Apparently,l she was just squeezing me in between her other, customer (a hair color procedure}although, my appointment was made several months ago. The time she spent with me was 15 minutes. She did not ask me how much I wanted trimmed etc. I had to stop her and tell her how much I wanted trimmed. She was clearly rushing me through the service. I was very clear on how I wanted my hair cut; I have shoulder length hair and wanted a precision cut, slightly longer just in front of the ear. What I got was about the worst hair cut I have ever had. Some areas were, one inch longer on the top layer. I called and she had me come back only to trim a very small area on the left side of my head. On her business card Ms. Shpiro calls herself a, " Master Designer." I question, how she got that designation. When I attempted to explain what I wanted done to my hair, she turned her back on me and said, " she had been cutting hair for 50 years, and knew how to do it. She also told me, "I guarantee my work." I was not about to have her wack on my hair a third time therefore, I found another hairdresser that took her time and did exactly what I asked her to do. Ms Shapiro, refused to give me a refund. So much for her guarantee. In less than a weeks time, I paid her $45.00 and my new stylist $60.00 total $105.00. I do not recommend Ms. Shapiro to anyone.

Years ago, I had an incident where another stylist ruined my hair. I am a buttercream blonde, and prior to Erica; my hair had brassy, yellow, grey undertones and was completely fried. Erica seriously brought my hair and confidence back to life. She was patient and gentle with my hair and not only salvaged my hair - but made it look the best it's ever been. She's always honest with me, and cared about my hairs health. She truly cares about her clients and their needs. Erica has never made me feel dismissed or a nuisance by needs. She has never tried to sell me products that I didn't need, never pushed me out the door, never cancelled on me and has never pushed me for tips (but you should tip her or any hair stylist you go to FYI.) I left some photos of myself in the daylight and indoors, as you can see my hair is very vibrant and golden in any environment. She also has done a keratin job on my hair that put the keratin back into my hair - she's done a lot of health treatments and knows how to style it well.
