I definitely needed to de-stress on this day after getting into a minor car accident earlier that morning. INSIDE -- The space is very warm and inviting just similar to a Spa. When you enter, you will be greeted by a staff member at the front desk. There are numerous chairs to sit at in the lobby. There is also a water/tea station right at the front as you enter. In addition, you can remove your shoes and jacket at the front entrance. There is also a back entrance as well because the front outside gets congested from parked cars. SERVICES/TREATMENTS -- If you enjoy fitness, then a small gym is available for use before or after a wellness service. Private personal trainers train clients inside this gym so you can book a personal training session. For services, they offer CRYOTHERAPY, INFRARED SAUNAS, SALT THERAPY, NUCALM NEUROSCIENCE THERAPY, MASSAGE & COMPRESSION CHAIRS, WHOLE BODY VIBRATION (a small machine located in the gym), and more new services coming in 2020. Thanks to Yelp and being a Yelp Elite member, I got to try 2 services for free -- the massage chair and the salt cabin. I highly recommend the massage chair because it is zero gravity meaning the chair reclines back plus it really deeply massages the lower and mid-body. The salt cabin treatment felt okay to me because I was just bored inside plus it was really cold in there. However, there are benefits to salt therapy including helping with skin problems, inflammation, and removing mucous from the lungs. SAUNA -- Benefits include relaxation and detoxification. They have 2 sauna rooms. In my most recent visit, I paid for a sauna treatment which is $20 for non-members or 1 credit for members. Basically, 1 credit equals $20. Now $20 may be too expensive for some people but taking care of your body shouldn't come as a price; rather, a reward. Before entering the sauna, a staff member asked if I wanted electrolyte infused water so I gladly accepted a cup. It's important to hydrate before, during, and after entering a sauna to replenish water lost through sweat. I enjoyed the infrared sauna and the heat (135F) didn't bother me. Infact, I wished it was hotter....haha. Before I walked in, a staff member asked me what program I wanted and I believe I choose "detoxification". See my attached photos for a description of their sauna programs. Once inside, I sat then laid down while glancing through a book. There is a remote inside that allows you to adjust the light. The different coloured light settings are supposed to help the body in many ways. After getting out of the sauna, there is a mini-fridge that has a eucalyptus infused towel for cooling off. It felt nice to wrap the small towel around my neck and pat it on my chest. I highly recommend the sauna and massage chair. Visit Reset Lounge today located in quaint Chagrin Falls. Active does take insurance and offers packages to purchase if you plan on going back numerous times. The staff is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and makes you comfortable during each visit. What I do really like too is they offer texting which is helpful in scheduling appointments and reminders. It isn't an automatic service on the other line when texting, it is an actual person who answers your questions and concerns! Overall, Active is a great office that helps resolve your issues while easing your mind with answers to whatever questions you might throw their way!

However, when I set up my appointment for my touch up the receptionist was unpleasant to deal with. She called me three times while I was at work to ask if I could move my appointment up. In response I told her IF I could make that I would let her know within the hour but if I did not call her then we would have to stick with my original time. This spa sends out text messages as reminders of appointment times. I received a message she had moved my appointment up so I used my lunch break to take the trip out to the spa. When I checked in the receptionist asked me why I was there because my appointment wasn't for another hour. She told me that she only sent that message in HOPES that I would call her. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized and inconvenient. I take a drive of 55 minutes to get to this specific spa. I had to sit there and wait an hour and a half for my appointment which was supposed to be with Cheyenne but it was not. Cheyenne has to go home early that day which is understanding. Things pop up and I'm understanding of that. The woman who did my lashes was new and took longer than expected. At this point I didn't mind as long as my eyelashes were done correctly (spoiler alert: they were not). At the end of my appointment the receptionist offered me an eyebrow wax "it looks like" I "could use it". The most unprofessional rude service I've ever had. I was so disappointed and irked by this situation. The picture uploaded is less than a week after my appointment date. Cheyenne came in to check on my lashes before she rushed out and kept telling the woman doing my lashes to get new glue. The way this was poorly handled really depreciates a business incredibly quickly. If anyone has a suggestion for a new lash place let me know ASAP!

Full disclosure, I have been going to Seriously Skin for a few years for neurotoxin treatments. It…read morestruck me odd that a 3% surcharge was added if you use a credit card for payment. All the treatments at this practice are well over $100 since they are cosmetic. IMO, who walks around with cash to cover this. However, the reason I am writing this review is concerning the experience I had today. As always, when called back I was asked about the treatments I wanted. The assistant was insistent on trying to sell me additional treatments that I was not interested in and seemed confused when I repeatedly stated what I wanted done. Please note, I always do the same thing, brow furrow and crows feet. I am not exaggerating when she repeatedly stated that I wanted two other areas for neurotoxin treatment that I did not want (forehead and lower face). I corrected her multiple times and it struck me odd as I always do the same thing. I was stunned when Dr. Tish came in and injected my forehead (her habit is to come in and inject without verifying the areas). I stopped her from proceeding. Please understand, my forehead doesn't need help, but my eyes and furrow do. As you all know, the neurotoxins are extremely expensive and she wasted my money injecting an area that I didn't want injected. And as a result, less was left for the areas that I wanted targeted. I assumed she would apologize for the mistake and then correct the error. No, she did not. I am extremely dissatisfied with the results as I didn't get the full service that I paid for and she didn't offer to remedy the situation. I will never go there again and you are a fool if you trust your face to her. Lastly, any Doctor that is doing a procedure should, out of due diligence, confirm with the patient the procedure. She never has done that and in my mind, it is lazy and borderline malpractice.
