Years ago, I had an incident where another stylist ruined my hair. I am a buttercream blonde, and prior to Erica; my hair had brassy, yellow, grey undertones and was completely fried. She did not ask me how much I wanted trimmed etc. I had to stop her and tell her how much I wanted trimmed. She was clearly rushing me through the service. I was very clear on how I wanted my hair cut; I have shoulder length hair and wanted a precision cut, slightly longer just in front of the ear. What I got was about the worst hair cut I have ever had. Some areas were, one inch longer on the top layer. I called and she had me come back only to trim a very small area on the left side of my head. On her business card Ms. Shpiro calls herself a, " Master Designer." I question, how she got that designation. When I attempted to explain what I wanted done to my hair, she turned her back on me and said, " she had been cutting hair for 50 years, and knew how to do it. She also told me, "I guarantee my work." I was not about to have her wack on my hair a third time therefore, I found another hairdresser that took her time and did exactly what I asked her to do. Ms Shapiro, refused to give me a refund. So much for her guarantee. In less than a weeks time, I paid her $45.00 and my new stylist $60.00 total $105.00. I do not recommend Ms. Shapiro to anyone.
