So I first came to this salon with a Groupon a few months ago - it was honored with no issues and no awkwardness. That seems important to mention since this is not always the case at other salons. My mom and I both left the salon feeling fierce af after our cuts with Esmeralda. She's so good at what she does, and is so sweet! We went back for another cut a few weeks ago and she convinced us to add a little color into our lives. My mom had never colored her hair before and I had a less than amazing experience with my last color. Needless to say she's converted us both! Excellent!! I wish I could give more stars! I came here on a Groupon, and Veronica was my stylist. I saw some of her work on Instagram, and she seemed fabulous! From start to finish, she was very friendly, VERY meticulous and detailed with my blow out. She shampooed me twice, then she blow dryed my hair (which was honestly perfect), and then she curled my hair to my specifications. She made sure every single strand looked perfect. Really disappointed in this salon. I called to schedule a blowout and was getting the times available for this coming Friday. As soon as I mentioned that it was a Groupon I was placed on hold and when she returned to the phone she said she only had an 11am appointment available. I told her I would call back. Of course, I had a second person call - and Friday had availability all morning and all afternoon. If you don't want to cater to Groupon users DON'T ADVERTISE on there! I'm not cheap by any means, I called a second salon who was also advertising and even asked them if having a Groupon made a difference. It didn't and THEY were courteous. I came here for a haircut & noticed the stylists were also having to answer the phone, which was inconvenient. I understand Covid has affected businesses & dismissed it because I was pleased with my hair cut, so I decided to schedule a color the following weekend. When I had to change the appointment later, I could tell the girl on the phone wasn't paying total attention but trusted her confirmation. When I showed up this morning, my appointment is the exact weekend I told them I'd be out of town. This is infuriating because I explained in detail why I needed to change dates, I paid for a baby sitter & had to re-arrange my work schedule. The salon is in a great location. It is clean but keeps a fun/funky décor similar to the area it's in. The atmosphere is extremely inviting and unpretentious. The stylists I interacted with have all been very friendly and well put together (this detail might seem unimportant but if I'm trusting someone to cut, style and/or color my hair it is reassuring to see that they have good taste themselves). Esmeralda, who did my hair both times I visited, is an exceptional hairdresser/stylist/person and also happens to be the owner of the salon. She has a very kind and humble demeanor, and is very patient. She took the time to talk through what I wanted. Esmeralda has a good sense of how to make hair look great while making it appear natural and effortless. One of the other stylists Dominique, who I have seen in action each time I have been there, is what I would call a "blond connoisseur." Ladies if you are looking to go blond for the summer this is your girl! As for me, I am mixed and have long, extremely curly brown hair with immense body. I leave it curly most of the time and a few times each year I have it flat ironed (which doesn't usually last long because the humidity gets to it pretty quickly). A few weeks ago I started doing some research on the Brazilian Blowout vs. Karetine treatment vs. a Japanese straitening treatment. I was looking for something to tame my mane while also conditioning it. Considering I didn't want to permanently get rid of my curls or do anything to damage my hair, the original Brazilian Blowout seemed to be the best option. I compared different salons online and called a bunch however I was a little bit deterred when quoted $300 and up for the Brazilian treatment alone and was told that if my hair was past my shoulders it would be even more....esh I thought. That seemed a bit steep to me. Other salons said they only did the Karitine treatment where you can't wash your hair for days after. I read that this treatments does more harm than good. Finally, I found Salon Olines online and spoke with Esmerelda on the phone before my appointment. She reassured me that it would simply soften my curls and reduce the frizz and she quoted me a very reasonable price. So I took the appointment and I had a Brazilian Blowout and haircut. After the blowout, the frizz was literally gone and I was able to keep my hair style for days after. Once I did let it go natural again, my curls were still present just a little less curly at the root and in the front of my head. My hair is more manageable, less frizzy and somewhat weighed down. Just what I needed! After my first appointment I referred one of my girlfriends to Esmeralda and she had an Ombré coloring done that she absolutely loves!!! Last week I had my hair highlighted and flat ironed. I am very happy with the outcome. I had not put any color or highlights in my hair for years and wanted to keep it looking natural while adding a little flair. Mission accomplished! I will preface this with saying that I found Salon olines on Groupon, but liked the yelp reviews I saw and decided to come here. It is my first haircut in Dallas and I was so hesitant after reading about 5-7 other places that I wasn't too keen on visiting. I called for an appointment and told them I was going to buy a Groupon but wanted to ensure they had space for an appointment before I bought it. They told me they would honor the price and I didn't need to buy it! The salon is located in bishops arts and it is nestled among other cute stores. Parking is scarce especially around the evening time because of the popular restaurants nearby but it is free for 4 hours. I got there early, and my stylist was still busy, so she got me started with the Moroccan oil treatment. I only wish she was a little faster because the quoted time for my 1 hour treatment+cut was doubled and in top of me being super early I spent way too much time there. No one offered me any water or beverages and the salon itself isn't the prettiest to look at. All that aside my stylist, Tanya did a wonderful job. I haven't had my hair cut in so long because I had balayage and was afraid of losing all my highlights. She was so patient and kind and offered suggestions and to redo it if I wasn't happy but I was! She nailed the look I had envisioned. The oil treatment also felt great on my hair and I would recommend that to those with treated hair. I'm happy my with new haircut! Will likely be back if they honor another Groupon. $35 cut and $45 for cut/oil/style are. It bad deals! read more

