I signed up for a deep tissue and it was far from anything resembling a deep tissue massage. It got better then I asked to increase the pressure, but still pretty lack luster. Her presence was just average and after asking for focus areas, I was still tight and didn't even feel like I received a massage. It was a complete waste of $250. Do not recommend this masseuse at all. I never felt worse paying for a massage in my life.

However, when I set up my appointment for my touch up the receptionist was unpleasant to deal with. She called me three times while I was at work to ask if I could move my appointment up. In response I told her IF I could make that I would let her know within the hour but if I did not call her then we would have to stick with my original time. This spa sends out text messages as reminders of appointment times. I received a message she had moved my appointment up so I used my lunch break to take the trip out to the spa. When I checked in the receptionist asked me why I was there because my appointment wasn't for another hour. She told me that she only sent that message in HOPES that I would call her. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized and inconvenient. I take a drive of 55 minutes to get to this specific spa. I had to sit there and wait an hour and a half for my appointment which was supposed to be with Cheyenne but it was not. Cheyenne has to go home early that day which is understanding. Things pop up and I'm understanding of that. The woman who did my lashes was new and took longer than expected. At this point I didn't mind as long as my eyelashes were done correctly (spoiler alert: they were not). At the end of my appointment the receptionist offered me an eyebrow wax "it looks like" I "could use it". The most unprofessional rude service I've ever had. I was so disappointed and irked by this situation. The picture uploaded is less than a week after my appointment date. Cheyenne came in to check on my lashes before she rushed out and kept telling the woman doing my lashes to get new glue. The way this was poorly handled really depreciates a business incredibly quickly. If anyone has a suggestion for a new lash place let me know ASAP!

I scheduled a session with Maggie K. at the Bainbridge/Aurora Ohio Ulta, and truly, it was the best $30 I've spent on makeup in years. Maggie was knowledgeable, kind, and completely focused on choosing products that worked for my skin, my coloring, and my goals. I came home and ended up editing about 95% of my old makeup. I'm starting the summer fresh with Ulta's products, and I'm thrilled with everything -- the foundation, concealer, blushes, lip gloss, mascara, brushes, and more. I even went back for a second lesson on eyeshadow and brow mascara, and once again, Maggie delivered fantastic results. I have been to many Massage Envy's and had memberships with three over the course of my lifetime…read more When I came to this location in the past, I was never swayed to sign up again until I randomly booked Tara, who is hands down, the very best massage therapist I have ever had (and I have had hundreds of massages all over the world). One 90 min massage with Tara and I was sold. She is kind, respectful, and it is so obvious that she loves what she does and spends hours honing her craft. Like all Massage Envy's, they cut you short about 10-15 min to "review your needs and dress/undress" which is ridiculous because that all takes about 2-3 min tops, and their add-ons are quite expensive, but if you sign up for a membership while they are running a special, they throw in perks like free upgrades. I've tried the targeted percussion therapy, the aromatherapy, the foot scrub, the Himalayan salt stones, the hot stones, the CBD oil and hot towels, and a few other items. I've never noticed a big difference with any of that stuff but the hot stones and CBD towel experience were quite nice. Regardless, it all comes down to who your massage therapist is and I cannot speak to the others, but Tara is phenomenal. Membership rates are steep and I wish they had less than a year- commitment because I would get massages more frequently if they were more affordable. I recently tried another massage salon that had a better price and it wasn't worth it. The whole time, I was comparing them to Tara and the quality of Massage Envy. I highly recommend this location and this therapist. You will NOT be disappointed.
