I went in asking for ash blonde highlights. I already had faded blonde highlights that needed a retouch, but after my appointment, my hair was darker than when I came in. The highlights were barely visible, and after a week my hair turned into a horrible copper tone with multiple uneven colors. They messed up from the first session. When they washed my hair, they asked if I liked the color, and that's when I saw the copper tone. I told them no, that I wanted a cool ash blonde like the image I showed. That's when they applied another toner on top. It only made things worse. I called and asked for a partial refund because I didn't want to damage my hair further, but they told me to come back to fix it. They said it had to be the same week with the same stylist. I felt stuck between accepting a bad result or exposing my hair to more chemicals so soon after bleaching. They said they would bring another stylist to monitor the process, but that never happened, even when I requested it. It was the same stylist the whole time. During the fix, I was told my highlights looked good and that my hair wouldn't lift much in one session, which was the first time I heard that from her. She also said it was because I wanted to stay under $280, which I NEVER said. If their priority was to protect my hair, that should have been clearly communicated from the beginning. Instead, I was told they could achieve what I wanted and by the end that I needed another session to get that. In my experience getting highlights for over 10 years, stylists are always honest about what's realistic and the process needed. I would have been fine with that, but here there was no communication and unrealistic expectations. They "fixed" it, but it still doesn't look good. The front is somewhat blonde, the back barely has highlights, and I'm left with damage. I will likely need a color correction because of the mess they created. Save yourself that bad experience and hair damage. I will never come back here. read more

I pay less than 250 for these exact services at salon 313 and I was charged 600 here and they call it a color correction! I call it a freaking mess! I usually see Trinity but she was not available the day I needed. The stylist they gave me did a very lackluster job for what I requested (shag cut and all over color), and I was prepared to pay, leave, and just fix it myself at home. That's what happens when you have new client and do a 20 second "consultation" and speak maybe 5 words to your client the whole time, they leave unhappy because you didn't understand what it is they want. As a former hair stylist, I can do it myself at home, but like to treat myself to the salon experience from time to time. While I was checking out to leave the owner asked if he could fix the haircut, because I was clearly unhappy, and I ended up walking out with exactly what I wanted thanks to him. Props to Matthew for fixing my haircut and also taking the time out of his schedule to do so, and also taking notes for the next time I come back. I'd recommend going to a mid or high "level" stylist at their salon if you want more than just a very basic cut or color. But 5 stars to the owner for stepping up to make sure the client left satisfied. read more

This salon needs to remember who the customers are. My 16 year old daughter went in today and asked for something and the stylist literally told her she did not have time for it. Then she got home and the cut was totally uneven. She is able to go back and get it fixed but so many companies are ignoring customers and focused on the bottom line. read more

I've had my hair done here (beautifully everytime!) several times since they opened, and each time, I've seen a different stylist and never had a single complaint. The staff is all so friendly, passing out snacks and drinks, occasionally with live entertainment or other funky happenings. My most recent visit there was probably my most favorite experience there because David was awesome and I couldn't have been happier with his service, attitude, and talent. read more

This place is something else don't dare critisize the owner by any means or you will be blamed for this salons mistakes first it started with wanting to get blue hair and boy did i look like a member of the blue man group with the amount of blue dye that was not on my head but on my whole body after that i decided to give them another chance not only are the staff so rude and unprofessional over the year and a half i went there my credit card was put on file without my permission a couple of months later i was approached by the owner for a hair skeen product due to my thin hair line and was told i NEED to get this i agreed i was ignored by the owner for weeks about it until i contacted him again and we set up a consolidation i was shook down for $400 in cash i was told so it wouldnt be reported with his credit card machine .... Strange this product that i was sold was absoutley garbage $400 which i was told was a special price because i was supposed to be a walking billboard and oh boy was that the biggest waste of money of my life it was so hot under it the glue smelled so bad underneath it and slipped so many times and this is with recommended maintenance a 3 week interval at $50 + tip each time my scalp has been irriatated to all hell ive been so itchy ive been in so much head pain with their shitty product i finally had enough and spoke about it publicly i was gaslit by the owner and he blamed it on the weather and i didnt maintain it enough even though i followed the recommendations of the cocky, pompous, arrogant owner i had enough and shaved my head oh and him and his staff blocked me after i spoke about my experience on social media LOL Ps hope you make up the cost of my install on your $350 meet and greets at a venue across the street from a taco bell (yeah he thinks hes a celebrity hairstylist) read more

After going to same stylist for years and following him loyally from Kennesaw to Matthews and Company in Flowery Branch (an almost 4-hour round trip for me), I am so disappointed and upset! I explicitly asked Guillermo to be certain to cover crown of my head with highlights and to please not leave any big areas without highlight. When I asked for a mirror to see the top back of my head, I had a huge area of solid brown hair, which stood out greatly against the other highlighted areas. When I asked (I wasn't offered) that he please add a few highlights to that area, he seemed irritated and stated he "had another customer". Wow. Then, after, a few more highlight, he had a floor person come over to shampoo the newly highlighted area. She literally only rinsed out new highlights and when I asked why no shampoo, she said, "Oh, did you want shampoo?" Ummm, yes.... Then I proceeded to have to comb out and blow dry my hair myself because Guillermo was "busy". What happened to "first come, first serve?" Why was I doing my own hair at the salon I was PAYING for service?? Never again!!!! read more

I just moved to Flowery Branch about a month ago. My fiancé showed me this salon; he said it looked cool from the outside. It has been a while since I had a hair cut and decided on a whim to schedule with this salon after looking at other salons in the area. When I called to schedule the receptionist recommended someone for the cut that I was wanting and even tho I couldn't get in at soon as I wanted to I took their recommendation and scheduled with Dallas. The salon inside is very nice. Everyone is super friendly and creates an inviting environment. Dallas was very patient and understanding of my concerns and wants. She made me feel very comfortable and took her time with my hair. My cut came out amazing! I can't thank you enough, Dallas, and I look forward to my next appointment! read more

I called and asked if they had a last min extension specialist to replace my extensions for a weddinv because my normal stylist wasn't available. they said yes and they would have plenty of time. well the person that put them In did horrible. she didn't wash or style mg hair. the extensions irritated my hair and were not put in properly. ive been getting them for years and never had any scalp irritatations. went to see my stylist the following week and she said they were so poorly put in she had to take them out and reapply. so I had to pay TWICE. I reached out to the owner and he said that its his best extension stylist basically saying he didn't believe me and proceeded to offer me a blowout. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
