The ladies at Venus did exactly this without being the least bit condescending or trying to sell me anything they didn't think I needed. As I told them what I was hoping for and what I was comfortable with, they led me through picking each element and applying it on my face, right there. Not only was this a lot of fun, but they know what they're doing. Both women that worked on me--one of which was the owner--are licensed cosmetologists and their work was impeccable. These aren't just women who think makeup is fun or something--they're serious about what they do and they honestly, genuinely want you to feel beautiful. The product is amazing and, yes, very expensive. I think it's worth it though. This is top of the line stuff that I will have for a long time and love using. I would recommend Venus to anyone looking to treat themselves to something special or to look extra amazing for a special occasion.
