I made an appt for root touch up w/highlights and all she did was the highlights and I left the salon with gray roots and had to come back a week later for the root touch up. I showed her pictures of styles I thought I would like. One was of a picture of my own hair after leaving a hairstylist in California and every time she gave me something much different. I showed up for a scheduled appt, drove 30 min to get there on time and she scheduled someone else in that slot the day before and made excuses that had nothing to do with me, no apology ~ i had to reschedule. When highlighting your hair she's rough, when drying your hair she's rough, I tried drying my own hair, leaving wet... I winced and asked her to please go easier, she blamed it on me having a sensitive head or hormones, no apology. I have never had a problem with other hairdressers highlighting or drying my hair. Every time you give feedback about your hair you have to listen to her go on & on about a bunch of who knows what but it has nothing to do with you leaving as a satisfied client and having a good outcome for your hair. In hindsight i should've moved on much earlier and if Prescott was Phoenix area or Los Angeles, I would've I absolutely would've.

I was downgraded to an express facial when I arrived, the lady (not the owner) who did my facial said this was best for what I needed. Really I think she just wanted to be done earlier in her day as I was her last appointment. The express facial only lasted 20 minutes. She touched my face with the extraction tool maybe 7-10 times and left my nose and chin full of gunk and black heads. Enough to the point that you can easily see the blackheads in normal lighting. The owner did call me back and was very kind, she offered another facial for free, I decided not to get another one and she was willing to refund my money. I think the owner's services would be better than the lady that I received the facial from.

I was very new to permanent cosmetics and called a few places before deciding. One "spa" in…read morePrescott encouraged me to come the next day without consult to have the procedure, it would take less than an hour, and they'd lower the price if I paid in cash. I called Jen and was offered a consult, she spent a half hour with me discussing everything from the procedure to my personal skin care routine. She's someone who tells you what you need to hear, not what benefits her. I almost got this done 1 week before being in a wedding - and the other "spa" said it was "perfect timing" while Jen immediately said NO. She also spent 2 hours to make my brows look perfect (at my later booked appointment- post wedding thank goodness!!). She is not a "microblader" she is a knowledgeable and meticulous eyebrow artist and her work speaks for itself. So thankful for her honesty and AMAZING work. I couldn't recommend her enough. My first stylist had just retired and…read moreI was trying to find another and just saw an ad that said something to the effect of "Drop in," so I did. After she finished with the lady she was working on, I asked her what she would do with my hair. Jennifer must have spent about 15 minutes playing with it, moving it around, etc. My first appointment a couple of days later was one I'll never forget. My hair is curly and has a mind of its own it seems. Now I can wash it, twirl hair around my fingers, leave with wet hair, and when it dries it looks beautiful every time. I've forgotten how many years I've been going to Jennifer.
