My hair has grown a significant amount since moving over. We don't trim each visit and I can feel how much healthier my hair is. All around, great experience. My hair hasn't been healthier. I changed nothing in regards to my at home routine. I wholly contribute all good hair things to the products and care during salon appointments. Staff are friendly. I have had two men's haircuts by Gina and they have both been great. The cost is reasonable ($25 w/o tip, but cmon peeps, tip your guuuuurl). The service has been great. It's easy to call same day and get a spot most of the time, and the cut includes conversation and a shampooing. This little shop seems to have great chairs and equipment, and there's always a few customers in there chirping away. Overall, the place has a nice positive energy to it. The only draw back would be the parking situation. In this little section of Towson you've got to pay to park during bankers hours. A few bucks here or there, not bad, but when the block is rocking it can be tough to find those paid spots. If you're looking for a competent, friendly, and positive experience for a mans haircut, please give Bliss a shot.

It's surrounded by huge sky rises and parking structures, and so when you drive up to it, it feels like a small preserved piece of the past in the middle of the modernized Towson. There is street parking and several close parking structures to choose from. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The original hardwood floor has a classic mid century feel. The lighting fixtures and salon setup are all modern and create an interesting dichotomy. As an Aveda salon, they have a wide selection of Aveda products. Due to their small storage space however, they tend to have only a few bottles of each product. So if you want a lot of a specific product, you may want to ask them to order it for you. In terms of services, they provide skin care and body care, hair treatments, hair coloring, and hair cuts. Their focal point is obviously hair care. In the upstairs area they offer acupuncture and massage (when they have a person on staff - I don't think they currently have someone as of July 2025; whereas they have had that it the past)

I called to see if any salon could take me on my off day from work for a reasonable price. I wanted a partial - full highlight with face framing balayage pieces. I have medium length hair that hasn't been properly colored or cut in months. The secretary, Lisa, was helpful and informative when booking my appointment for me. She fit me in to see Layla since she had a last minute cancellation. Long story short, Layla is extremely talented and cosmetology is clearly her passion. She gave me a full consolation and even asked me to pull my mask down a little bit so she could see my bone structure and skin tone. I've never had someone so thorough do my hair! She truly earned her 'Master Stylist' title. She was professional while also down to earth, she asked me what budget I would like to stick to. I told her around $150 for the full high-light if possible. In short, Layla completely transformed my hair. She worked quickly and was extremely thorough; She wanted it to be perfect for me. She even gave me a complimentary blow dry so she could see the results of the color. Although the price is higher than I've ever paid, I really got what I paid for. I'm from a smaller town so this was definitely a new experience for me. I feel like Layla was a perfect fit for me. She didn't make me feel like she was taking advantage of me or rushing me. I appreciate how humble she is and I already have a follow up appointment booked. I don't have any great pictures of the transformation, but Leila took some. I walked out with black hair and almost no visible highlights. Called that I am unhappy with color. Came back, showed bunch of pictures to make sure we are on the same page. This time walked our complete yellow blond . Terrible. People start comment that I need to change hair dresser. By now I spent over $3000 there . Hair looks cheap . This place might be ok for hair cut but they do not know how to do extensions and should not offer that service. When explained issue to owner and asked for money back he got very rude , condescending and aggressive .
