The second 3 pictures are the ones my daughter took after she did ...the blow out Please read... A disappointed customer/friend so I thought. I made an appt a week before I came home this pass weekend...Talked about color for my hair (I stated-blonde highlights- streaks, she stated honey blonde/platinum- lemon color) and style (2 strain twist) on my natural hair....no relaxer.. I arrived from Maryland on Friday 2/15, had my 1:00pm (12:30pm) to Stacey Cole, Reflections Of You Glen Raven NC (Studio 10- Beautiy Shop). My old beautician from Burlington NC. We talked about my plans; dinner with my friends on Friday evening at 6:30pm. I had Sister Day on Saturday morning in Durham and church on Sunday. I had a full schedule on President's Day weekend. With excitement to see each other..I told her why I was home, asked her about O' Charlie's Resturant - meeting friends, Sister Day and Church etc... Stacy had a parent / teacher meeting at 3:30pm on Friday so there was no room for a redo on my schedule. She did dye my hair for what I thought was honey blonde and did a 2 strain twist. She added curl activator gel..suppose to hold my twist.. well so I thought. She put me under dryer..now complete... she took my 2 strain twist out and I told her go ahead and pull them apart for me.. ..she handed me the mirror for me to see and I asked her about the color ..is not highlighted and noticed my hair looked very puffy..like an afro looking I said well ...at least its clean, I said it a few times b/c she had her appointment. she flash her calculator to me with the price ..$50 plus I gave her a $5 tip. I was in shock but disappointed with the color and hair. I didnt know what to or say at this point.I left shop and drove down to the parking lot of Maxway/ beauty supply ..called her back.. told her I did see any honey color and my hair looks like an afro/ puffy. She said, she would redo it afterwards but we talked again, she could not make maybe Saturday or Sunday after church. I told her I had to meet friends that evening. I was so upset so I went inside the beauty supply trying to find something to straighten my hair or find something.The lady at the shop tried to help me so she touch my hair and it was wet. I told her I just let my beautician she was shock...she took 2 pictures of my hair..no honey blonde nor 2 strain twist. I had to get my daughter to rewash/ blow dry my hair out and just put some curls because I could not go all weekend with my hair like that..my weekend was already filled up. On Saturday before I left with my sisters, I called Stacey, asked for my money back b/c no honey blonde/ 2 strain twist. She said NO... I used her time, product. water and electric ..etc. I went to her shop and asked for at least half but she said I'm not going to give you your money back.. she had a older lady in her chair at that time. I told her I trusted you with hair for years and I came from Maryland to Burlington for you to do my hair and this is the thanks I get..no..you are going to give me half. I want at least half. She said I use her time, product, water and electric. She told me to get out, other clients are coming I said no...not until I get half of my money ...she finally gave me back me $25 back and told me to have a blessed day that she was blessed and I said yes I'm blessed too but the devil is a liar and closed the door. Here is my afro style that Stacey Cole did and the straight blowout style that my daughter did...I could not go an entire weekend with this afro style. I guess I was just another random client but no one should be treated like this.. she did my hair when I lived in Burlington NC.

The tech didn't cut nails, trim cuticles and barely brushed the scrubber on my feet. She out in lukewarm paraffin that didn't cover my feet without oil! What is the point?!! Then she painted my toenails with old polish that did not dry. I have clumpy mess on my toes. They don't dry and she nicked one while painting. Instead of fixing properly she glumped more nail polish on! What a mess! I've got to go somewhere else to get all that she did wrong fixed. No callous treatment. Horrible pedicure! I was embarrassed to return to work and the reactions have been as bad as the cut itself...Tried to call to speak to the owner, but the stylist keeps answering and won't let me. Tried to email them, but apparently the email on the "contact us" no longer works. The studio has a great vibe and the people seem nice and it was busy.