I was a walk in with clip in hair extensions, and they recommended Alba, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. She cut my hair, then put the extensions in (in a more secure manner than I had known how to do) then cut the extensions to blend in seamlessly with my hair. I had gone to this place because of great reviews and followed their Instagram was really looking forward to. I showed the lady a picture of exactly how I wanted my hair , turns out she dyed my hair completely different talking about she ran out of the color hair dye that I wanted it! I mean i have never got told that in any salon before she was also supposed to bleach all my hair and she only did parts of it. Natasha not only messed up on my curls, but she took 2 hours. Yes, 2 hours to curl hair. I ended up looking like a poodle and I asked her to make it less curly and she did by straightening everything out and recurling. I had to kindly direct her the entire time since she seemed clueless on how to curl hair. Then I asked her to give me change for 20 dollars so I can tip her since cash is way better. She came back with two 5 dollar bills. I asked her where's the rest of my change and she said she took half. Do NOT use Natasha. Please save your money and time. She is a thief. Been trying to find a decent salon for a while now. Been back and forth with a few places but I think I FINALLY found my place! A friend of mine had mentioned she came here using a Groupon and I am so glad I did the same! I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. You need to call for an appointment. I had Veronica and she did a great job with my hair cut. Usually find something wrong with the other places I have been to but she pretty much knew what I wanted based off what my hair looked like. My hair felt and looked so much healthier afterwards and she made sure to make everything look perfect! The place took me a while to fond because the sign is not big so I would recommend looking at an image on Google maps of how the store looks like and you will find it. There is a parking lot on the side of the complex and its free but it does get kind of packed around noon since there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Other than that, I am very happy with my experience here. Will I come back? For sure!! read more

Have gone here twice for a haircut to get layers to cut off blonde tips, both times I used a Groupon and the two different ladies did great. They're quick but also do a perfect job exactly how I like it. The shampoo/conditioner makes your hair super soft. Only complaint is that I paid for a deep conditioning treatment and I only got a regular wash the first time. Haven't come here for coloring yet but I will be back. read more

I was walking around Bishop Arts yesterday window shopping and happened across this salon. There was a sign that they accept walk ins and I have been needing a haircut, so I decided to try them out. I haven't yet found a salon/hairdresser in Dallas that I love, so I had been putting off getting a trim. I didn't look at the price list beforehand and figured that the worst situation could be that they charged me $100 or so... Haircut was awesome, great blowout, I didn't feel pressured to buy any of their products (I HATE when a salon tries to sell you more things), and it ended up being $45. I took a price list with me and it says a cut/blowout for women is $55, so not sure if the hairdresser charged me less because I was a new client or they have different prices for different stylists, but it was a pleasant surprise. It was an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend this salon to others! read more
