Reyna recommended to get demi-permanent coloring so when it grows out the color will be gradual and softer until my next visit. Wow!! She matched my natural color perfectly but in a way that looks more enhanced and vibrant. I asked for a trim and curtain bangs and she added some long layers in the front. Had updated my review but i got a notification my review was removed. Quite interesting either way the amount of work to go through to remove an honest review. As a customer walking into a business i rely on reviews to know what a place is like. Yes the owner is not friendly. Yes no one greets you at the door. Yes the paring is actually quite awful but yes there's parking up front at the meters. Yes I was there while a leak was happening right behind my head on top of my stylist during a color. Yes i was dissatisfied at the salons quality not the stylist. Especially when you're not offered to be moved to another chair. Had you gone above and beyond for that as an owner this review wouldn't be this. Just some food for thought. Be transparent. And fix your roof. Oh and my stylist name is Jamie. Jayri has been doing my hair for the past 5+ years |House calls|and she is the only person that will touch and I trust with my curly hair. Most people butcher it and don't know what they are doing. I appreciate her patience, hard work ethic and she is gentle and very professional and love that we can chat while I'm getting my hair done and makes the experience great! This time around we went a little shorter so kinda like a bob with lots of layers and 45 min later I came out with the most perfect styled bob and feeling like a million bucks! I needed a last minute hair treatment before my trip and I called Salon Plush. Reyna made time to fit me in the same day! It was my first time trying the Trissola keratin treatment so we will see how it goes. I've gotten Brazilian Blowouts before but after reading online I learned this keratin treatment is healthier and lasts longer; so I'm giving it a try. After doing the treatment I saw that my hair could use a trim and Reyna did a wonderful job with that. Then she washed my hair again and applied a hair mask followed by a blowout. My wife has cancer. So we Made an appointment a month in advance with salon Owner Reina. We told her my wife's condition she said no issue. We get there and we are waiting for half an hour as she finished her previous client and then she comes over to us and looks at wife and tells us she's just realized she's all booked and couldn't take us It's hard enough for my wife to get around. The salon owner didn't even offer us another day. Horrible treatment to anyone let alone someone who has cancer. Should be a zero rating Don't go to this salon . read more

I got my hair dyed by Marlowe in October. She was super friendly and personable. At the time I was okay with the outcome, not my favorite, but sitting in a chair for hours had me antsy to leave. She mentioned if the color wasn't how I liked it that I could come in and get it toned. Fast forward through the holidays, where I see several of my friends and they mention that my hair color doesn't look too great. The color doesn't blend well into my natural color, and in some areas it looks like there's a sharp line. I text Marlowe to set up an appointment to touch this up. I come in, and I show her the same reference photo that I had showed her in October. She begins to tell me how she could make it look more like the photo. I ask her how much to touch it up. $300. WHAT? To fix a bad dye job? I then realized that she didn't even know that she had done the job in the first place (great customer service..). She seemed surprised when I told her it was her work. She then let me know she didn't have that reference photo in her phone (but she had the first photo, of my old hair color I had sent her when we first began texting). After all of this, once she realizes that this is her work, I ask her how much it would cost to touch it up. Still $300. That's a joke. For anyone that looks at the comparison photo, it obviously does not look like the hair color treatment I asked for. I wish I had never wasted my money with Marlowe, and now I'm considering just going back to my natural color to get rid of the sloppy work. read more

I received a poor service from Jamie and left feeling unhappy with the color and quality of my hair. I'm a natural brunette and asked for an all over natural brown to cover a few gray hairs. I ended up with a noticeably lighter root with a red tone and extremely dark, almost black lengths. Jamie dyed my hair twice in one session when I was unhappy with her first color and it was sadly a poor job overall and left my hair feeling fried. I reached out to Jamie to express my dissatisfaction and she admitted that she didn't achieve what I asked for and only offered that my hair would lighten up over time. Jamies response to my concerns were dissatisfying so I reached out to the salon owner, Reyna, who was very kind and responsive and offered a refund for my color service. I appreciated her hearing me out and offering a solution other than to keep washing my hair. I did book a color correction at a different salon and ended paying to correct Jamie's cut and color as both were uneven. read more

Wow - I can't say enough fantastic things about Salon Plush! I am extremely picky about who touches my hair. For years, I searched to find that "special someone" that could understand the inner workings of my thick, micro-fine hair that is so straight it separates into ringlets if I curl it. Not to mention my double crown and cowlick. Thankfully, I found Reyna and Salon Plush is now my happy place. My hair does some strange things (including turning jet black if any brown is in my hair color) and Reyna conquers them all. I have been so protective of my hair over the years, yet I trust her skills/creativity/judgement so much that I'm willing to be blindfolded and say, "Do whatever," because I know it will be amazing. The shampoo room has the best chairs. There is none of that "water leaking down my neck" issue that happens in so many salons. The colors/decor of the place is also stylish.
