I realized she used the cluster lashes and not the single lash. I called back voicing my concern and she kept telling me, that what I had was the single lashes. I've had my lashes done numerous times, I'm very unhappy. I've been getting my lashes done since she first opened and even considered getting waxed, but I will no longer be a customer. read more

So I've gone here a couple times. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded and seen other people get them threaded here and they do a pretty good job. But never get your eyelash extensions done here. Me and my cousin have both gotten them done. They glue them. The glue BURNS. It always takes forever and they always all fall out after like 4 days. So just save your time and money tbh. But their other services are fine, depending on who you get. So beware of eyelash extensions and the owner or manager whom only ever goes in when there is a problem and she's always on her phone. read more

I wish I could rate 0 stars. Went in on Saturday for lash extensions. The lady that placed them was the one with glasses and brown hair. She appeared as if she didnt know what she was doing. Long story short she got glue too close to my lid while I was there. It was so painful, Another lady with long dark hair had to come over several times with water to rinse my eye and finally I had to go to the sink which didnt help. After being there a really long time and several attempts at the long hair lady to get the glue out (each time she was able to get glue excess from my eye) I left. While driving down the road the pain was so great I came back and long hair lady took more of the hardened glue from my eye. I finally just left. By Saturday night my eye couldn't even open. Fast forward I'm at my optometrist who basically said I had a chemical burn in my eye. High dose eye drops later I call to salon Monday as they dont open Sunday and was told the owner would get back to me. I had to call several times. Even went to provide a copy of my RX note and doctors note, Fast forward to WEDNESDAY, she (owner) Naneen Aman (sp), to tell me "they do great, this never happen before, I am the wrong one". I sent the lady pictures of my eye and said the LEAST, they could do was 1) APOLOGIZE 2) train the lady to ensure this NEVER happens to anyone again and 3) refund me the cost of the service and my $45 copay. This lady told me "we did a good job and you blackmail". I have reported to Georgia board of cosmetology, Better Business, Acworth and Kennesaw Chamber of Commerce, and who ever else I can access. She insulted me after injuring me. No one in their right mind should spend a dime in this shop. read more

My eyebrows have looked great every time and I've seen the same 2 or 3 women, they all have done my eyebrows wonderfully. I've also never had to wait more than 2-3 minutes. DO NOT come here. I came here for a brazilian wax. It was obvious the two young ladies had NO idea what they were doing. They failed to pull the strips completely off several times. With each attempted my skin would be pulled and the strip would remain. It was extremely painful. They did not know how to apply the wax. It was a mess, it was laid on too thick and it pulled my hair and skin with every application. I eventually started to get scared and asked them to stop. They did not appear to understand what i was saying because they continued to lay more wax on me. I eventually sat up and asked them to just stop. I came home and my bikini line is severely bruised. To add insult to injury, there are still stray hairs in the areas that they attempted to wax. I walked out half finished with wax still on my skin. I was afraid that if I let them continue they were going to cause serious damage to my skin. I was too embarrassed to even get in a bathing suit for my vacation because my skin is bruised and red around my whole bikini line. read more
